Hotel is difficult to locate as it is gated and set back from the street. Rooms are adequate. Refrigerator is not really a refrigerator it is a cooler in which you may put ice, if you can find it. Breakfast is continental and not bad. Near a very questionable area of Paris near the Moulin Rouge. There are sex aid shops everywhere. Not for families! Very close to the Metro.

The location of the hotel is very close to the blanche metro and Pigalle metro station. Easy to get around in Paris. The area has many restaurants and bakeries and the montemarte area is good to walk around. There are some adult entertainment shops on one side of the street, but you can avoid that by going in the opposite direction. We stayed in the junior suite, a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 teenage kids. There was enough room for everyone. The bathroom is very spacious and clean actually a lot bigger that expected. The toilet is not inside the bathroom but in small separate area next to the bathroom. There are 2 rooms, one with a double sofa bed and the other main room with 2 double beds tv and a closet plus 2 chairs and table. The hotel staff are courteous and helpful. The only complaint would be the Wifi, was slow most of the time, needs to be improved. Both rooms had temperature control. There is desk with Nespresso maker and hot water kettle. Also a mini referigerator. No coffee maker, they do provide instant nescafe sachets and sugar and cream. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

Our flight into Paris got in at 6am. Traveling with my wife, a 15 year old, and 12 year old was tough to say the least, but the front desk staff actually got us in our room right when we go there! An absolute lifesaver. Our room was spacious and perfect for four of us. I could not have asked for much better!

So I stayed at this hotel during the bank holiday and have to say the staff are absolutely incredible - Padma especially was so helpful and assisted with our various queries in the most professional manner :) The location of the hotel is also a plus- it is in the heart of pigalle yet the set back hotel with guarded gates gives that element of security and a quieter setting :D You’re minutes away from cool restaurants, the moulin rouge and pubs/ bars and also Blanche metro / Pigalle metro station which takes you to key attractions in Paris! Definitely recommend !

First and foremost, what a surprise it was to stay at Tim Hotel in the Montmartre area of France. The stay was enhanced by the special kindness and professionalism of Mr. Nazir, Mr. Badr, and Ms. Padma. They are true examples of HOSPITALITY. They made mine and my 2 nieces stay safe and comfortable. Thank you !!! This place should be on your short list while searching for hotels/apartments in Paris. The rooms are larger than the standard hotel rooms that I've come across in Europe, and especially when on a budget. My nieces shared a room, and there was enough space in their room to spread out, and not impose on each other's space. My bed was large and would be comfortable for 2 people to sleep together. In my room, as well as my nieces' room, there were 2 sitting chairs, and a table - that should give you an idea of the space in the room. There was a closet for hanging clothes that included a safe. What I especially liked about the layout of the room, when you walk into the hotel room, there is a bit of a small hallway that leads into the sleeping part. The bathroom is removed from view of the main sleeping area. The bathroom is off to the side as you enter the room. I like that, especially if you're sharing a room, and don't want to see someone coming in an out of the bathroom - so, there's a bit of privacy. The bathroom was updated, clean, spacious, and with good lighting (hairdryer, amenities, and a magnified mirror includeds). Caution/Concerns: while I would stay at this hotel over and over again, it may not be for everyone. Here are some considerations: 1. The hotel is about a 1/2 block from the Moulin Rouge. There's lots of activity in that immediate area. Also, there are a lot of adult entertainment establishments including adult sex toy stores. So, if you have children, this is something to consider. We didn't come into the area in the evening, and instead, we found going in the opposite direction was more pleasant, and very pedestrian friendly. In doing so, we found a great place for breakfast, and a couple of really good restaurants for dinner. 2. The bathtub shower combination may not be good for elderly or persons with disabilities. The bathtub is deep and very good for soaking after a very long day. I'm sure that if you chose this hotel, you might want to ask for a walk-in shower. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as we found many suitable options nearby -- including a Starbucks around the corner. Also, the place is very secure in the evening. The hotel is situated aways back from the street. In the evening, you need a passcode to get through the locked gates. There was always someone at the front desk. There are many mini-stores and eateries along the same block. Also, a pharmacy around the corner. Another reason you should consider this hotel is the proximity to public transportation. There is a metro stop (Blanche) around the corner that will navigate you many destinations in Paris. Oh, television: yes - a fairly large flat screen. However, a few English speaking channels - such as CNN and Jimmy Fallon early in the morning. Perhaps management might consider a couple of movie channel for us folks who don't stay out late? Thank you again TimHotel -- you are the BEST ! ! !
