Only stayed one night due to time constraints. Excellent customer service and in a very good area relatively close to the Latin Quarter. It is a bit of a walk from RER B the main line between CDG, Gare de Noord and Orly, say 800m. Often easier to stay close to the main airport feeder train lines. Well priced and... More

Just back from a 4 night stay at this establishment: Location; Very central, 10 mins from Notre Dame and a major transport hub Rooms; While small, (which is understandable in Central Paris), they were perfectly adequate and cleaned every day, only small criticism is the bath/shower which are not designed for anybody over 5,6'. As far as eating is concerned... More

I stayed two nights here. Whilst the reception staff were friendly and initially I liked this place, I was disgusted to find a blood stain on my sheets just before checking out. I had slept on these sheets! When I told reception of this, they did not seem at all concerned and told me to contact the manager via email.... More

My granddaughter and I stayed a week here in June 2016. Location was outstanding. Room comfortable. We were in a twin room on the next to top floor with a small balcony. Room was comfortable and clean and a good price for a week stay. Staff were helpful and friendly. Leave your maid some euros on the first day and... More

Overall the hotel was good enough for our 4 days in Paris. It was close enough to all the major sites and metro station, altough with the recent flooding of st michaels station and the strikes, it did become a bit difficult to get to. 1. The room is really small but adequate... but you won't feel like hanging out... More

I don't want to say too much about this hotel because apart from the staff my feelings are all negative. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is terrible. Thin walls, an old uncomfortable bed, dark dreary walls. We could hear our neighbours clearly. Never again.

We have spent three nights in this hotel and have been very pleased. The staff was pleasant, fluent in English, and very helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spacious. The foyer is well decorated. Wifi is free. The hotel is quiet because it is located in a small street. However, the walls are thin and you... More

My wife and I once again in Paris and didn't think twice about staying at the Hotel Agora. The hotel is in a wonderful location close to everything we were interested in seeing. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and they speak English too. We would certainly recommend Hotel Agora to anyone looking for a good nights rest while... More

The hotel itself is decent, nothing spectacular, but it cozy enough for few days! This is one of those examples where the location does the price. The breakfast is quite basic, but I'm used already with the french breakfast, so no big surprise here. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean. The hotel is few blocks from Notre... Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
