Hotel Malte, located in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris, offered us a quality experience worthy of a 5 star at 4 star rates during our stay "Business & Pleasure".
Ideally located in a quiet and secure area, the hotel is spotlessly clean, well appointed and offers many advantages included in the price (hot and cold drinks, snacks, access to other Parisian establishments, etc.).
Although the rooms (No. 105 and 308) are not very spacious (which is typical of Haussmannian buildings in the capital), they are perfectly furnished offering all the necessary comfort and sound very well soundproofed (no noise).
The staff is distinguished by their courtesy and constant attention to our needs (early check-in, transportation, luggage management, etc.): Not that "commercial" smile of the major hotel chains, but a real human warmth.
In addition, during our stay we even received special attention (Champagne and Macarons) very much appreciated when the receptionist learned that we were celebrating a special event.
A similar gesture from the receptionist (Champagne and Chocolates) was offered to us when we returned from the South for a second stay.
In short, as frequent international travellers (paying attention to detail), we can say that Hotel Malte de Paris is a model of perfection.
Many thanks to the receptionists, the room staff (very careful) and those of breakfast (whose buffet is remarkable) as well as to the Astotel management team who master its subject: you reconciled us with the hotels in Panam (Paris)!

This is the hotel to stay at while in Paris.
We stayed four nights in room 511, with 2 twin beds. The hotel is extremely clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the shower had a waterfall with great flow and warm water. The tv had several English channels. The room has a mini bar that contains soda cans and water bottles, all complimentary. Between 2pm and 2am every day, an area on the ground floor has drinks and snacks, all complimentary.
The front desk staff are all very friendly and speak excellent English. They offered us water bottles on several occasions.
There is a luggage room to store things on your first or last day. We did on both occasions.
And the best part is the location: a few blocks from the louvre, Notre dame, sainte Chappell, the Musee D’Orsay, the Opera, and about 25 minutes to the Marais.
There are several metro stations nearby and we walked to the RER “C” line to get to Versailles.
The price was very reasonable.
They also offer breakfast for a fee, which we did not take.
Stay here, you won’t be sorry.

This hotel was recommended to me after a long search for a 5 day stay in the French capital. Never was a choice more apt. The hotel is 7 minutes from Pyramides stop (line 7 if you arrive from Gart Est station) and 5 minutes from Bourse.
You are immediately welcomed in a professional way by the staff. No need to worry because everyone speaks English and will help you with tips on how to best visit the city.
The room (ask for the superior) is clean, spacious and with all the comforts for the stay. If you can't stand the traffic ask for rooms that give inside.
Breakfast is superb: there is everything from sweet to savoury and positively, drinks and snacks are available free of charge from 2pm to 2am. Even the minibar in the room is stocked daily with water and soft drinks (no alcohol). This is very rare in hotels and much appreciated after returning from a city tour.
Thanks to Manon and all the staff for giving us a fabulous week and also for the beautiful birthday.
If you are in Paris come to Astotel Malte there is no regret.
Mercì et au revoir!

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights.
The staff were very kind and tried hard to understand our poor English, and tried to speak in as simple English as possible, so we could rely on them with confidence.
I was impressed that champagne and sweets were prepared in the room. The room was very clean, we could hardly hear any noise from the hallway or the next room, the air conditioning was kept at the right temperature, and we didn't have to worry about dryness, so we had a comfortable stay. You can drink as much as you want from the refrigerator, and they will replenish it immediately if you ask.
The breakfast was delicious, and you can eat cakes and snacks at the cafe until late at night. You have to ring the bell every time you enter the hotel to have it unlocked, so you can rest assured about security.
The nearest station is about a 10-minute walk away, and the Louvre, Orsay, and Opera are within walking distance, making it a great location. There are many popular Japanese and Korean restaurants nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat. Another benefit is that there are several affiliated hotels where you can use the cafes and toilets freely.
It was so comfortable that I wanted to stay longer. I recommend this hotel!

All liked it. The location of the hotel is just super. The Louvre is 5-7 minutes on a direct road, and the Opera Garnier is also 5-7 minutes away. We stayed in the hotel for 7 days, visited all the possible sights of Paris and walked everywhere. Yes, 25,000 steps a day was enough, but it was also possible by metro; several stations of different lines are located 5-7 minutes from the hotel.
The hotel itself is quite well maintained, everything in the rooms worked properly. We were delighted with our room 414. The room size is excellent for Paris, everything is in good condition, the cleanest bathroom, slippers and snow-white bathrobes, high-quality cosmetics.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with a welcome card (which was very nice) and a package of macaroons. The minibar is replenished every day (standard cola, cola without sugar, juice, mineral water - one carbonated and one still). Cleaning every day.
Breakfast is excellent - scramble, various potatoes, sausages, bacon, red salted fish, lots of cheeses and sausages, vegetables - tomatoes, cucumbers, salad. The freshest pastries, pancakes, almost Belgian waffles, Nutella, fresh juices, regular juices and much more. It is very fortunate that from lunch until late at night there is a table with snacks - everything is always tasty and fresh, various pastries, olives, chips, crackers, tea, coffee, cola, water and much more.
Wi-Fi worked great. Very nice and helpful girls at the reception.
I always approach the choice of a hotel very scrupulously; a few months in advance I begin to study the information, think through everything down to the smallest detail.
And even after visiting, I can confidently say that Astotel Malte is the best location-quality-price ratio in Paris.
If you are looking for more budget options, you can consider other hotels from the Astotel chain.

