For the price l paid I was very content with the service and amenities. Service was friendly and the room was ready before what was promised. Room was clean and peaceful. Big fan in the room what was a great surprise. I had room with a French balcony to the street side and I didn't notice any noise. Of course... More

A nice hotel in a good location within walking distance of the main attractions. The rooms are a decent size for central Paris and the bed was very comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants nearby so you can savour the local cuisine.

I stayed here with my husband for a few nights. Great location right in the heart of Saint Germain and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was small but clean and nicely decorated. The bathroom was a great size. It looks like the hotel has been recently renovated. The only bad point was the air con in our... More

Great location, within walking distance to many tourist sites and places to eat. The rooms are small but average by Paris standards, not much room for suit cases. Lots of history in this building including the breakfast room down in the converted cellar. Staff very friendly, speak english and always willing to help. There is a elevator to get to... More

I stayed there for 5 nights and I liked it a lot! The room was bigger than I expected after reading the comments. I had enough space for all my stuff, what was a lot ;). The bed is big and very comfortable! I loved the bathtub in the room..I could watch tv from there every night after work! In... More

The hotel is small, as are the rooms, but it is very cute and the staff is nice. I traveled with my boyfriend, and considering that the shower and the bathroom are basically in the bedroom, i can't imagine traveling with somebody you are not close to. The hotel has many shops, cafes and restaurants in the area, and is... More

Great spot for traveling Paris, inexpensive, great staff and location. Rooms are very nice with a bath that has a showerhead attached to it. Wifi worked very well. Front desk lent me an adapter for my phone.

Location cannot be beat. It's the best neighborhood in Paris IMHO. Price was excellent. Staff super friendly. Ok, rooms are small but, hello, it's Paris! Was right after the tragedy there but everyone was still so helpful and friendly. Going back next week. À bientôt !!

Lovely staff always with a pleasant greeting. The door is locked later at night but they are very prompt to answer the buzzer. The room is clean, well presented and includes a fridge. Tv also includes uk channels. Internet sometimes wavers. Ideal for a couple trip. Close to city centre.

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
