This is a truly exceptional boutique hotel, one of the best in Paris. If there were more than 5 stars available, Hotel Pas de Calais would earn them all. Family owned and operated (and it shows), it’s beautifully situated just off Blvd St. Germain on the Left Bank, ideal for museum visits, shopping and sightseeing. The rooms were spotless and well appointed. Their delicious morning breakfast was such an enjoyable way to start each day. The attentive, personable staff -- Vanessa, Kevin, Raphael, Jacques-Olivier and all the others -- attended to every detail while offering wonderful recommendations before and during our visit. Our family of three was made to feel completely at home at the Pas de Calais. We truly can’t recommend it highly enough, and hope to return for another stay soon.…
We loved this charming hotel as our home base for 6 days. The staff is incredibly pleasant and helpful and the room was very clean and comfortable. You can't beat the location, it's perfection, We'll definitely be back.
The hotel is conveniently located near bistros, metro and major sites, but it was not a luxury experience by any means. Our rooms on the 1st floor looked into an inner courtyard/apartment and we could hear the apartment dwellers' music through the bathroom windows. The rooms were dark, basic, sterile--looked nothing like the chic ones on the website. Not a sanctuary of relaxation after a long day of sight seeing. Bathrooms were large and there was plenty of closet space. The air conditioning was excellent.
A perfect experience… my visit was so awesome I came back a month later for 2 weeks ! The entire staff is fantastic… they go out of there way to make your stay memorable. The owner Alex really makes the hotel feel like your staying with family. He’s so accommodating and so friendly ! It’s s gem ….
We had a Luxe room and were delighted with every aspect of it. Everything was sparkling clean and in perfect working order. Heavenly bed. Lots of natural light. Aircon was very effective even in the July heat. Reasonable sized room for Paris at 20 sqm. Check in was excellent. Most staff were outstandingly helpful. Would rather have had a buffet breakfast as a served breakfast does not enable you to select what you want. That said, we did ask for some items which were provided. We thought the hotel was excellent in every way.
My 17 y/o daughter and I had a lovely 4 days staying at the Hotel Pas de Calais. Our room was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially Vanessa who told me where to find a pharmacy to treat my daughters sunburn. Breakfast was wonderful with strong coffee and more bread/pastries than we could possibly eat. Location was convenient with two metro stops within a 5 minute walk and many sites within walking distance. Would definitely stay again on another trip to Paris!
We have stayed at the Hotel Pas de Calais several times. It is always excellent but this time was even more excellent thanks to an excellent team on reception as well as at breakfast. Elegant, stylish and incredibly friendly and welcoming. It is also has the advantage of a great location - right in the middle of Saint Germain but out of the crazy busy parts, and close to the museums and beautiful shops. A wonderful hotel and I hope to stay many times more.
I visited this hotel with my husband and two adult daughters for our 60th birthdays . We all loved this family hotel - its in a great location, with friendly staff and we will definitely be back soon !
We had an excellent stay at Hotel Pas de Calais in the 6th Arr from 6/25-6/28 in the family room - a perfect set up for our family. The location was perfect for us. Easy walk to the Louvre and the metro. We arrived early on the 25th and they stored our luggage for us. When we arrived back later in the afternoon our luggage was already in our rooms, which was a pleasant surprise. All of the staff was very pleasant, rooms were great and comfortable. They also arranged a taxi pickup for us on our departure day. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Beautiful and charming hotel. Wonderful location, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great breakfast was such a nice way to start the day. If you need a room with elevator access, make sure to check at time of booking.
