If you want cocktail bar, fresh flowers daily and a heated swimming pool, then this is just not the place for you!! But if you want a clean, comfortable bed and friendly, informative and helpful staff, located in the heart of the Parissiene attractions at affordable prices, this IS for you? This is our third time to the Residence, it's... More

Staff very friendly, location fantastic, room small but functional, exactly what you need from a no frills hotel - somewhere to lay your head down and explore this beautiful city from! There is a clear signpost outside, working (tiny) lift and great staff, some of the criticisms I read here were undeserved.would recommend! If I was really pushed to pick... More

We're a recently retired couple who stayed three nights at the Hotel Residence La Concorde and found it to be a great choice. Let me start by saying that I get annoyed with people who book a three star property and then want to review it against five star expectations. It’s absolutely clear from the advertising and pricing that this... More

Absolutely the best bit about this place is that it is incredibly quiet so along with pristine linen these factors contributed to a great nights sleep. On the down side the place is tired, the lift wasn't working and nor was the shower and breakfast was both limited and of poor quality (cheese slices taken out of their individual plastic... More

Hotel is hard to find. You have to go into an interior courtyard and up to the 3rd floor to find the reception. They close the big doors to the courtyard early and you need to ring to get someone to let you in. Expensive neighbourhood means that prices are high for everything you need (example 30 euros for 2... More

I had a spontaneous weekend with my son in Paris and wanted to find somewhere as central as possible without breaking the bank This hotel has done the trick Don't expect anything fancy but in my opinion it didn't matter as we were in Paris all day

This hotel is truly "basic," but what does that mean? We spent over a week acros the street from the Tuileries and within walking distance of the Louvre, the D'Orsay and the Petit Palais in Paris' First Arondisement for about 100 euros a day within two blocks of hotels charging three times as much, so what did we give up?... This hotel is situated very near to some of the most expensive hotels in Paris. It is in an excellent location, only 4 minutes walk to Place de la concorde and the Metro. The courtyard of the hotel is clean and pleasant. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lift is quite temperamental and holds 2 people with little luggage.The... More

Visted Paris last December and stayed at this hotel. It was small as other European hotels but very well located with a very friendly staff. The breakfast was included and had yogurt, bread, ham, cheese and some other things (cereal, fruit) enough to get you going. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's not up to date but it has... We spent 2 nights and loved it. The court yard gives a great European feel. Room had 3 single beds in two areas and was very comfortable. The staff was great and spent considerable time helping us book tours. We could walk to the Louvre, Opera, Place Concorde, even the Eiffel Tour, although that was a bit of a hike.... More
