Hotel's Favorite
It's really a hidden gem hotel. This hotel location is superb. It is in the center of shopping center with all the high end stores. Shop until you drop. A lot of restaurants are in walking distance. It is also close to museum and park. It's very convenient. The hotel itself is a very classic style building. It's not like high rise modern hotel. We like this hotel a lot. Our room is the corner room with king bed with 3 old style big windows with flowers. The carpet of the room is a bit old, but it's fine with us. Bath room is average with old and decorated tiles floor. The breakfast in the hotel is delicious with a lot of variety. There is also have a hot station so the chef will make you eggs the way you like. The receptionists and Marc (the door man) are very nice, and cheerful as well as all of the personnel in the restaurant. We definitely stay here again when we come back to Paris.

I have just returned from a three night break here to celebrate my silver wedding anniversary. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and will go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. We booked a 'Grand Premium Room' and it was lovely; in traditional decor, it was positoned on a corner with numerous large windows, overlooking the Rue Cambon and the Rue du Mont Thabor and was very light and airy. Housekeeping is excellent and everything was very clean.
The staff on reception was lovely and a special mention to Antoine with whom we had most contact and who arranged for sparkling wine to be delivered to our room as an anniversary gift from the hotel. The gentleman (sorry, I don't know his name). who took our breakfast orders was also very efficient.
The hotel has put a number of Covid 19 measures in place including a one way system and lots of hand sanitiser. Rooms are left empty inbetween guests so we were able to leave our cases in our room and return there three hours after the official checkout, which was very useful. Breakfast is currently being delivered to the bedrooms instead of being served in a dining room. Clients choose a half hour time slot and then select a hot drink, fruit juice and jam and yogurt flavours. It comes with ham, cheese and a small croissant, pain au chocolat and bread roll. We liked this arrangement because it meant we were able to eat first and get ready in our own time but there didn;t appear to be a vegetarian or vegan option. It is also worth noting that due to the current Covid 19 restrictions, there is no Nespresso maker or drink making facilities in the room and no bath robes or slippers. Our bathroom did contain shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap and hand/body lotion from the Rituals brand.
We really enjoyed our stay here and didn't want to leave. As other reviewers have already mentioned, the location is great - it's very central and convenient for the Roissybus. I have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and would like to thank the staff for making our holiday so special.

My daughter and I spent a full week at this lovely hotel. Front desk was incredibly friendly and most helpful, staff was also very friendly. Our room was on the second floor (corner one) with a small but really lovely bathroom with wonderful body lotion, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand soap products (not mini sizes but full ones).
Breakfast was very nice, not your typical or average "continental breakfast", I truly enjoyed it. We had dinner a couple of times and it was really delicious. Overall the hotel is a little jewel nestled in the heart of the luxury shopping area, which made shopping easier for us.
I absolutely recommend this hotel, its worth it.

This hotel has a wonderful location near the Louvre. The staff spoke good English and were very helpful. We were there during some of the Yellow Vest demonstrations, which caused an issue with getting a taxi to the airport. However, the staff went to the end of the block, spoke to the policeman who was standing there and the taxi was allowed to pass. The Metro was within an easy walk. There were restaurants and shops nearby, some of which are quite pricey - Dior, Chanel, etc. The room was not large but it had a microwave, an in-room safe, and a good sized bathroom. The elevator was the size of a postage stamp and had difficulty accommodating two people with suitcases but we managed. We were towards the fron of the hotel, so we had some street noise if we opened the window. The only down-side was the temperature. As some other reviews have said, it was hot and the thermostat didn't seem to regulate the temperature. Breakfast is offered daily but we were able to find it nearby at a greatly reduced price. We would definitely go back to this hotel for the service, the price and the location.

This place has been renovated some time ago. And in some details the slow wear and tear of time shows itself slightly on small details but the overall look and feel of the hotel and the rooms themselves are still very good. The rooms are well appointed, they offer various size rooms perfect for couples or family visits. The cleaning staff are good but sometimes forget some items like three sets of towels for a family with child. Little details that slightly reduce from an outstanding rating. The breakfast is pretty good with a descent selection of breakfast food choices. The fresh egg station helps with the only negative is that it is not always the same cook and the cook quality does vary. The number may selling point is an excellent location close to many conveniences such as easy access to the metro, many shops and restaurants and central location means one is quick to many arts of Paris. This outstanding location comes also with a very fair and not expensive price for the location and room quality on can get in Paris giving it a great value for money score.

