Detailed Reviews
The bed was super super comfy, the room and bathroom were beautiful and loved the layout. The hotel was in a quiet area and only 5 mins walk to the metro and 10 mins to the arc de triomph, a few nice restaurants near by as well.
The only issues we had was we were put on the 1st floor so we could hear the front door sliding open and closed (from the street into the hotel). It woke us up some nights. Also, there were only 2 coffee pods with no milk (we like milk in our coffee).

Dear Kelly, Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We are delighted to hear that you found our bed to be extremely comfortable and appreciated the beautiful room and bathroom layout. It's great to know that you enjoyed our quiet location, just a short walk from the metro station and the Arc de Triomphe, as well as the nearby restaurants. However, we regret to hear about the noise from the front door and the limited coffee pods in your room. We will take your feedback into consideration and look into ways to improve these aspects for our future guests. Regarding the milk, we would like to inform you that our reception is always available to provide any additional amenities you may need during your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back. Best regards, CMO Hôtel Villa Maillot

First of all we would like to congratulate the whole staff , from the people of registration, the director, kitchen and cleaning, they were very nice, helpful and they made us feel welcome and at home
The hotel is very nice decorated, it’s a small one and that’s the reason why we were treated that special. When we just got to the hotel was late, they gave us a tiny room and we were travelling for 3 weeks till that day, at the next morning we ask them if they can change us to a more spacious room and their answer was definitely YES. We enjoyed our stay (5 nights) very much. The rooms are nice decorated in minimalist style, the bathroom also nice and spacious
It’s in a nice area, well located and quiet near to metro stations. We definitely go back again in our next trip

Super impressed with this hotel, ignore some of the bad reviews! Great location if your wanting to go to the touristy areas, the Arc De Triomphe only 15 minutes walking distance. Recommend either Ubers or metro stations which are just down the road and super easy to use. Supermarket right opposite the hotel which is open until 9pm, restaurants either side of the hotel too. The hotel itself is stylish and modern, all staff on reception are super knowledgeable and friendly. We booked a normal double room which was spacious, very clean and lovely decoration. Slightest defect being the door to the room got caught on the carpet so you have to give it a push to open & close, but me and my partner couldn’t fault anything else.

After around 7 years going to this hotel with a big group of people occupying around 5 rooms twice a year, this time it was the worst experience in an hotel in terms of staff behaviour, of my life.
I did the checkin online to speed up the process when we arrive, and even thought that they asked me for my credit card and the ID, that they had already in the system. Anyway, that was fine. But after entering to my room, the reception guy calls me saying I MUST come downstairs again because they need my credit card for the other rooms that were staying, in the same booking I made. I told him that I already passed and he started argueing. I went down to the reception desk with the credit card to finish the story and do whatever he had to do with that, telling that he was really rude asking for that. And he called her manager for my complains. I was shocked when the manager came, and with a really arrogant mood, she started telling me that I can't be angry like that, and instead of trying to calm me and talk with me, she just told me that it was fine and that they will solve it without the credit card (what I wanted from the beginning).
The hotel room carpet was dirty with a big stain just in front of the toilet. The heater wasn't working enough. I put it at 28 degrees non-stop and wasn't even at 20. I complained about that and they told me they would fix that but I haven't notice any difference.
In the night, we booked a big taxi for 5 people ( we were 5 rooms) for next morning, and the taxi that came next day was for 4 people. The reception guy in the morning's said that the guy from afternoon's wrote for 4 people. We were really upset because in Paris is really difficult to find taxis to go outside the city.
Moreover, last day, we woke up without hot water. And they just justify it saying that they are sorry and they are fixing it.
When we went to make the check-out, we thought we deserve some compensation for the problem with the water as non of us could have showered in the morning. They said that in that moment the hot water was fixed. And I told them, if they were expecting to go back to the room and shower when we were leaving. In the end they left for free the breakfast of that day but with a mood that was like the were making us a favour...
All the time their answers were really arrogant and not helpful at all. We felt really disappointed and we are sure we won't stay there anymore. We felt sad because all the people that we met in last year's stay were not there anymore, or at least, not during our stay... Maybe they changed the staff and because of that the treatment is terrible.

