Flashback to 1971...stunning TWA experience to Paris and a stay at the Parc Monceau. Wonderful location, excellent Continental breakfast...who says the French don't like Americans? Now, flash forward to last summer and a long-awaited European trip with my just-engaged daughter. Imagine how sad and pathetic it was to see this hotel in the condition described by other reviewers: moldy, cracks,... More

High lights: good location, proximity to cafes/bakeries, close to metro Low lights: no airconditioning, tired room decor, damp smell, the staircase seemed structurally unsound, the bathroom roof leaked after the people upstairs used their shower/bath and the bathroom flooded- we were moved to another room. Verdict- there are better places in Paris for same amount of money.

The hotel is suffering from structural problems resulting in cracks in the walls and damp. The damp smell is very strong and wallpaper is peeling off the walls. The room was shabby and maintenance was poor with lights not working. Breakfast fine but expensive for what was on offer and the patisserie on the corner would have befn more reasonable.... More

The hotel is suffering from structural problems resulting in cracks in the walls and damp. The damp smell is very strong and wallpaper is peeling off the walls showing black mould spores on the wall. The room was clean overall but very shabby. Breakfast was okay but expensive for what was on offer. There's a patisserie around the corner which... More

Location is ok, near to Monceau and Malsherbes metro (5 minute walk). Room was of a good size and bathroom was fairly modern, but the room itself was very dated, which was a problem as the carpet was threadbare in places. Think you can probably get better for your money as it is not cheap at all.

I want to draw the attention of travelers to the extremely disappointing experience I have had with a Paris hotel that advertises itself as “a home away from home”. Regrettably, my advice would be, “Don’t leave home”! The name of this regrettable establishment is the Hotel Elysees Parc Monceau. My annoyance arises from the unfair application of the hotel’s cancellation... More

My wife and I went to Paris for a date and selected this hotel. Located on a quite street close to Parc Monceau, we arrived at the hotel and were met with friendly staff and a cozy and comfortable lobby. The attendant spoke english and readily assisted us...even letting us choose which room we preferred. We had a room on... More

We were two women in our twenties staying at this hotel in December 2009. The lobby decor is kind of tacky, although the rooms are very big for Paris standards. The bathroom was also spacious and clean, especially for two girls being able to get ready for a night out comfortably at the same time. It is a small hotel... More

No reception for wifi in my room - i asked if i could change rooms as i needed internet access and they straight up said no. Then went back to whatever they were doing on the computer and ignored me whilst i stood there dumbfounded. Awful smell from the bathroom, i could never pinpoint what it was - mouldy carpet?...