Some hits first. The location is good with lots of high end shops nearby and many attractions in walking distance. The bar staff are friendly and the bar is a pleasant place to sit and chat. There is a kettle and tea and coffee in the room, free wifi and good powerpoints.
The misses. The air conditioning is either a steam bath or off. The heated towel rail didn’t work. My room was badly designed, particularly the wardrobe which was almost unusable and the safe was too hard to access. The room key system is unreliable and my key didn’t work most of the time .Breakfast is a complete shambles.
The staff rush around but do nothing useful. The omelette lady appears very infrequently and often not at all. The range of offerings is only adequate. They need to lift their game.
One day the hot water to the rooms didn’t work, although after I suggested it, they did provide an apology and a tin of nuts and a bottle of coke.

Overall our experience was very good. There were a few minor glitches however. My wife and I stayed for our 25th anniversary. After arriving we paid extra to upgrade our room. While the room was bigger, it faced into the air shaft in the center and had noise from the elevator. Not particularly romantic. We asked for a new room the next day and were given a room facing front on the top floor, which was much better. I wish we could have had that from the start but was glad to get it for part of the stay.
I think the hotel does need a dedicated concierge to help with guest needs and requests. It would be helpful for transportation to the airport, for day trips and other information.

Dear Tour04026694913, First of all we would like to thank you, in the name of the entire team for choosing us for your 25th wedding anniversary. We hope you liked the attentions your received in your room for this special occasion. Many thanks for your feedback which gives us the opportunity to improve our service and give our guests the best experience in Paris. We are glad you enjoyed the change your room. We would have loved giving this or any other room facing the street from the very first day but we were fully booked as we explained. Concerning the concierge and transportation help, it is true that due to the strike, we've had some difficult times booking airport shuttles as most services are saturated. Do not hesitate to contact us directly for your 30th anniversary. We'd be glad to surprise you. Best regards,

We had booked two premium rooms for ourselves and our two tween girls through our Costco package, with specific request for joining rooms. They were able to accommodate this, and had us in a pair of rooms on the top floor, connected by a shared living space with a couch and round table for four. There was a nice welcome note along with some complimentary macarons and juice in greeting.
We went during our American spring break, and arrived on a morning flight. The rooms were not available for us then, but they were able to hold our luggage while we went to get some lunch and explore the nearby areas. By the time we returned, they had already bought our luggage up to our adjoining rooms.
It was unseasonably warm in the mid 60Fs on the day of our arrival and fairly warm in the rooms, even after opening all the windows. The rooms did have heat, but did not appear to have air-conditioning. The hotel staff came to check on us maybe 30 minutes after we arrived to the room to see how we were settling in, and we were able to ask for a couple of fans at that time, which did help. The weather for remainder of our stay was cooler in the mid 40s to 50s, and the room temperature was pleasant with occasionally opening the windows with no further need for the fans after that first day. I can see how at least these top floor rooms can be really warm in the summer.
The included breakfast variety was moderate size, and my kids loved their croissants and pains au chocolat every morning. In addition to a variety of juices along with champagne, they had a couple of instant espresso machines. Staff was very accommodating when we asked for soy, asking even if we wanted it warmed or cold, to have with our espresso. There was one morning when we were running behind for a tour and didn’t have time to sit for breakfast, and they were kind enough to give us a bag of takeaway croissants for everyone when we just wanted to make sure the kids got something.
Great location for the hotel. If we were being ambitious, could walk to many sites within 15 to 20 minutes, including the Louvre, Arc de Triomphé via champs d’Élysée, Tuilleries gardens and musée d’Orsay. Metro station across the street and RER C station (Invalides) to the to Versailles was one stop away. As there were some chilly and rainy days, we did use Uber, which had no problem finding our location for pick up and drop off.
Many food options nearby, we loved and ate at a small bistro Le Florentin twice. The front desk staff also was able to get us reservations for Le Capucine and recommended Flottes. A Pierre Hermé, Ladurée and Angelina were all within two blocks, so we definitely got to try plenty of sweet treats! We also found an express supermarket (Monop) to pick up some snacks, fruit and drinks.
Very nice staff, great location, would certainly recommend to family and friends and return for any future visits to Paris!

