A very good stay, surprised over the good english, easy to find in the middle of the night, very near Gare de Austerlitz, good clean room, a good bed and fine toilet. No disturbing night sounds from the hotel. Breakfast far over french standard. Neatr to good restaurants outside the hotel. Looking for a reason to come back !

very comfortable bed in a not-so-big but nicely designed room. Sliding door with big mirror on the bathroom entrance. Very quiet (at least the 3 days I was staying there). Great breakfast in a large, luminous room. Good point: the electric water boiler on a tablet, and convenient lights and electric outlets.

Really enjoyed my stay at Libertel. Well situated in a calm and quiet neighborhood, steps away from Gare d'Austerlitz and two metro lines, and only a 20 minute walk from the Latin Quarter and rue Mouffetard. La Grande Mosquée de Paris is right around the corner as well - I had their pastries for breakfast each morning. Overall, I would...

The staff is cortese.Le rooms are a bit 'noisy and the bed a bit' too soft. Good breakfast with small always warm croissants. I can say I spent a good stay. I'll take into account for other possible trips to Paris

It is across the street from the metro and the Gare Austerlitz Train Station. Two blocks away is the Seine River walk and you can follow this as far as...

Lovely hotel, reasonably priced. Had a well appointed room that made the best use of the space available. Comfortable bed, tea making facilities, TV and free wifi. Buffet style breakfast each day consistent of the typical French diet. Two downsides however. Firstly, you can hear the conversation of your neighbour word for word, more so if their voices carry. I...

If being near Gare d'Austerlitz is important for arrival or departure, this hotel is a good choice. Room was nothing special but fine and clean; breakfast was adequate. Very close to the museum of natural history, the Paris zoo, and the beautiful gardens around them; peaceful to walk around. Literally steps from the train station and the Austerlitz metro station....

Small room was very small (especially the shower), but fine for one person. Hotel is literally just above the Metro. Not many shops nearby, though. Wifi was very slow. Staff was friendly and can communicate fine in English.

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
