This is a very well-located hotel in the 1st arrondissement and also surrounded by many other small hotels in the area. Its on a busy street but has easy access to many Right Bank areas for meetings or tourist visits. I have stayed here over the years and it has fallen into disrepair. The rooms, public areas (especially the hallways and lifts) are in very poor condition. The hotel needs to be completely renovated as the rooms are large and comfortable, just not in good nic. At over 500EUR/night, this hotel is not worth the expense. I will add that the staff at the front desk is so welcoming and accommodating. They are delightful but that doesn’t outweigh the shabby overall condition of the hotel.

We have just returned from this hotel. Last year we also were told there was a flood and moved to another hotel. I booked this hotel again this year and 2 days before we travelled I came across your review page regarding said hotel. I was disgusted to read of the excuses given to paying customers. We were obviously concerned the same thing was going to happen again. Thanks to these reviews I was aware of there practices. I rang the hotel to warn them I knew of there scam practices and named all of the excuses they had given people I also warned them that we would not be moved to any other hotel. They assured me that we would not be. I also rang the agency in Paris and also warned them we were not prepared to be moved anywhere we had paid for that hotel and that is where we will be staying. They rang the hotel also and were assured by them that we would not be asked to move. We did stay at this hotel in fact a large vase of flowers and a welcoming card were awaiting us in our room. We did have an enjoyable stay there but we observed people were been moved from this hotel during our 4 day stay. Reading these reviews informed us of the appaling practice that this hotel engages in and we fortunately we were able to make them very aware that we knew and would not be treated in this way again. I am sorry other people had there stay spoiled by there experience. I hope this infomation helps others in the future.

This is the most charming hotel and such a secret gem of Paris. We had needed to book 5 different rooms and they have gone above and beyond in every way to accommodate special requests, add extra rooms, and just have given a 5 star level of service. They are super responsive, and just have an incredible reservation team who make everything happen. This is a place you'll want to tell everyone about, but then again, you don't, because you don't want it to be booked out! Stay here. You won't regret it.

We spent a wonderful weekend at this Pension ideally located in the heart of Paris. Upon arrival, we were greeted by warm, smiling staff and always ready to help us. The service is impeccable and attentive, which really made our stay pleasant.
The rooms are very comfortable, well maintained, and impeccable cleanliness, perfect for resting after a day of sightseeing in the capital. Special mention for the breakfast buffet, complete and varied, with a large selection of fresh products that will delight all tastes.

Charming and well situated, the hotel was a perfect base of operations for our walking adventures in Paris which included the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay, and walking along the Seine to find our next great meal. The staff were accommodating and extremely polite, even offering us helpful pronunciations for common terms like please, thank you, good day, good evening, and so on. Quiet and cozy, I loved this little hotel. Our stay was six nights.

This was our first stop on foreign soil on a multi leg journey and it did not disappoint. From a very welcoming greeting on arrival to a lovely room, central location and accommodating staff on all levels, it was a pleasure to stay. Walk out of the door and you are immediately in the thick of Paris. Nowhere is that far and most things are near. The young man on the desk could not have been more helpful and was pleasant beyond the call of duty. The room is what I would call oldy worldly, if you want glass and glitz and all singing, this may not be for you, if you want class and functionality then I would go.
