My parents live in France near Paris and my husband and I live in London. My big birthday was coming up and I wanted to celebrate with my parents so we decided to go to Paris for dinner and stay overnight. I love the St Germain area of Paris and have stayed many times. There are so many eclectic shops... More

I must confess that I usually stay at a lovely, smart hotel twice the price In St. Germain, but decided to give this a go. You can't beat the location, just minutes from the Odeon metro station, and the selection of restaurants near by would satisfy the Foodie box. For shoppers, this quarter is full of little boutiques as well... More

The Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain is an adorable boutique hotel in an amazing neighborhood in Paris. The hotel is beautifully decorated and remains true to it's 16th century origins. The room was small, as is expected in Paris, but was nicely decorated and kept clean. It is situated in the Latin Quarter, which is home to great restaurants, cute cafes and... More

We were here with friends, and the hotel gave us all a pleasant stay as always. Cold outside - warm hotel! The location is perfect and the atmosphere in the area is the best, even in January. The staff were very helpful. Good breakfast! Recommend this hotel!

Location ideal for the Latin Quarter, friendly and helpful reception desk, comfortable rooms and good internet. Especially convenient for the university, and great for runners (5 mins from the Luxembourg Gdns, 10 mins from the riverfront)

We stayed here for 2 nights last weekend and had a superb stay. This is a beautiful boutique hotel in a fabulous area of Paris. Situated in the 6th, it's really close to some incredible sights such as Jardin du Luxembourg, Saint Sulpice, Pantheon and looooooads of bars and restaurants. Odeon metro is a 5 minute walk away too. The... More

We had an great experience at Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain. We were upgraded to a deluxe room, which provided plenty of space for our things and to relax in. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good sized with an adjustable shower head. The gentlemen at the front desk were very polite and helpful. The hotel is within easy walking... More

This was our third stay at Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain. We love the location of this hotel which is in easy walking distance to many museums and other sites we like to visit. We enjoy just walking around Paris and taking in the Parisian atmosphere! The breakfast is served in a beautifully decorated room and is a pleasant way to start... More

We stayed at Hotel Odeon Saint-Germain in late October, and would not have even considered another hotel. This was our third visit to this charming hotel. We have stayed in three different rooms (5,10, 15). The location is fantastic, close to metro, and also within walking distance to almost all of Paris. We did not have breakfast here, as we... More

On our way home from celebrating the New Year in Provence, we spent a night at the Odeon Saint Germain on Rue Saint Sulpice. We have stayed there a number of times and, as always, found it to be friendly, warm and comfortable on this occasion. Like most of the small hotels in Paris, the rooms are not large but... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
