There are so many hotels to choose from. But after some research, location, price etc we decided to stay hee or 3 nights. Location was great for us and having a metro stop nearby is always important for us. We had caught a early morning flight so when we arrived at the hotel our room wasn't quite ready. Not an issue though, we still checked in, and the hotel staff looked after our bags. When we arrived back in the evening we got our room keys and headed on up to the room. Our bags had already been taken to our room for us which was great. Entering the room there was a short corridor that led to the bathroom and to the bedroom. The corridor had the mini bar, safe, and some shelving. The mini bar was complimentary which has some soft drinks, water and orange juice in it, and was restocked once a day. Bathroom was a good size. clean and nice relaxing decor. The bath and shower was good. Slight issue with the shower screen seal not providing a 100% seal and water was leaking past it onto the floor though. Bath robes for us which was great. There was also a variety of toiletries including a little scrub which was nice. Bedroom was a good size, clean and simple decor. the high ceiling were great and roomy. Bed was huge and comfortable. There was a coffee machine and kettle with tea and coffee. We found our tea and coffee was not replaced and restocked at all throughout our stay which was a bit poor. Air conditioning. This only worked in the summer, so we had to leave our windows open to get some cool air in at night as the room was on the warm side for us. WIFI: wifi was available and free. Breakfast: After our first night we headed down for breakfast just before 10am. When we arrived in the breakfast area, it was actually very small and all the tables were full, or had not been cleaned. We stood by a dirty table for several minutes waiting for staff to come to us, but they just ignored us and walked on by. First impressions count and breakfast service was rubbish. We were actually shocked. Eventually someone came and cleaned the table so we could sit down. We asked for tea and coffee and the lady went and got these for us, but when we brought the pots over, she didn't give us any cups at all. We waited a bit longer thinking she would return, but no. No cips at all. We ended up getting some paper cups to drink out of. Food: Well, there wasn't really much. Really poor breakfast selection. Hot items were all empty. No boiled eggs, half of all the cold items had gone. There was no restocking of the food or even asked if there was anything we would like so they could cook it or get it. In fact the attitude of the staff was seriously poor, like they were put out that we had come to breakfast. Some other guests arrived after us and had the same issues. Even they got a disgusted look when they asked if there were any more boiled eggs. We ended up sitting down with hot drinks out of a paper cup and a pastry. No excellently the breakfast we were hoping for. The lady eventually came out with some scrambled egg but nothing else. What good is that? We left and informed the reception staff of our disgust with the service, but the receptionist didn't seem to bother much about it. When we left for the morning on the way out, one of the managers came to us and stated he overheard what was said and apologised for the poor service and that was not what the hotel expected from staff at all, and that he would be writing a report to him manager about it. He was actually very pleasant and apologetic about it all which was nice. It seriously was a bad first impression of the hotel after that breakfast experience. The rest of the stay at the hotel, ie bedroom was fine. The breakfast service still wasn't any better. The food selection was pretty poor and the hot choices were very poor. When staff have an attitude and refuse to even cook up some boiled eggs, you know some seriously needs to improve here, because of the breakfast service i certainly will not be returning to this hotel until the staff in there change/improve and the food matches the quality of the hotel. It's meant to be a 4 star hotel, yet i'd get better breakfast service and food at a budget motorway hotel. That said, after breakfast closes, during the day there is free cold and hot drinks and snacks for you to help yourself too. Good: Location, Room, Manager we spoke to. Some reception staff. Poor: Breakfast. Breakfast staff. The receptionist that dealt with our breakfast complaint.…
Great place to stay in Paris. Close to many great attractions. The rooms are well designed and very accommodating. Peter is amazing and has put together a wonderful team of staff. I would highly recommend staying here. I travel to Paris every 2 months for 2 weeks, and I always stay at Hotel Le 123 Elysees from Astotel.
Not having stayed in Paris for a few years and with memories of cramped rooms with thin walls I was so happy with this choice. A bright airy double room with a (small) balcony, very clean and fresh. Check in was easy with friendly staff. A real bonus is the free minibar (just water and soft drinks but replenished during stay) as well as a free open bar downstairs from 14.00 onwards. Again no alcohol but snacks and drinks so somewhere nice to sit and have a coffee, read a book, or check emails when it’s pouring with rain or when you come back for a short break after sightseeing. It’s not a luxury hotel but really nice and convenient, steps from the metro (St Philippe du Roule) and a short walk to the Champs. And if you’re desperate there is a Starbucks right opposite. I’ll definitely come back or try one if the other hotels in the group. …
