Neighborhood
Saint-Germain-des-Prés
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.

This hotel was perfect for a short one night stay - I had another hotel booked and just needed an extra night. The location is perfect to explore Paris by foot although the area is on the pricier side for food options. The Latin quarter isn't far as well as Notre Dame, the

I stayed 6 nights in a double room and enjoyed this historic building. My room was very basic but it was all I needed as a solo traveler. I did happen to have a peek into the room across the hall which was large and amazing, so there are definitely some luxurious options

I've stayed here a few times and always ask for the same room and they always accommondate me. This is a very small, authentic hotel that is very elegant and no frills but walking distance to everything on the left bank and the Pont Neuf and the Louvre.

First of all mr eric..your rude response about "drunken hotel men" wanting to come to my room is inaccurate. I have a friend who has been staying in paris who kindly tried to walk me only to the elevator for my safety which your staff prohibited. It is none of your concern my personal situations. Second I simply said my clothes were left in the drawer which I considered since your teeny little closet by the bed was basically a hole with a shelf. The shelf my clothes were indeed left on. Third- its interesting how you didnt comment on how you were so rude to my same friend who had walked me to the hotel that night (not trying to go to my room which would not be your business anyways) who came by inquiring on my missing clothes. Nor did you respond that you rudely havent responded to my FOUR emails with even so much as a courtesy. I hope your maids are enjoying my clothing. Last- my friends who stayed there had the same complaints about the service and especially the cost of the taxi because you screwed them over on that as well. You must make a habit of this. Maybe you have some cash agreement with the taxi drivers. They were extremely unhappy with the service at the hotel. The only good thing was the location. Nothing else. You are unprofessional and you ate thieves. Ill be sure to make sure anyone I know does npt ever stay there and will fill trip advisor full of my reviews and get them to as well until you return my clothing that I know you have.
Madam, I acknowledge receipt of your emails of today regarding your stay with us last month. For your information, we have never received any email from you before this day. Our email address is (can not join it their because of the site policy will do it on an other mail). Thank you verify that you have sent to the right address. The only message we had from you was very defamatory notice you left online calling us thieves. For your information, our maids working here for 10 to 25 years, leaving at the reception all the forgotten objects. Clothing, perfumes, books, even simple tee shirts. For example, in just the last 2 months, an engagement ring with 5 diamonds, a large gold necklace and diamond pendant, a watch 25000 € have been forgotten and returned to their owners. Besides you talk about your clothes but we still do not know what it is. You have never made the list. From the twin you think you have booked, the cost of the taxi (should have stopped his meter because he was in advance we work with the two largest companies in Paris), plus the rest, I am sorry that you did not enjoyed your stay with us. I also regret not having met you directly rather than having to share unpleasant mail. Indeed, we are more accustomed to happy customers who share our good mood. Sincerely. Eric

Ciao, scusa se non ho risposto prima. È un piumone vecchio stile. L'abbiamo trovato pulito.

"Get a deluxe room for more space since Paris hotel rooms are typically tiny."
"My higher floor room had no traffic noise. The hotel has a small lift, plus stairs, of course. Each room is a slightly different shape."
"Higher floors have nice views!"
"If you need more space, the deluxe rooms are a definite step up in size."
"If you require complete silence, I would recommend asking for a courtyard room."
