I've been to Fleurie with my family to spend one day waiting for my flight. The small rooms are very clean the location fantastic but the staff not helpful at all. Nobody to help us with our luggage. Despite of all I would recommend this hotel!

We stayed for three nights with our 10-year old daughter. The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating, offering excellent advice on dining and exerting themselves heroically to find us a taxi on a morning in which most taxes were en greve. The room seemed small, but that was partly because we had the extra bed for our daughter; the furnishings...

This hotel is not near the Eiffel Tour, though is within 10 to 15 minutes walking distance of Notre Dame in one direction and the Louvre in another. However the location in St Germain on the left bank is terrific if you want more out of Paris than the main tourist attractions. Its in a small quiet street (if there...

This was our first visit to Paris and therefore our first stay at this hotel, but it won't be the last. The hotel was in a perfect location to experience the local restaurants, night life and to get to the many attractions that Paris has to offer either by walking or on the Metro which is available nearby. The hotel...

Small boutique hotel in St Germain, Paris. Off main road, quiet, close to everything . Typical small European style room, comfortable, clean. Friendly staff, good value.

This is the fifth time we've stayed here, and with good reason. It's in a superb location with respect to Metro stations, restaurants and shopping. The housekeeping standards are truly excellent. The biggest plus, however, is the outstanding staff who do everything you ask--and more--to make sure your stay is a good one.

I've been to 5 hotels in Paris between June 2010 and February 2011. This one was nice enough, but it was overpriced and overrated. It was pretty although dark and very cramped. The air conditioning worked well, which you need in Paris in the summer, and it's an interesting location. Maybe I would have liked it better if my expectations...

My husband and I brought my sister to Paris for her first time. This charming hotel greatly contributed to the success of the trip! When I booked I asked for our rooms to be near each other. The receptionist was extremely helpful in giving us a perfect set up with rooms right across from each other. I was worried about...

My husband and I are here in Paris for a conference I attended that was hosted by the journalism school across from Hotel de Fleurie, so we have been mixing business with pleasure. On both accounts, the hotel has been wonderful. Room 15 is small & without a view but it is clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The sitting...

This hotel is in a good location in Paris, close to wonderful sights and busy nightlife with the wonderful sidewalk cafes. The rooms are small like other hotel rooms in Paris, but decorated nicely and very clean. The bathrooms are modern and nice. Our room was warm (it was very cold in Paris) quiet and great for sleeping. The staff...

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
