Some hotels just feel good. And this was one of them. A cute little room with white bed linen on comfy beds, with a dinky refitted bathroom and a pleasant street view. Yes, this was noisy, but why stay in Paris if you don't like...More
We booked this hotel because it was cheap and centrally located. All the other reviews I had read were negative but we decided to take our chances.

The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in
another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.

They are no smoking rooms. But I smell someone was smoking in the room next to me and the hotel staff seems to be alright. The best part of being in hotel marena is that there is a TABAC (only shop where you can buy cigarettes) next door. Also staff is very friendly. Great thing is that Breakfast is included in the stay.
