Stayed at le vignon from 20-24 June to see the sights and also take in the NI v Germany match at the parc de princes. Hotel is excellently placed in the Madeline/Opera area beside a metro station, roughly a 2 minute walk away. The hotel staff are excellent with nothing too much bother with regards asking directions, getting maps to...

Location, location, location. It was my partner's first time ever in Paris, and we could not have picked a better hotel to introduce her to the City of Lights. No matter what direction we decided to stroll to from the hotel, we were steps from shopping on legendary Hausseman, from visiting the Madeleine, from the Place de la Concorde, the...

The service was good, the staff was friendly, the hotel was clean and decent. Great location near the metro. Had a nice visit and the staff was very helpful with our plans to see the sites of Paris. I would get a room on the upper floor with street views.

Hotel is small but directly in the center (near Madeleine, Opéra, 15 mins walk to Louvre), so easy to visit a number of places from the hotel. Rooms are nice for an "citytrip" hotel, ie. where you don't stay hours and hours. Just watch out for the breakfast in the hotel, we were a bit misinformed or misunderstood the rate....

Small, cozy and clean hotel located very centrally. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Perfect for a short stay if dont plan to stay in a room during the days for too long since the room is not thaat big. We did not try breakfast. I would definitely come back

I stayed one night for business reason. this hotel is well located: near the Place de la Madeleine and the Tuileries Garden by examples. it is easy to access and the street is quiet to sleep well. you will be very well received by the staff at the entrance and for your breakfast. the room is nicely decorated and comfortable....

Fully functional city hotel with clean, crisp linen and helpful multilingual staff. Prices are a bit high but it is in the heart of the city. Breakfast in the basement can be claustrophobic. Rooms are modern with white walls and modern soft furnishings. Rooms at the back are overlooked by adjoining buildings whist at the front they can be noisy.

The rooms are small but comfortable and clean and the staff are really friendly. If you want to shop and sight see then this is a great place to base yourself, in the heart of the Madelaine district. So many great shops and places to eat right on your door step and the metro is just a stones throw from...

Hotel Le Vignon would have to be our number one choice for staff, location and value. We were greeted by friendly staff when we checked in and each time we passed the reception desk. Location is fantastic. Close to a number of metro stations, the Opera and the main department stores and with a good choice of bistros in easy...

Lovely small boutique hotel , wonderful and helpful reception. Amazing location set beside Madeleine and Galleria Lafayette. Hotel is kind of old little bit but still hold its cozy design and atmosphere. Cleanses depends on the mood of the person or shift that is handling your room/floor , that also goes for the tip you hand out to them for...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Hotel Le Vignon is an ideal combination of freshness, warmth and liveliness with all the qualities one might wish for in a hotel. Including a friendly welcome and up-to-date and utterly unique decor. Located in a peaceful street in the Madadeleine area, in the heart of Paris. The original little salon in fun, chic hues, is visible from the road and just invites you to come in. Inside, there is a bright and polished atmosphere, with double curtains and black and white photographs lending a touch of elegence. The junior suites on the sixth floor are even grander: their high ceilings, arranged in a carefully thought out layout puts them among the most beautiful rooms in Paris. The buffet breakfast is extra special thanks to a selection of fresh products, as well as the eggs prepared on request by Gloria, who'll serve you an energising meal to start the day.
