We stayed at Melia Vendome during July and August of 2022. The hotel is located on the famous street of Cambon, where all the designer stores have boutiques in matter of 10 mins walk. Not to mention that it is right next to Rivoli street that leads you to Louvre and so many other attractions. Hotel has excellent staff. I can't tell enough about how friendly and attentive the receptionists along with their managers are. The restaurant within the hotel has a nice buffet for breakfast that works for guests who like to have a big breakfast but I usually prefer to grab a quick breakfast form the surrounding cafes. There is a small bar at the lobby that is nice to stop by at the end of the night and have a quick tea or a drink. The rooms are just fine, little update would go a long way but for the price we paid it was just fine. Overall I loved my stay at Melia Vendome the only thing that disturb me was that I forgot one item in the room and 2 days after my check out I contacted the hotel and gave the description of the piece I left behind. I knew I left it in the room no doubt about it but unfortunately each time I called they said that they mentioned the lost item to the housekeeping and they are waiting to hear back. After 2 weeks of wait and series of phone calls and email I realized that they do not have any answer for me. So basically my item was taken away and it was never found. I understand that it was my fault in first place that I left something behind but it is also disturbing to know that a housekeeping personnel took that item and never turned it in to lost and found. Be careful of your belongings hopefully this doesn't have to happen again.…
We enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel with larger rooms (for Paris), roomy and beautiful bathroom, and a central but quiet location. This hotel is near Place de la Concorde and the Tuileries Gardens, and not far from the Louvre in a posh neighborhood. The staff were very helpful and I enjoyed all the options and fresh fruit and coffee at breakfast. We will likely stay again!
Good value, very good location, unfortunately windows doesnt really isolate the street noise, rooms have no view, management dont really care about Melia Platinum members which is not something i liked, loyalty to a brand should be highly valued and encouraged.
Very central location near to the metro and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was nice and comfortable. The breakfast was a full and complete meal and very attentive staff. Highly recommend this hotel.
The hotel is cute and cozy but the service is superior. Paul the manager is amazing and on top of everything, he personally assisted us everyday and made sure everything was always perfect. Also, the location is perfect
Very nice stay. Best part was the lovely breakfast with a huge serve yourself menu with everything! Breakfast is optional but I would highly recommend adding it. I would also suggest to upgrade your room as the basic rooms are very small with a twin bed. We travelled for work and the hotel had a nice lobby area where we could meet up and work. Staff was very helpful. My only small complaint was that the air conditioning didn’t seem to have been “turned on” as it was still March. On the lower floors it was still cool, but the higher floors got stuffy at night. The staff answer to this was to open my windows but outside was pretty loud. Hotel is in a great central location- in the Gucci, Diore shopping area with all of the expensive designer stores but walkable to most everything.…
On four separate occasions my key card failed to work. I wasted about 30mins in total trying to sort it out. My friend had a similar issue. Get this sorted! Otherwise room fine. Location is nice. Shame.
Friendly and helpful staff. A perfect location if you come to paris for shop because it located on the corner of most luxury shop in Paris. Metro station Concorde only 3 min walk. The room price for this location is just excellent.
This place has been renovated some time ago. And in some details the slow wear and tear of time shows itself slightly on small details but the overall look and feel of the hotel and the rooms themselves are still very good. The rooms are well appointed, they offer various size rooms perfect for couples or family visits. The cleaning staff are good but sometimes forget some items like three sets of towels for a family with child. Little details that slightly reduce from an outstanding rating. The breakfast is pretty good with a descent selection of breakfast food choices. The fresh egg station helps with the only negative is that it is not always the same cook and the cook quality does vary. The number may selling point is an excellent location close to many conveniences such as easy access to the metro, many shops and restaurants and central location means one is quick to many arts of Paris. This outstanding location comes also with a very fair and not expensive price for the location and room quality on can get in Paris giving it a great value for money score.…
Overall restaurant service was really good. Ronald's service was way better than expected. Would recommend him to anybody that would love to try this place out. Will be visiting this place in the very near future.
