My company booked me to stay at this hotel, as it is located very near our office in Paris. It was an awful experience! The room was at the top floor and it was tiny. The heating switches off during the night and I was freezing cold. No room service at all, so if you wake up ravenous in the middle of the night with jet lag, there is nothing. I had to pack and unpack my suitcase every morning and evening as there was no room to leave it open. I could hardly squeeze around the bed. In response to the heating, the maid brought a duvet WITH NO DUVET COVER ON IT and put it on top. I asked for a heater or plug in radiator, but no, they do not offer this. No English / cable / satellite TV to watch if you don't speak French. Breakfast was a joke. A tiny room, some food laid out on a small table to help yourself. And for €22! As a lone woman business traveler, I rely on room service or at least a hotel restaurant to have dinner on my own in the evenings. This restaurant did not have this. I will be staying somewhere else for my business travel.

Booked the hotel just a day before. Was booked to a different hotel and location, we were dissapointed with previous hotel that i looked for another for the next day. Good thing Hotel Waldorf was available. Very nice hotel, and the location was nice. Friendly staff too. Will stay again. Highly recommended.

Our experience at this hotel for 5 nights as our last stop in a 5 week vacation in Europe was extremely positive. The room was large with plenty of room to move around, luggage stands for 2 suitcases, spacious wardrobe to hang our coats, and the best beds we had slept in in our 5 weeks in Europe. The bathroom was modern and refurbished with a hairdryer, robes and slippers available. The placement of the toilet was unusually close to the wall but didn't present a problem. The hotel was quiet, spotlessly clean and the room staff unobtrusive. The Reception staff were friendly and we had long chats about Paris on the way past in the evening. A transport strike was going on which meant no trains, buses or metro were available. Reception staff were happy to call a taxi but realistic about it perhaps being quicker to walk due to extreme traffic congestion on the roads meaning that it was taking 30 minutes in a cab to travel 3km and costing over 30€. The staff were knowledgeable about routes to avoid during march days and which tourist attractions were closed a affected by strike action. The hotel is located in a nice area and within 2km of lots of attractions. The only slight negative was that the breakfast dining room was small and cramped compared to what we were used to but that is reflective of table position in most of Paris's eateries; the breakfast spread options were displayed in a small entrance/type area making it difficult to have more than 2 people serving themselves at once. The food options were also less extensive but included fruit. cereal, bread/pastry and two hot options. I will definitely stay at this hotel in the future when I return to Paris.

Stayed here 1 night. Good hotel. Excellent location and you can walk to Champs Elysee, Place de la Concord in about 20 mins and Gallerie Lafayette in 10 mins. Madeleine metro station is 5 mins walk and hotel reception will give you a very helpful sheet indicating how to get by metro from Madeleine to the various important tourist spots. Easy to get to most places. Concierge (Mark) and receptionist were superb. Room reasonable size for Paris. Room was warm with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Shower unfortunately was in a bath but was reasonable power. Ate breakfast in hotel. Excellent choice (cereals, croissants, yoghurts, scrambled eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice etc). I understand why previous reviews have said that the breakfast room was cramped altho we were fortunate as it was only half full when we went. Place de Madeleine is quite pretty with a lovely church and lots of shops and cafes around. Came via Eurostar and getting to hotel from Gare du Nord is very easy by metro with 1 change at Strasbourg St. Denis. Journey took 25 mins in total. Btw I purchased a 10 pack of metro tickets on Eurostar (21 Euros, cheaper if you buy at Gare du Nord but may have to queue) and none worked. Had to have them all changed at a station reception. I would definitely stay here again when back in Paris.

We were in a premium room with a large comfortable bed. Lots of windows on this corner suite on the 4th floor. Breakfast was included in the package booked by our travel agent. It was a full breakfast with eggs, etc. Tnere are a few cafes very close that would serve this purpose well without paying $22 so keep that in mind. It was a great convenience however since the weather was not good during our stay. 2 Metro stops within close distance and walking distance to Louvre. Concierge Mark was excellent help and extremely well spoken and friendly. Would recommend this place. A note of caution to first time travelers to Europe...walking is very different there with cobblestone streets and extreme traffic in Paris. You cannot hail a taxi but find a taxi stand and wait.

The Hotel is in a great position for walking to all the great tourist sites Paris has to offer. The Concierge was amazing with very extremely helpful tips, he even had a train schedule with details on how to get to each station etc. A big shout out to him. We were on the 5th floor and the room was fantastic. Whilst the breakfast room was small the food was fine and the staff were fantastic. Very very much enjoyed our stay and will return when we next visit Paris

I was charged Euro330 for a room and when I arrived at 9pm at night pm the day of my booking, I was told my room was no longer available as the previous guest did not check out from her room and there was no other room available. I was then asked to stay at another hotel. As a seasoned traveller, this never happened before especially at, what it called itself, a 4 star hotel. Also, the hotel was manned by a receptionist who was busy watching television, not what you expected from a four star hotel. I felt so uncomfortable, I left immediately and tried to find another hotel. I am writing a complaint to the hotel seeking a refund of the room charge I paid for a room which was never available. It was a very unpleasant and disconcerting experience when you travel alone, arrive late in the evening and found yourself had to find another hotel to stay in last minute.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights Aug/Sept 2019. Excellent location, fairly big rooms, all amenities for a 4* star hotel included in the roons. The only downside is the tiny breakfast room that does not allow to enjoy breakfast. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and we would certainly go back next time in Paris.

Minus 0 Nothing else to mention... Try to avoid sleeping in that hotel. The hotel is awful......It may happen in Paris.... Too expensive.... Those who said it was GREAT....were lucky. We may mention the breakfast room is tiny...I've been told it should be better...We can see that it is the same... There are better hotels in that area. SURE...
