We stayed here for Christmas Eve 2019. The hotel is very chic and clean. We stayed in one of the suites with the rooftop patio, although not very useful in December it was till really cool. We had views of the Eiffel Tower which was amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if we're ever back in Paris.
We made a last minute decision to come to Paris not knowing if we would return to fourteen days quarantine. In the event none transpired and we were rewarded with six lovely nights in one of the finest Hilton hotels we have ever stayed in. Day after day temperates close to 40° and the necessity of wearing a mask almost everywhere would not usually promise a great holiday but, thanks to the fantastic staff at The Maison Astor, that is what we had. There is no detail overlooked in making the guest feel comfortable, from the priceless air conditioning, the spotless rooms and public area to the stunning breakfast. We were made to feel special and hope to return in more normal circumstances. A big thank you to you all.
I am a Hilton lifetime Diamond member and so tend to stay in a lot of Hilton hotels. The hotel emailed me a few days before I was due to arrive and asked what time I'd be arriving. I replied immediately with my estimated arrival time. I arrived at the hotel at the time I said I would only to be told by the receptionist to wait until he'd finished his phone call then I was told to sit in reception for 15 minutes as I was too early for check-in. While I was waiting, a German couple arrived, they were thanked for being Diamond members (I wasn't thanked or acknowledged) informing the hotel what time they'd be arriving and that their room was ready. When I eventually saw my room it was not exactly the junior suite I thought I'd booked. The junior suite was more like a deluxe double. Breakfast was pretty poor too but food in the bar was quite nice. Overall, the hotel's in a nice, central location but it's more like a three star not a four.…
We stopped here on our journey back to the UK from further south and loved the roof top suite. Amazing views across Paris and breakfast on the terrace was amazing. A bit of a shame their were no robes in the room and it is suggested the soft drinks in the mini bar were free (2 things kids love!) but we only had water. I'm not sure if this was the case as we book on points? Would recommend if you need a room for 4 (or 5 with a little one).
Room 709 is the roof top suite with one of the best view of Paris ! Very closed to Champs Élysées, Designers street, grands magasins, Louvre !!! You have it all walking distance. The suite is very good - perfect for a family of 4 ! Highly recommended !
