Stayed in this hostel for 2 nights during the euro 2016. Overall the hostel was very nice. Staff was friendly, Dan at the front desk was able to answer any question that my friends and I may have had. Rooms were clean and it was nice having a sink in the room. Only downside were the other guests in my... More

Stayed here for 2 nights during Euro 16 with the purpose of visiting the eiffel tower fan zone (did this each night of my stay - fab! ). As soon as you walk into the 'lobby' you are amazed at how beautiful this place is - for £25 a night! Can't complain about the price at all. I shared a... More

Stayed here during euro 2016 when they put the prices up to €45 a night for a dorm room, which is easily the most expensive hostel I've ever stayed in. No facilities whatsoever, and they even charge for wifi which is absolutely inexcusable for a hostel. Finally they only accept cash, which is not a big deal really but just... More

Great location, close to the metro and located close to all the sites. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Free breakfast is also offered but you must pay for wifi, also no free locked lockers are provided. Overall it was definitely worth the value. I had a pleasant stay.

Great place. It was clean and nice, the man behind the counter was very helpful and approachable; he could speak English as well as French. The interior and the house itself was beautiful, with high ceiling and fantastic walls. Overall a very positive experience!

We stayed for 2 nights in a 6 bed room, this is the first time ever I have stayed in a hostel that did not offer lockers in the room, or a key for the room for that matter. If you wanted your computer safe, they stored it in the reception. However if you wanted to lock away your make... More

The rooms were clean, the bathroom was less crowded and was clean. The breakfast was great. What more can you expect from a hostel? And it was close to the city attractions. We walked (it was tiresome) around the cities but one can take metros too. Trinity station is not that far from the hostel.

Affordable, as you would expect. the place is very stylish and well furnished, and clean. Internet costs extra but it is of good quality. Breakfast is great, seating areas are good. There are lockers which also cost extra, but you wouldn't need it. You can make friends sharing a room with other travelers. but also some guys will be noisy... More

A great location, many restaurants in the area and only 2 minutes from the metro. For a hostel, it is excellent. Everything that you need is provided and the staff are very helpful and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again. 10/10

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