The housekeeping in both the rooms that we had left a lot to be desired with hair all over the place and bathrooms not being cleaned properly .
In one of the rooms the air conditioning did not work and we suffered terribly for the 5 nights that we had to spend sleepless in the sweltering heat and the callous attitude of some of the staff made it even more irksome .
There are far better hotels at this price and this stay ruined our holiday in Paris
This is a MUST AVOID hotel ……… they should have a 2 star rating utmost !!!!!

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. Upon arrival, one of our two rooms reeked of sewage and did not have functioning air conditioning in 90° weather. Then, after staff poured a solution down the shower drain, the room smelled of perfumed sewage (still no functioning air conditioning).
Then, the hot water went out for TWO DAYS. The front desk made no effort to apologize/make things right and couldn’t even give us an idea when the hot water would be back on. They did not care at all that their guests were without hot water.
I never leave a bad review, except for this— SHAME ON YOU Villa Maillot. One of my worst hotel experiences ever— you’d be better anywhere else.

Hello,
I booked this hotel for 2 nights in August 2022.
I paid around €160/day
I just need to say they charge you €160/day and they offered you a 2 stars experience, not worthy at all. It is a 60-70 hotel, I will add some pictures so you will understand.
There is a bright side, the guy in reception that stay overnight is very polite.

I am not sure where the negative reviews came from but I had an enjoyable stay for one night. I work for a company whose HQ is nearby so I know the other hotels in the area.
My room was spacious with a lovely couch and table, a good working area. The wardrobe space was adequate for me but might be a bit small for a couple who actually unpack and are there for a week. Tea and coffee making facilities were appreciated.
The bathroom had a separate bath and large shower. Bathrobe and slippers are included.
Although the room was right on the road I could barely hear anything and the blackout curtains worked well. The bed and bedding were very comfortable. I was well rested the next day.
Compared to other hotel rooms in nearby hotels I know the fit and finish was good and the room was well maintained. Perhaps the hotel has responded to the feedback from other reviews?
The breakfast was the standard fare for a French hotel i.e. more than adequate. The viennoisseries were particularly good.
I only wish there was some loyalty scheme.

This place is tired and now its customers are suffering the consequences of deferred maintenance gone terribly wrong. On day 1 of our visit, room 604 had a terrible sewage smell and no functioning AC. We had to cut our touring short to move from 604 to room 104 later that evening. That room was heavily perfumed but the AC worked. Yet, the toilet ran constantly and the tub and the sink did not drain well. But, we were only in Paris for 3 nights, so we thought we’d make due. Big mistake. We also had room 404 for our daughter which seemed ok. After touring all day in 85+ degree F on day #2, we returned to no hot water. We weren’t able to freshen up for dinner. Front desk said technician was working on it. Next day#3, still no hot water, but technician was supposedly working on it. Finally, when we checked out, on day#4, still no hot water. For a hotel that hold itself out as 4-star accommodations, this place deserves 0 stars. And, all the desk personnel could do was shrug. No apologies. No cares. No attempts to make it right. Told us to contact Amex. They were still checking in new guests while the water was cold. People were irate in the lobby. I don’t know how this place got a Trip Advisor best rating for 2022, but do not let them ruin your trip to Paris. They do not care about the guest experience.

When you arrive to Gare du Nord ( the train Station) walk to Paris Nord for 2 mn and ask to take the RER (RER B KJUN14 towards Massy-Palaiseau-)
When arrive at Châtelet walk 2 minutes to take the metro "1" towards La Défense and get off Porte Maillot.
When you arrive Porte Maillot and come out Avenue de la Grange Armée look for a street called Malakoff, walk 2 mn towards Avenue Foch.
You will find the Hotel to your right.
Other than that you can also take UBER, very easy and friendly service in Paris, they won't rip you off as Taxis would. Taxis are notorious to give you the touristic visit, if you know what I mean. So avoid taxis and use Metro or UBER.
Enjoy your stay.
Sorry. I don't know the answer, please contact them directly Hotel La Villa Maillot.
I tried to cut and paste the email but it seems that you can't.
I wonder if the staff reads these questions. If they do I am sure they will answer.
