Liked · It is centrally located, on the back of Place De Madeline. It is one of the few hotels that has central air conditioning- a must this summer in Europe with soaring and unrelenting temperatures. The hotel appears to be recently and tastefully renovated. Our room was on the top floor, with some weird roof angles due to a typical Parisian architecture, but it didn’t diminish its enjoyment: the designer was very skillful in placing mirrors all over the room, it actually felt spacious without being so. Large ( by parisien standards) shower, good water pressure, a soaking tub under one of the roof angles ( a luxury item or a necessity after walking those cobbled streets all day long?). The best part of the room was definitely the bed : true King’s size, luxurious bed linens, comfortable mattress and pillows. What a pleasure to return to the room after a long day of site seeing, take that bath and sleep like a baby! The breakfast was excellent: from eggs, hams, grave-lax,cheeses to freshly baked baguettes and croissants. The machine is squeezing juice from oranges just in front of you. And , of course, the staff - welcoming, accommodating, truly caring, they even spoke French with us when we asked, despite our errors in pronunciation and grammar ( I am sure). This is a rare find, we will be back for sure!

Super friendly staff (Alex is a superstar), relaxed atmosphere, rooms well designed for the space available, and a delicious breakfast. Location also incredible - rare to find a hotel like this at the heart of Paris, great VfM. Will definitely stay here again when I get the chance!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel du Ministere! Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful rooms and a delicious breakfast! A central location from where we started our day trips by foot, by metro or by bus. We are certainly coming back! Thank you!

Great hotel in good quiet position close to Metro links Staff and service particularly good with everything done in a gracious, friendly fashion Unlike most hotels they offer a free minibar that is restocked daily Rooms are well appointed and bathroom spacious (executive room) A rarity was not to demand upfront payment, showing a level of trust that is sadly lacking today! All in its a good proposition and a very early checkin accommodated us after along journey from South Africa

I was lucky to be upgraded and ended up in a deluxe room which was great! They hotel has a basement gym as well which most hotels of this price range don't. The room was clean with really soft towels, comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities. The staff are helpful and I like the honesty bar which means you can get a drink and some snacks even if there's no one around late at night. I would definitely stay again!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for 3 nights. When I initially checked in I was granted an upgrade to a 2-story suite. It was a very nice room, but I preferred a single story room. I was told that room type would be available the following day if I was interested, and they changed me super easily the next day -- and I got another upgrade! The front desk staff was incredibly friendly, easy to work with, and happy to help. Definitely a smaller space, but very cozy. The drink selection each day and honor bar was a nice touch, plus it was so nice to have free drinks available in the mini bar. The location is awesome, on a quiet, residential street about a 8-10 minute walk to the metro. It felt very safe and there was always someone available at the front desk. I did not opt for breakfast, but it looked great! The rooms are also very good size, with super comfortable beds. Some of the facilities were slightly older and did show wear, such as the floors, doors, carpets, showers, etc. But everything is kept very clean and in good working order. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and hope to stay here again.

Our family stayed at this hotel for five days. Room was clean and despite the construction in the neighborhood, the hotel was quiet. Staff were very professional and friendly. Especially, the manager Alexander was exceptional and very helpful. Breakfast buffet was a little limited but high quality. Location was perfect for walking to look for attractions and shopping district. We will definitely stay at this hotel in our future trips.
