The hotel is located in a great location. A few steps from the Moulin Rouge but at the same time it is quiet. Perfect for getting lost in the streets of Monmartre or ending each day at the Sacre Couer and the views and life it offers. Very well connected by bus to the Louvre Museum or the Eiffel Tower. The walk to the Le Marais area is very pleasant. In the area there are many places to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at reasonable prices, without paying the tourist fee.
The room was very spacious, clean, and in very good condition.
All hotel staff super nice.
You can leave your luggage on the day of check out and pick it up again when you need it.

Paris is beautiful and well organized. This hotel is located in a great location, close to the metro station (you can easily reach all other areas), the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre; as soon as you leave supermarkets, restaurants, bars, and we Italians like this. I don't know the standard of the city but I believe that with some small aesthetic changes it could satisfy even the most demanding customers, given that with kindness, comfort and services it is already top

We found this wonderful place after Hotel des Arts Montmartre cancelled our booking last minute without notice. That turned out to be our luck.
Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at in Paris the room and bathroom at Timotel Opera Blanche Fontaine felt quite spacious.
The breakfast had pancakes, croissants, pain au chocolate, yogurt, fruits, scrambled egg, bacon. Basically, it has most things you’d expect to find in a classic breakfast buffet.
In general the staff were friendly and hospitable.
There were only a few minuses:
*We had a late breakfast on the first morning of our stay. Suddenly, the staff switched of the light in the breakfast area, so make sure to go there in time.
*The only elevator in the hotel is tiny. It barely has enough room for one adult and two large trolleys. Also, you’ll have to be prepared to wait for it to arrive.
The are minor things but worth mentioning. All in all, I recommend this place, and I’d love to stay here again.

Dear KarenHjort, the relocation from the hotel des Arts was also our luck, since it allowed us to welcome you, and it seems it was a success for both parties. We are glad that you had a great stay with us, and we are grateful to you for wiriting this great review. You particularly appreciated the spacious rooms and the full breakfast. We are sorry for abruptly turning off the lights at the end of the breakfast time : this was rude and the only explanation could be that the staff either did not notice you were there or thought you were finished. Either way, we apologize about it. This minor hindrance did not prevent you from having a great time, we are happy about it. Looking forward to welcoming you again next time,

I don't know where the 4 stars come from...insufficient facilities, practically a one-person elevator, stairs at the entrance, many architectural barriers..., the entrance looks like you're in a suburb...we travel with children and a baby stroller...the car doesn't fit in the elevator...it goes up and down stairs...
The breakfast is a shame...they take out the little they put in by the drop...three croissants, two strips of bacon...
In the rooms you can hear the train, the noise of the heating...horrible come on...

Walls so thin you’re basically sharing a room with others! Their tv wasn’t even loud but it was like you were there with them.. but the best part was at check in, to be told we were booked in for breakfast.. lovely.. but on check out we were told it would be €68 because our breakfast wasn’t included! So we questioned and the lady said “well I can’t believe you or believe my coworker” then she very very kindly reduced it to €12 each and we were made to pay €48. We wouldn’t of minded if the breakfast was half decent! Tv wouldn’t work. Elevator would work only when it wanted to!

Dear Sione, it seems the hotel was not entirely up to your standard, and for that we are sorry. The reservations are sometimes booked with or without breakfast included, but it is clearly indicated on them and it seems odd that you were surprised one way or the other as you shoud have been aware of it. We apologize anyway about the misundersanding, and we hope you had a nice stay in Paris nevertheless,

This hotel experience has been nothing short of appalling. For reasons beyond my control, I was unable to travel, and I promptly contacted the hotel's reception to cancel my booking. It's important to note that the booking I made was indeed cancelable. I provided them with my booking reference and was assured that the cancellation would be processed. However, to my dismay, a few days later, I discovered that I had been charged for the booking, indicating that the hotel had not been canceled as promised.
Despite my numerous attempts to rectify the situation by reaching out to the hotel, I was met with unresponsiveness. Their staff claimed it was unlikely that they could even find a record of my call or process the cancellation. This resulted in an unnecessary charge for a hotel stay I didn't utilize, leaving me thoroughly dissatisfied with the entire experience.

