I want to pay it forward to those who may be looking for a hotel in Paris and may read this review. I just finished a 5 nite stay at the Madison Hotel and it was an outstanding experience. Some specifics: They accomodated my request for a walk in shower/ the blow hair dryer provided was really good and not the cheap hang on the wall type/ the linens and sheets are excellent and the bed mattresses are encased in a mattress cover/free American type washer & heated dryer for use by guests/and the rooms are very quiet! The English speaking staff can't do enough for you, including their concierge Sanjay. As a woman traveling alone I felt very safe and accounted for by the staff who recognized me coming and going. All this in addition to the St Germain de Pres location which I really enjoyed. I strongly recommend Hotel Madison to all travelers! Hopefully someday I can return.…

Looking for a hotel in Paris, look no further. The Hotel Madison was highly recommended to us and after staying there for 7 nights we completely agree it's the best place to stay while visiting Paris. Location, location, location. Walking distance to hundreds of restaurant, wine bars, pubs, etc.... Also walking distance to Pantheon, NoThank Youtre Dame, Latin Quarter, Le Bon Marché department store(Oldest), and so much more. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a wide variety of choices. Rooms have been updated and include everything you'll need for your stay. Besides all of the amenities you'll enjoy you get the added bonus of the most knowledgeable Concierge, Sanjay Kayloya. Sanjay will help you plan your day, restaurants, and he even arranged getting our VIP tickets for the Palace of Versailles which included private entry and a welcome Champagne. Sanjay (Head Concierge) made our experience in Paris and at the Madison Hotel wonderful. Before we even arrived, we had been communicating for a few months. Sanjay answered every question within minutes and was extremely helpful. He helped booked all our excursions and made the entire process for us very easy. We had to make several changes and he was able to assist with all his connections. From the minute we arrived, Sanjay has been there to checking on us every day and to making sure that every moment of our stay has been enjoyable. He is true professional and gentleman. The Madison Hotel is very lucky to have someone like Sanjay on their team - he is one in a million! In addition, the hotel is lovely. My husband and I have been coming to Paris for many years and always stay in this hotel! We love the location as well as the front desk staff who are always so welcoming, especially Sophie and Johannes. A special bonus is that the hotel has a washer & dryer that you can use free of charge, terrific for people traveling for longer periods of time. They even give you the soap for the washing machine! The rooms are lovely as they've all been remodeled over the years. The neighborhood is the best as you can walk to great restaurants and shops, and/or grab a metro or bus in front of the hotel as well. We truly feel at home here and won't stay anywhere else! It's obvious others feel the same as we do, as this hotel books up quickly!

Disinterested staff. Tiny breakfast area and room. Way too expensive, added extra night for 150% ! Had to carry my own bags. Restaurant recommendation was really poor, must have been a friend of the family. Would not return or recommend, have always done better in Paris.

Unfortunately, your stay took place during the Rugby World Cup, which explains the higher price of your last 2 nights. We advise you to book in advance on our website or contact us directly for the best prices. What's more, we offer rooms of 28, 30, 40 and 50m2, which may be more suited to your needs. In fact, you were staying in a 21m2 Privilege View room, and we were fully booked at the time, so we weren't able to offer you another room. Concerning the restaurant we recommended, we will try to understand as best we can what happened so that it doesn't happen again. In any case, our only wish was to make your stay an unforgettable one, you shouldn't have felt uncomfortable during your visit to Paris and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you here again to change your mind about the Madison Hotel. We had a room on the first floor with a view of a wall. The room was fairly spacious and we loved the large shower and separate water closet. Our room was always well taken care of by housekeeping. I will tell you that we did notice the trains underground. Not enough to wake you up but we knew they were there. The staff was accommodating when we needed a few more days stay. We have stayed at this hotel at least 5 times and we stay an average of 12 days. We’ve seen a lot of new employees and a few “friends”. Sanjay, Johann, Diane, and Zaldy were very welcoming. The rest of the front desk staff needs to smile and extend warm hospitality towards guests. Just watching Sanjay should be helpful to other employees. We love the location and hope to visit again.

We stayed in a courtyard room and it was very quiet - absolutely no street noise despite being on a very busy street. The service was outstanding from checkin to checkout. The bed was comfy and updated bathroom and shower were great as well. We initially thought the breakfast was a little pricey at 25 euros per person, but the food was very good and there was a wide variety of hot and cold items. Location is great - literally steps from two different metro stops and lots of great restaurants and shops nearby. It was very pricey, although we were there during the rugby World Cup which I’m sure affected the rates. We felt it was worth the cost though on all fronts and would stay there again.

Lovely boutique hotel in great neighborhood. Walked everywhere. Tons of shops and bistros. Metro stop right across the street. Taxi stand outside. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Rooms small, but nice looking. Very clean. Nice staff, very helpful.
