"A former 17th century private mansion with its rich history" Ideally located on the corner of Place Vendôme and rue des Capucines, a step or two away from the arts and business district, the building in which the Hôtel Mansart was set up was built in 1720. It was designed by Jules-Hardouin Mansart, Louis XIV’s favorite architect, who also designed the Château de Versailles and the Invalides’ dome. The Crown jewelry-maker, Alexandre-Gabriel Lemonnier lived there during the Second Empire. He was involved in making Place Vendôme the jewelry district and made, among others, Empress Eugénie’s crown. The building was turned into a luxury hotel at the end of the 19th century. Even today, each room has kept the traces of past periods in its own way: the 17th century, the Second Empire, the Victorian influence at the end of the 19th century.

Right above the brand new Bvlgari store on Place Vendome is the location of this Paris gem. Some rooms even look out on Place Vendome but every room comes with super friendly service. Only 2 minutes away from the rue Saint Honoré where you can find all the expensive brands the world has to offer. Parking is around the corner and restaurants are plenty. Since 1992 my work takes me to Paris a few times a year and i have stayed all over the city. 2 years ago I discovered Hotel Mansart and I keep coming back. Also on weekend trips with my wife. Hotel Mansart can be a layed back mansion for a weekend getaway but it can also serve as an efficient support service when you need to get work done. I do not write a lot of recommendations, but this hotel deserves one.

We have stayed here a number of times over the past decade and stayed there in Sept 2021. Once again the service was excellent. The Mansart's location is excellent. Even better, the staff is friendly and very, very competent. The service has always been excellent. upon leaving we booked our next stay at the Mansart. It is a very comfortable, well run hotel

THE HOTEL IS NOTHING LIKE PICTURES SHOWN. We booked this hotel by what their own website showed, and upon arrival we were assigned a room that looked completely like another hotel.. antique and smelly.. when complaining and showing the front desk woman the pictures of what we payed for, she offered a similar room with a new bathroom (the other one had yellow tiles..). She was nice, and the room was better than the first one, but still not the one we had booked! The street is really noisy and as windows are old, the thin glass makes the noise seem even louder at night. The only good thing is the location, but for the price payed, this should not be considered a 4stars hotel. We payed over a thousand euros for just three nights, and we are not satisfied at all with what it’s supposed to be a 4stars hotel

Really good well placed hotel. Nice spacious rooms and very friendly staff. Rooms were clean and large. Breakfast was limited but it was after lockdown so social distancing was in place for all. Not expensive.
