We stayed in this hotel twice this summer. The hotel was not full due to Covid and we were given a superior room as a very inexpensive rate. The room was perfect - modern, stylish and large. Caesar at the front desk was warm and charming. Breakfast was delivered to the room on time and although basic, was great quality. Fresh orange juice, delicious bread and croissants. Air conditioning system was perfectly silent.
Booked this hotel on the fly as our original hotel let us down, the pics on the website looked good how wrong are they, it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel but I would rate this place lower than a premier inn , I would avoid at all cost unless your desperate
this little place is 2 blocks from the Plais de la Concorde. It is very sweet but there are few amenities so you have to deal with that. And the main person at the front desk does not speak much English. BUT it is clean and they treat you well and the price is right. Great location--easy to get to the Louvre and other museums by walking. You just have to overlook some of the down side.
We have used this hotel due to its close location to meetings were attending in Paris. Since our first visit in 2017 there has been constant building works going on. Whilst these only occur during working hours it’s still not right to,have to pay the high prices for a room in the hotel to have it shake and be constantly subject to drilling during daylight. The staff were pleasant though we felt they were punch drunk of dealing with the complaints. On the upside breakfast has improved! The rooms are dated and in need of a refurb. One of our rooms even didn’t have a shower curtain and led to the bathroom floor being a swimming pool. It’s all about location with this hotel and that’s it in a nutshell. Might look further a field next tie we need to visit the area.
Have to admit that I booked the hotel without checking on TripAdvisor! Huge mistake! The booking was made on January 2nd 2020. Received a confirmation but noticed that no money was removed from my account. Called them to ask them about the procedure and they said that they would deal with my booking in due time. Yesterday evening, Sunday 2/2/2020 I received an e-mail mentioning that they couldn’t withdraw the deposit from my account because my card was not valid and my booking would be canceled unless I get in touch with them within 24 hours. Today I transferred money in my account and asked them to cash the sum, only to be told rudely that my booking was canceled! 6 hours before the end of the 24 hours time limit they gave me. I sent an email protesting which was left unanswered! Then I checked TripAdvisor and read the reports about the disaster this hotel is! I feel so relieved that I was spared the experience of staying at this dilapidated hotel. I promise never to book again without checking first with TripAdvisor!…
