We have stayed at ASG previously, liked it, and booked again. Still a very fine stay. Clean, comfortable, better rooms have a nice view. Staff is very helpful, speak English. Good breakfast. The location is superb for Left Bank touring. Metro is just around the corner.

Spent 2 weeks. Very convenient to most sights, easy access to bus and metro. Walked everywhere the first week...rooms are small, but dont spend much time there. We were on the 5th floor with a little balcony looking over the street, scent of baguettes and pastries wafting in in the middle of the night...loved the church bells. Very clean. Coffee... More

A nice hotel, not the best we've stayed in but not the worst either, just nice. Room was OK but seemed in need of a little TLC but we thought it was plenty big enough and we did get the view requested from the front of the hotel looking out over the church, the bells not a problem for us as... This is a nice Parisian place to stay rooms are small so what's new but they are clean and do not smell.the desk... More

My friend and I stayed here for 5 nights. The walk from the Notre Dame took a few minutes, and rest of the big sights are a nice walk away. There is a metro stop near by too. The room was perfect. Small but it held myself, my friend and all our luggage with space so it's a perfect size... More

This is a small hotel within 10 minutes' walking distance of Notre Dame Cathedral, the Seine and nearby to the metro for going further afield. Rooms are small (and the lift is even smaller!) but comfortable (the shower pressure in the bathroom is very good). The only downside was the very small safe which was not big enough to fit... More

Stayed in August. We had booked a Comfort room with a double bed. On arrival we were given what appeared to be a Standard room. When we complained to Reception we were told the room was in fact a Comfort room. However the room we were given looked exactly like a Standard room as pictured on their website. When challenged... My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and thought it was quite perfect in every way. The lobby and rooms are tastefully decorated and extremely clean. Our room was on the 5th floor with a beautiful small balcony overlooking the front of the hotel. All the staff were very helpful and spoke far more English than we did... More

This was, as of the time of writing, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The service, staff, food, quality of room, and cleanliness were all flawless. Our room was cleaned to a superb standard every single day, including fresh towels and bedding. The air conditioning was excellent, and it was a welcome breath of fresh air with the... More

This was a surprise trip for my daughter and I am so glad I found this hotel. Prior to arrival, I've emailed asking for directions and I've always had a speedy reply although it says it may take up to 24 hours. The service was amazing! From the Receptionist to the ladies that cleaned our rooms. I called for breakfast... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
