We liked this hotel and had a good time, aside from a little set-back (not due to the hotel at all). The room was clean and the small reception area is very cozy and has a small nice cafeteria/breakfast area. Hotel is in a very nice area within walking distance to the Notre Dame Cathedral and the beautiful area that...

Rooms are comfortable and well- isolated. Staff is kindly to costumers. Subwaystation is nearby (St.Paul) and the Louvre is within 7 minutes by subway (yellow line). The Marais is across the rue de Rivoli. We always book this hotel. hotelprices are very reasonable for such a central located hotel.

I loved this hotel. I stayed 7 nights and got to know the friendly, accommodating staff. I met a couple at breakfast who have returned many times. I probably will, too. Winter rate was very reasonable and included breakfast of classic French fare. Location in the Le Marais district is central to shops, restaurants, markets, museums and Hotel de Ville...

We stayed for 2 nights this week, it's a less than 5 minute walk from the Hotel d'Ville metro stop, plenty of cafes around for lunch/dinner if required. The room was the largest room we have ever had in a Paris hotel, the bed was wide and very comfortable, nice plump pillows with extra in the wardrobe. Basic amenities in...

We stayed at the hotel for our 2nd wedding anniversary in September and everything was excellent. On arrival at the hotel, our room was upgraded and so we were on the top floor with a balcony and small but lovely room. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were very helpful on arrival and showed all the key locations...

Having made a number of business trips to Paris I am familiar with the style of budget hotels, and this one did not disappoint. Good standard of decor and excellent central location. If you are venturing out to eat some of the surrounding restaurants are overpriced so go into the back streets to find the same food for better prices....

My stay in Paris was at the Hotel Rivoli Paris in the heart of the Marais. The hotel is a decent and clean hotel which is perfect for a short stay. It isn't a very luxurious hotel and the breakfast was not really extensive but the price and location made it worth the stay. Just a 5 minute walk from...

We stayed in a three-person room for a "girls trip" to Paris. A hotel room with three separate beds is rare in Paris and we were happy to find Hotel Paris Rivoli. The room was definitely tight for three beds and three adults, but for the price we paid, we didn't mind. The room was clean and tidy. The bathroom...

Stayed here for two nights whilst on business in Paris. I was given a complimentary upgrade which was very welcome as this meant I got a room with a balcony and tea/coffee making facilities. Staff were friendly and spoke excellent English which made check in and check out very easy. The road outside is very busy so can be a...

We stayed at this hotel for three nights during our first trip to Paris. At check in, we were warmly greeted and were given a nice run down of the area including some maps that highlighted area attractions/bus/metro/etc. The staff was always helpful and friendly. We had a room on the fifth floor, which from reading other reviews, looks to...

Staying in Le Marais

Neighborhood Profile
Le Marais
The Marais is a winding maze of multi-faceted streets that beg to be explored. It bursts with small boutiques, historic buildings, cozy traditional restaurants, and hidden parks. Around each corner, you'll come across little gems of architecture spanning the centuries, from understated medieval towers to classical libraries and 17th century splendor. This neighborhood unites a rich mix of people of all ages, but it's best known for the gay scene mostly in the south and the Jewish community around Rue des Rosiers.
