The location was highly convenient and in a very safe part of town for a tourist unfamiliar with the area. The room we were given had a breathtaking view over the street on the 6th floor with a huge terrace. The breakfast was only 20 € and worth every penny. Expansive selection of quality foods.

Considering some of the pitfalls of booking in Paris this was a nice modern hotel with excellent service. A central location with plenty of places to eat close by made it ideal for what I needed. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Quite convenient location at the heart of Paris and next to metro station. Room was clean but a bit small. The hotel rate was on the expensive side. There was a bit of noise in the room, possibly from the metro train.

Staff were very friendly, room was clean and of a reasonable size for a city centre. only downside (and it is a first world problem so not too worried) is that the shower was not very powerful. I didn't eat here so can't comment on the food.

The hotel is very well located, we coudl access almost every visiting place walking, (we like to walk). The personnel was friendly. However the rooms were small, the heating and the air conditionig very old and ugly and not always functioning. The shower water tap was reversed and it was not easy to understand why there was not hot water....

Great location right by Grands Boulevards metro station so transfers from CDG are simple with just one change. Very helpful staff who organised my return taxi with ease and confirmed the night before. I stayed in 504 which is at the front of the hotel so you can hear noise from the street below - and lasts well into the...

We stayed at the TRYP Hotel for our spontaneous wedding anniversary weekend! We didn't want to spend to much money on a hotel ( rather invest it in food) as we would be on our feed all day anyway. So we went with the tryp hotel 114€ per night. We are very happy we chose the Tryp Hotel. We had...

Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