The customer service at this hotel is fantastic! It was just the customer service we needed after a long flight. We had two separate reservations, and they easily accommodated us, so we didn't need to switch rooms.
The hotel's location is a food lover's paradise. Situated near the Louvre in a less bustling area, it's also close to the hop-on/hop-off bus stop. The 'Japan town' district, where the hotel is located, is a culinary delight with its numerous Asian restaurants. But don't worry, if Asian cuisine isn't your thing, there are plenty of other options to choose from.
The room and bathroom (WC) were in excellent condition and included a mini fridge with complimentary drinks that the staff restock when they clean your room. Our room had a view of the courtyard, which was nice!
There are complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day for you to grab in the lobby/dining area.
As part of the Hotel Malte chain, this hotel offers a unique advantage. Guests can take a break, grab a snack, or enjoy other amenities at any other Hotel Malte chain hotel in Paris.
There is a charge for breakfast, but no big deal.
We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it to all types of travelers! If there are other hotel Malte in other cities, I would stay with them, too.

Everything is clean and neat. The free cafe is also great. The hospitality of the staff is also good. Five stars without complaint.
They were kind to us Japanese people!
They prepared champagne for us in the room because we were on our honeymoon, and the refrigerator in the room was also refilled with unlimited drinks, so it's a great hotel! The interior is stylish and very clean, so I recommend this place! There is also a courtyard on the first floor where you can use bread, snacks, and drinks for free, which was great. The free Wi-Fi is strong, and amenities such as bathrobes and slippers are also available. I am satisfied to the point that I wish I could have stayed longer. In addition, the location is good and access to various tourist spots is good, but there are many road constructions due to the preparations for the Paris Olympics, so if you take a taxi, please be careful as it may take a little time due to road closures and other factors! The roads are a jumble of lanes, bicycles, electric kickboards, etc., and unlike Japan, it is a lawless area, so it was basically congested lol
If there is one thing that bothers me, it is that the bath structure is inefficient. The only things I noticed were that the stand for shampoo etc. was on the opposite side of the shower, and the shower glass was a little small, so the floor got a little wet!
But everything else was so great that I didn't even notice those things!
It was a great trip. I'll definitely use it again when I come to Paris! Thank you!

The hotel is very close to the Louvre, Paris Opera, Galeries Lafayette, Orsay Museum, Orangery, Place de la Concorde, Admiralty Palace and other attractions, all within walking distance. The subway station is also very close, and the surrounding is safe, with many small cafes, bars, restaurants, and shopping is also very convenient. The room is not big like other European hotels, but it is tastefully decorated, well-planned, and has bathrobes and slippers. The kettle is of good quality, and the room can open the window. There is free coffee, tea and refreshments in the lobby from 2 pm to midnight every day. In particular, the taste of their tea bags exceeded my expectations and was delicious. The service staff all spoke English and had a good attitude.

My teenage daughter and I stayed at the Malte over February break. We arrived on a Sunday from an overnight flight and were so excited to learn that our room was ready when we arrived at noon.
The room was small and faced the street on the third floor. There is a terrace window that can be opened if you need air. Even though the room was small, it was well fitted and had everything you could possibly need: A closet with a safe, plenty of hangers, heat that can be controlled, a well stocked fridge with complimentary beverages (nice perk) and the bathroom had little amenities not always found in other hotels (ear swabs, lotion, etc.) Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and the sheets were crisp.
Hotel is centrally located and is easy to find. There are plenty of places to eat that are affordable and delicious within a 10 minute walk from the hotel. We took advantage of the breakfast at the hotel and we were not disappointed. Nice options and everything was fresh.
The staff at the Malte are really warm and inviting. Super helpful and give great suggestions for restaurants and finding your way around Paris.
We were really comfortable at this hotel and were sad to leave. We will be back.

Hotel Malte made for a wonderful and most pleasant retreat after long days of sight-seeing in Paris! I recently stayed for 12 nights and had a very lovely standard double room which was exactly as depicted on their website. My room was cozy and the shower-bath was bright, adequately spacious, and boasted modern fixtures. I particularly appreciated the in-room safe which allowed me to stow my passport, iPad, and camera when needed. The mini beverage fridge was also a very welcome amenity and was kept well stocked with sparkling and still waters, and other soft drinks provided complimentary. The multilingual staff was also very amiable and welcoming as I started or ended my day. One of the biggest assets of the property was its breakfast option which could be purchased as part of the stay or consumed ala carte. It was wonderful to have such a wide assortment of charcuterie, pastries, breads, cereals, fruit, and other hot items available. Even better was the availability of the "open bar" variety of snacks , soft drinks, sweet treats, and coffee between the hours of 2pm and 2am, particularly when you wanted to satisfy an afternoon or evening salt or sweet craving. You can not find a better location in Paris-located on a quiet street and only 10 minutes away from the Louvre or a 15 min walk to the Palais Garnier. Restaurant options also abound a few steps away- where East meets West- with many highly rated Asian restaurants as well as traditional bistros.

The hotel is very accommodating and the hotel is very responsive to questions. I would contact the hotel directly regarding your accommodation needs.
This was actually the first question I asked when I arrived right after the protests in the spring. Typically, Paris does a great job keeping the riffraff out of the tourist areas, so if you're not planning on venturing outside of that area (not recommended anyways), you should be okay. When I asked the front desk, the very helpful young man joked that rioting was Paris' national sport. I hope this helps ease your mind. If you Google many of the places seen in the riot videos, you will see that they are not in the "downtown" area of Paris and all are happening at night. Also, commie Macron finally decided to crack down on the riots and deployed 45,000 police officers over the weekend. We only stayed for about 48 hours and had an enjoyable time. Good luck!
