The hotel was recommended to me by a family member. I would absolutely recommend it as a family run, friendly hotel in a great location. Our trip was very last minute in July, without reservations nor knowledge of where to dine. The front desk set up excellent meals for 4 nights. This and other advice made our trip.

This Hotel is excellent, all the staff are so nice and the go the extra mile to make you feel at home! When ever I come back to Paris I would stay here again no question ask. You feel the peace, but most of all is the warm of everyone working here. Starting from the owners dog who is a... More

Very pleasant hotel with exceedingly friendly and helpful staff but more like an upperclass B&B than a hotel. Location is good, within easy walking distance of the Louvre and conveniently placed for the metro We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

If you are looking for a good location, this is a good hotel. But rooms are so small and BREAKFAST is NOT included. Try to eat in the cafes around. I would try another hotel next time. It's just ok. Location is the good point of this one. And ask everything when you arrive, specially what is included.

Dear Margacris, Thank you for taking the time to write a review on Tripadvisor. I am sincerely sorry for this misunderstanding about breakfast. When you made your booking through our site, you chose a price does not include breakfast. This information was written on the confirmation you received by email. We have stayed here many times and are always happy to be back. Best location , bikes for rent right outside the door, and a familiar and caring staff . It is a real Parisian hotel . It is suitable for staying in all year round

My second stay at this hotel in the past year. We stayed in the largest suite, which is quiet and spacious. Very nice bathroom, although the separate WC is tiny and too close to the bed. The bed was too hard in my partners estimation (although she slept very well), but I found it fine. The staff is helpful and... More

A small, quiet hotel with every convenience and comfort located within walking distance of most of the best places in Paris. The entire staff was bilingual (a relief for us as we should be but are not bilingual), and very friendly and helpful. The living wall lobby was a great place to relax, gather with friends, and have breakfast. We... More

We were pleased with what we got for our money. The room was a decent size by Paris standards. The staff was very friendly, especially the gentleman who worked the night shifts. But the overwhelming draw of this hotel is its location. Would gladly stay here again. I can't think of a negative word to say about this hotel.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel the second week of June and loved it. Being "first timers" to Paris we weren't sure what to expect. The view of the street I saw on a maps program made me wonder if the neighborhood was going to be ok/safe. We loved the area and walked from the hotel to the... More

Everything was very good at this hotel, we really liked it. The location, the room (nice beds, quiet, fresh, nice furnishing), friendly staff and ok continental breakfast. It was onlyone thing and that was the window in the bathroom, it has no blind so the light comes in to the room via the nice glass doors between the bathroom and... More

Staying in Saint-Germain-des-Pres

Neighborhood Profile
Saint-Germain-des-Pres
In Saint-Germain-des-Prés, life is effortlessly chic and all things are beautiful. The main boulevard is dotted with famed terraced cafés, haut-couture shops, ivy-covered railings and fine-dining restaurants. Antique dealers and art galleries surround the fine art school and small museums hide in unassuming squares. The neighborhood’s namesake church is the oldest in Paris and is the backdrop for talented musicians every weekend. The Luxembourg Gardens house the national senate, splendid lawns and flourishing flower beds. Famous faces and bourgeois Parisians frequent Saint Germain accompanied by the students of Rue Saint Guillaume and Rue des Saints-Pères. This is a neighborhood where afternoon people-watching from a café or playing cards in a brasserie are a key part of the daily fabric.
