Just got back from a 3 night stay and paid to upgrade to Comfort room. Location, whilst good to be near station it is not near enough to other main attractions if you are walking. By the time you arrive at the attraction you are too tired to walk round. There are no nice shops to browse round. Pros too...

Dear enjoywotudo, Thank you for your post on Tripadvisor. We understand that for some people our rooms looks like tiny but we are in the heart of Paris and this is the same for the majority of the 3 stars hotels. Otherwise, we have bigger rooms up to 3 adults. Moreover, all the facilities are faithful to the pictures and...

After reading through several reviews of hotels in Paris within our price range I booked a room for my boyfriend and I for our 3 night weekend break and it was absolutely perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering advice when needed. The room was modern and spotless, but small which is standard for Paris. Still, it was more...

We stayed for 2 nights in October 2012, we found the reception process poilte, friendly and helpful. The bedroom was clean, modern and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and modern with an excellent shower. The area round the hotel seemed perfectly okay and there are a few bars nearby where you can sample the local cuisine and...

Make no mistake, the rooms are really small. But the location, modern fittings, smart decor and reasonable price more than make up for the space (or the lack of it!). To give you an idea of the space, one person with one or two pieces of luggage is fine, but if you are two people with 4 pieces of luggage,...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
