This hotel is perfect for a Parisian city break. Situated next to the Place Monge metro station on line 7 - direct to the Louvre and Notre Dame. The rooms are on the small side but are contemporary and the bathrooms are excellent - the shower in particular! Would highly recommend for anyone wanting a few nights in Paris.

Hotel was in a good location handy for the metro and all major tourist attractions , the rooms were small but modern with all the essentials . The only down side of the stay was the breakfast experience . The breakfast area just wasn't adequate, with no room for more than 2 people at a time , really spoiled the...

stayed here end of september, early october. Location is good, right near Place Monge metro station. HOWEVER, don't think this makes it convenient to take train/metro from the airport. We unfortunately did, and there is almost half mile trek through tunnels to change from rer to the number 7 metro line. then there are A LOT of steps out of...

I would like to give the hotel four points but the room they gave us was directly next to the elevator shaft and therefore very loud each time the elevator was used and it was used a lot also through the night. apart from that rooms small but clean. shower nice. beds ok. breakfast good for the price. wifi shaky...

I thought this was a great hotel, we stayed on the 5th floor and as we opened the french doors we had a great surprise that there was a small balcony that we could sit out and enjoy the view, the room was very clean and well cared for, all amenities, nice modern bathroom, superb comfy bedding, a wardrobe on...

So far one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Paris at a reasonable price. The rooms are however small, as all other hotel rooms in Paris… but they looked clean. At least the dark carpet looked clean! The breakfast area was very small, however the food was fine. Not too sure how the public transport from the hotel was...

This hotel tuerned out to be a good find, we payed less than the average rate in Paris yet our room was lovely. The room was quite compact but had everything you need including a large rain shower in the bathroom. The location of this hotel is really good with a couple of metro stops close by. There are also...

The location was great! Right across the street was a metro station and just the road was Rue Mouffetard, a great place for restaurants. As for the room itself, as with most rooms in Paris, it was very small, but modern. The hotel even offers a shuttle to the airport, so that was convenient.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
