This is our third stay in this Hotel: Great location and staff very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was lately refurbished and appears new and modern. Close to the metro and bus routes. Restaurants and shopping just a few steps away. We will definitely stay here again. -No kettle in the room.

The location is outstanding as it is very close to Rue Montparnasse and Rue de Rennes which are both major streets in Paris. Very close to Père Llachaise Cemetery where many famous French actors/actresses and musicians are buried, also close to Tour Montparnasse, largest building in Paris. Very centrally located over all, close to stores, boutiques, restaurants, malls, McDonalds and... More

My wife and I recently stayed at The Hotel Le Littre on our first ever visit to Paris. The hotel is conveniently located to all the major sites that we wanted to see: Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Louvre and Orsay museums, the Latin Quarter, and Notre Dame. The staff was friendly, and incredibly helpful. They were always able to... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay with the family (2 rooms), and were quite happy that they put us at the end of one hallway, with a door that allowed-us to close-off our 2 rooms from the rest of the hallway, creating something like a 2-bedroom apartment. Just the right mix of comfort, with a helpful and friendly staff (and... More

We stayed at Le Littre hotel which was centrally located for all attractions. Hotel was very clean and staff couldn't be more helpful. The Montparnasse metro was just around the corner which was cheap and easy to use. Will definitely go back.

We were 2 families travelling together. We checked in and we're happy to know that 2 out of 3 bed rooms were upgrades to suites for our 6 night stay! Hotel is close to both bus and subway, the front desk were able to provide up with bus route maps which was very useful. Plenty of restaurants closeby. Coin laundry... More

Our check in was so easy. They had a room with three twin beds for our three growing children right next to our double bedroom. With a touch of old European mixed with beautiful modern amenities, this is a wonderful hotel. They even arranged a car to pick us up at the airport. The hotel is away from the craziness... More

We stayed here for a week with our 7yr old and 5yr old. It was a great, clean room with king bed and sofa sleeper. We were on the 5th floor with views of the front street. Had modern décor and large double French doors for a street view and view of building in front. So if you want a... More

We booked 2 rooms as part of a Costco travel deal. First, I just want to address the common idea that the French are either rude or don't like Americans. I didn't find this at all. Virtually everyone we interacted with was both polite and more than helpful. For this alone, the trip was great. The hotel is recently renovated... More

Other than having a room without a view a pleasant clean roomy accommodation. Nice breakfast, helpful English speaking staff. Many restaurants nearby. Easy walk to Luxembourg Gardens. A good choice for the left bank. On a quiet street close to Montparnesse

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