Dear Sir As we had the opportunity to explain to you by mail, your reservation had been booked through a third party. When a reservation is booked in writing, and particularly when it involves a third party, the amendements and/or cancellations are to be done in the same way : : any amendements or cancellation of this reservation should therefore have been dealt directly with this third party. It is highly unlikely that anyone who you may have spoken to at the hotel, would tell you differently. You claim you spoke to someone but you seem not to have remembered his or her name, as you never mentioned it. Phone calls are indeed untraceable, but for this very reason and as a general rule, we never cancel a booking without a written request, especially for a reservation coming from a third party. If we did not so, anyone could call and cancel any booking, yours for instance, and you would be annoyed, and rightly so, if you showed up and were told that “your booking was cancelled by a phone call” On check in date, we had had no written evidence that the reservation had been cancelled, therefore it has been charged as per the conditions of sales, and notified to the the third party involved. We can only regret that you did not send an email at the time, as you profusely have been doing since: there would not be any issue about the whole matter. Your "numerous attempts to rectify the situation by reaching out to the hotel" were unfortunately all made well after the notification that the no show had been charged. We are sorry you feel dissatisfied about this matter, but all has been dealt with professionally,

The hotel was clean and very cosy for a city hotel, yet rooms were quite spacious, especially for a hotel in a capital. Breakfast was very good and fresh, continental style with scrambled eggs and bacon too, choices of juices and different teas, very fresh bread and pastries, cheese and jams etc. The room was kept clean and smelt lovely when we arrived, but we took off one star because the rooms were starting to show some signs of wear and tear, however we would return to this hotel again, for sure. A special big Thank You to Ahmed who was very pleasant and welcoming on both our first and last day. We also saw the manager Arnauld on our last day, he seemed very nice and approachable too. Merci beaucoup for a perfect stay on our special celebratory Paris trip!

The hotel has a plaque with 4 stars outside the front door, in my humble opinion, thats where the 4 stars stop.
Look, this hotel is very clean, despite being in a very busy district it is remarkably quiet and the beds are outstandingly comfortable so if you want clean, quiet and comfortable then thats exactly what you get.
The staff were all very pleasant.
So here are the negatives, a plastic bag with paper cups and 1 sachet of coffee, complamentry water on the first day but its never replaced, a fridge to keep whatever cool but no glass to drink it from, so you know there is no bar but the reality is, the hotel has no heart or soul.
The photos of the hotel are genuinely representative of the hotel but how do you capture atmosphere in a picture, that doesn’t matter because there isn’t any.

Dear ScottishMark999, we thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on Tripadvisor. We understand that, objectively, you were satisfied with the amenities of the hotel, rooms and staff, and that yo had a comfortable stay with us, for which we are glad. As for the things you disliked, we have been keeping some of the Covid procedures, as the tea and coffee making facilities in a closed bag, and paper cups instead of glasses. This being said, the stuff should have been replenished every day, for this we apologize. The 4 stars certfication has been granted according to objective rules, and the hotel qualified for it. We understand you did not feel it was worth it. The lack of atmosphere you mention you felt maybe one of the reasons of the way you felt about the stars. We are sorry about it. We hope you were able to enjoy your stay reasonably though,

The walls are so thin. My neighbour had the TV on all night, so I couldn’t sleep. Felt horrible for my entire trip to Paris as was so tired. I could also hear an argument in another room at one point.
Also I was told I had breakfast included on my arrival (my partner and I both heard this), which turned out to be untrue. They would not accept this, and ended up charging me 48 Euro.
Watch out for this, as I have a feeling this could be a way to scam people out of a few extra euros?
Also not much selection for breakfast.
Lift isn’t fit for purpose. Can’t fit much in it and felt it was going to break down, so used stairs instead.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel. The staff were very accommodating my flight arrived early and I was able to check in before 2pm. The hotel smelt great and is very clean. I booked a superior twin room which was very spacious and the cleaners did an excellent job. The hotel close to the metro and all attractions are not far. I would definitely stay here again.

My advice book a taxi as I did. Didnt get the metro to hotel. 🙂
The check-in time is 2 pm. You can email the hotel to ask if you can check in early. I had emailed them and they said they can let us keep our bags if we arrive early. We ended up getting delayed so our room was ready.
Hi. Probably a little late to reply (I have not been on TA for quite some time) but the reverse air a/cons did not work very well at all whilst we were there in winter.
In total we rented 4 rooms and 3 of the 4 had issues. Management was not interested in the this problem or any of the others experienced whilst staying there.
There was a minibar in the room but it was not stocked and we did not ask it to be stocked. Sorry we cannot be more helpful but you could phone the hotel direct and ask them about the minibar.
Use Taxify because Uber is much more expensive
