Arrived to welcomed by name!! All staff were friendly and helpful. Room whilst small was always spotlessly clean. Our request to join single beds into one larger one was attended to immediately. Whilst smoking allowed in hotel, absolutely no evidence of smell of smoke anywhere. Hotel is central to everythiong and a 2 minute walk to the River Seine. Very...

Great location. We were a block from the metro and used it all the time. We were able to walk to Notre Dame and even the Louvre. Our room had a small balcony that was great! There was plenty og storage in the room, although the room was a bit smaller by American standards. Shower did not have a tub...

I stayed at the Abbatial St. Germain in early April 2007 for 4 nights. While the hotel is on the Quartier Latin and not the St. Germain side of the Blvd. St. Germain, the location is very central and convenient: two blocks from the subway (Maubert-Mutualite), 6 blocks from the RER (suburban rail) that will take you to CDG airport...

We were very pleased with the service and location of this hotel. Rooms were clean with modern convenience. Very charming decor. Breakfast was plentiful with pleasant staff. Our breakfast was included with our room, so we ate there most mornings. We were able to walk to Notre Dame, La Sorbonne, Luxenberg, and even the Louve one day. The Metro was...

Booked the Hotel via Eurostar who promised a non-smoking room, when we arrived we were put in smoking room were the previous occupant had clearly been smoking cigars. Upon complaining we were told that the hotel had no non-smoking rooms (although it in retrospect I wonder if they meant no unoccupied non-smoking rooms) and that we should sleep with the...

Only one contact needed. Talk with Vanessa, she will make your stay the best ever. Directions, restaurant reservations, room issues, and anything else that you want help with. Access to Metro and bus using themulti-day Cavite Orange Pass was the way for us. Less expensive and easy to use.The major problem was the lousy value of the dollar in Europe!

We stayed at the Hotel Abbatial St. Germain for three nights. This was my fifth trip to Paris and second stay in the Latin Quarter. I was a little skeptical due to the reasonable rates but the reviews had been so promising and we were on a budget and the location seemed so good we decided to try it out....

A good base for a rugby weekend in Paris. In a good situation for restaurants and sight seeing. Rooms were clean, if a little small. Breakfast was 12 euros extra per person and average continental type. Reception staff were very helpful and were good communicators. I would stay here again.

Booked a superior room on special offer at the same price as a regular room. Good view from our corner site, clean, spacious room. Good size bathroom with bath tub with shower over same. Toiletries provided by the hotel if you wished to use. Fresh towels every day. Didn't take breakfast option at 12 euros each, we felt a bit...

We have just got back from a three night stay at this hotel and would reccomend it for it's great location and surrounding area. It is only a five minute walk to the Notra Dame / Seine and also to a number of metro stops to get across to other parts of Paris. The rooms are small but what else...

Staying in Odeon / Saint-Michel

Neighborhood Profile
Odeon / Saint-Michel
As the bustling center of entertainment for the residents of the Rive Gauche, the activity at Odéon never stops. Boulevards are lined with traditional cafes, restaurants, and boutique cinemas. The streets surrounding the fountain at Saint-Michel provide eateries from around the world. Lively bars are just next door and the prototypical terraced French brasserie is on every corner. The setting for this area is second to none; the Haussmann-style boulevards are contrasted by monumental architecture and overshadowed by the iconic Notre Dame, all within a moment’s walk from the Seine. This neighborhood's world-famous bookshops, cafés, and streets will not fail to impress you.