Dear Cindyck, Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We're delighted to hear our team could accommodate your family's request for adjoining rooms, providing a comfortable shared space for your enjoyment. It is our pleasure to offer a warm welcome, and we're glad the complimentary macarons and juice added a sweet touch to your arrival. Our location indeed makes for an ideal base to explore the Parisian splendors, and we're thrilled it contributed to your family's adventure. We regret to hear about the warmth in the rooms upon your arrival; please rest assured that while our hotel features individually controlled heating, the air conditioning system is centralized and available in all rooms for the comfort of our guests throughout the warmer seasons. We appreciate your understanding and are glad that the fans provided were helpful. Your kind words regarding our breakfast selection and the accommodating nature of our staff have been received with much joy. It is heartening to know that our efforts to cater to dietary preferences and provide a memorable gastronomic experience are appreciated. Your recommendation is the highest praise we could hope for, and we are eager to welcome your family and friends in the future. All of the team hope that we may be able to see you again in the future. Kindest regards, Pedro Almeida, Hotel Manager

We stayed at Melia Vendome during July and August of 2022. The hotel is located on the famous street of Cambon, where all the designer stores have boutiques in matter of 10 mins walk. Not to mention that it is right next to Rivoli street that leads you to Louvre and so many other attractions. Hotel has excellent staff. I can't tell enough about how friendly and attentive the receptionists along with their managers are. The restaurant within the hotel has a nice buffet for breakfast that works for guests who like to have a big breakfast but I usually prefer to grab a quick breakfast form the surrounding cafes. There is a small bar at the lobby that is nice to stop by at the end of the night and have a quick tea or a drink. The rooms are just fine, little update would go a long way but for the price we paid it was just fine. Overall I loved my stay at Melia Vendome the only thing that disturb me was that I forgot one item in the room and 2 days after my check out I contacted the hotel and gave the description of the piece I left behind. I knew I left it in the room no doubt about it but unfortunately each time I called they said that they mentioned the lost item to the housekeeping and they are waiting to hear back. After 2 weeks of wait and series of phone calls and email I realized that they do not have any answer for me. So basically my item was taken away and it was never found. I understand that it was my fault in first place that I left something behind but it is also disturbing to know that a housekeeping personnel took that item and never turned it in to lost and found. Be careful of your belongings hopefully this doesn't have to happen again.

My stay at the Melia Vendôme hotel has exceeded all my expectations.
It is a hotel known for having one of the best locations in the center of Paris, but I would like to say that this is not only the best; The treatment and kindness of all its staff exceeds it, and by far.
It is a staff that has no trouble smiling and makes you feel comfortable at all times, taking maximum care of every detail.
I was with my family the week before Christmas. As soon as we arrived at the reception, they treated us with exquisite kindness, worrying about how our arrival had been and if we had any needs, while a bagagiste, super attentive and friendly, took our luggage to our rooms.
When we entered them, we found some nice welcome details and also, as it had been my mother's birthday (I think I mentioned it to the very kind and decisive girl at the reservations), we had a bottle of champagne and a cake in her room. room. I didn't expect the latter and we loved it!!
We had interior and exterior rooms. They were all spacious and had a large, very comfortable bed.
In addition, I have to say that the hotel has exquisite cleanliness in all its facilities.
I recommend also booking breakfast.
Having breakfast there is wonderful and everything is delicious, in addition to having attentive staff who are attentive so that you have everything at your disposal.
I would like to thank the hotel director for his exceptional management and also highlight the professionalism of all his staff, both reception, waiters, baggiste, cleaning, reservations,... You have made my stay in Paris unsurpassed.
I will never forget my family vacations and you have been part of it.
THANK YOU!!

THANK YOU!!

Dear client,
First of all thank you for choosing Hotel Melia Paris Vendome for your last stay in Paris.
Yes there is a bakery very closed to the hotel and the name is Manon. The price is very competitive and coffee and bread are pretty good.
We hope to see you again in Paris and have you in our hotel. Have a good day.
