Hôtel Louvre Saint Honoré is lauded for its prime location, allowing guests to easily explore Parisian delights and access various amenities. The hotel's cleanliness is a consistent point of praise, with travelers frequently satisfied by the well-maintained rooms. While the service is typically regarded as friendly and helpful, there have been occasional lapses in responsiveness. However, reviews indicate that some guests feel the hotel does not provide good value, pointing to unexpected fees and rooms that may not meet expectations for the price. The atmosphere and room quality receive mixed reviews, with some finding the rooms comfortable but others noting a need for updates.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Louvre Saint Honore. The rooms are older but very clean and well kept with a large bathroom and very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was delicious- Helene goes above and beyond to provide a great morning buffet and to ensure you have anything you need. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The location cannot be beat- we walked or took the batobus to most tourist spots around Paris and there are an abundance of restaurants right by it. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone going to Paris.

For Paris rooms are a good size, amenities are a nice touch and the location is great. Also pretty impressed with breakfast given how small the hotel is. Beds are a very comfortable and peaceful (at the rear of the hotel)

Staff very helpful and attentive, would recommend for a budget conscious stay in Paris

This is our first time in Paris. We chose this hotel mainly because of the location. We were surprised how accommodating and approachable the staff were. From start to finish, they were all very nice and friendly.

This chic hotel is centrally located (approximately 5 min walk away from the louvre). There are plenty of restaurants around the area and a supermarket is just 1 block away. Bus and metro are just nearby. A tour company is just a block away hence we didn’t have any problem in figuring out what to do first or where to go while in Paris…
Since we arrived early, I emailed the hotel and asked if we can leave our luggage while we explore the surrounding before checking in…the response was quick. On our arrival, we were greeted by Ali who was very friendly and accommodating. He provided us information re the surrounding area. And anybody who manned the front desk did the same thing… courteous and friendly. Staff who served breakfast was also very friendly. We love our stay in this hotel.

We will surely come back and stay in this hotel again…

Do not waste your time staying in this hotel. It’s absolutely not worth 4 stars.

2 of us stayed n this hotel for 3 nights. Upon checking in, we were told we were to pay a €150 deposit, a fee which was not mentioned in the fee list or any of the small print. Only a tax payment of €8.45 per person per night was mentioned, which equalled €50.70. The following statement is printed on the additional information: “The above list may not be comprehensive. Fees and deposits may not include tax and are subject to change.” A fee as ridiculous as €150 should be stated clearly upon booking. We were told this deposit is refundable upon room check after checking out, however this was not refunded to me, even despite contacting the hotel week ago.

Our room was incredibly cramped and the bed was uncomfortable. The safe also didn’t work, we attempted several times with no luck. However, the worst part of this room had to be the outdoor communal area just outside our room. We were staying on the ground floor and had a door which opened to an outdoor communal area, shared by other members staying in the hotel who could access this area by a spiral staircase. However our main concern was this space could also be accessed by members of the public as there was another door which opened straight into reception and was unlocked every time we checked. Anyone could walk into the lobby and be able to access this space if they wanted to. This is incredibly unsafe, especially as our door was tricky to lock and led to a restless first night.

The main attraction of this already questionable hotel was the bathroom. The bathroom door is a sliding door and when sliding ours across, I noticed the lock didn’t close. I came back outside to find the actual door didn’t fit into the doorframe and there was no way to close the door. On several occasions, the door slid open on its own when using the bathroom, an absolute horrifying invasion of privacy. But the worst of it was the toilet flush. On the second night, the flush on the toilet became stuck and the toilet was constantly flushing so it became unusable. I reported this to the woman who was on reception, who appeared to be online shopping and talking to a friend on the phone when I came. She was incredibly unbothered and dismissive when I reported this, giving me a “what do you want me to do about it” attitude. She told me she “didn’t know when the man would be free” and left it at that. When we returned to our room a couple of hours later, someone else was on duty at reception. The issue had not been resolved and I spent 2 hours fixing it myself. No one at reception asked us if our toilet had been fixed and no one came to our room to help, it was clear this incident had not been reported at all.

Following all these issues, I contacted the hotel by email a week ago and have received no response. The lack of communication speaks volumes about this space. This hotel is not worth the expense and the pictures are incredibly deceiving.

We spent two nights at this hotel and had an unpleasant experience. The room, although defined as LUXURY (with relative cost) , was in the back, dark and with very old and dirty "fake Parquet" carpet floor. The underwear was worn flat and unpaired. To complete the rude, inadequate and unavailable staff! Bad value for money, don't be attracted by the central location.

When we checked in on May 17, 2024, we experienced the greatest disappointment we have ever encountered in a hotel. The room was dirty, dingy and disgusting. The carpet was stained and filthy, there was mold on the ceiling, dust on the window frames, and the towels were dingy and gray(not white).
We immediately contacted Maria, at the front desk, and requested to change the room due to its unacceptable condition.
There were no rooms available. We had no choice but to find another hotel. We were in the room for less then an hour and were charged 503 Euros. The hotel refused to reimburse our payment.
There are so many nice and CLEAN hotels around this area that do not charge so much money for dirty rooms.

Dear Mrs Levertov, Thank you for your feedback. We are sincerely sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points. The room was not dirty, although the carpet is aging. It is regularly maintained and cleaned with care. Regarding the refund, we were unfortunately unable to resell the room after your departure, hence our refusal to reimburse. We hope you understand our position. Best regards

Dear future potential customers,

We would like to share our recent experience at this property in order to inform you and help you make an informed decision before booking. Our stay from August 17 to August 19 was marked by a series of serious issues that greatly affected our experience.

Upon arrival on the evening of August 17, we were confronted with a major water leak in our bathroom, causing a large puddle on the floor. The situation quickly worsened with water seeping into other parts of the room, making the bathroom virtually unusable without getting your feet and head wet with every step. Additionally, the carpet in front of the bathroom was completely soaked.

The most worrying point was the discovery that our room door had been left open, which represented a blatant violation of our privacy and security. Unfortunately, despite our reports to reception, no corrective action was taken at this late hour. Instead we were simply suggested to leave the hotel.

Furthermore, even two weeks after our stay, we still have not received a response to our complaint email. This lack of response clearly demonstrates that the hotel does not seem to be interested in the well-being of its customers and is more concerned with collections than with customer satisfaction.

We have documented these issues with photographs that we are sharing in the hope that it will help you avoid a similar experience. We strongly encourage the management of this property to resolve these issues quickly and take steps to compensate guests for the inconvenience and uncertainty experienced.

We share this experience not to harm the property, but to help you make an informed decision when booking your accommodation. We hope that you will find a better place for your stay and that the managers of this establishment will take the necessary measures to improve their services.

We booked 1 room for disabled people specifying that the person is in a wheelchair, receiving confirmation of the hotel's accessibility.
Bitter surprise upon arrival, the breakfast room is located in the basement but the lift is too small, my son was unable to access the breakfast room because he couldn't fit in with the wheelchair which anyway is of standard size.
it is not enough to offer breakfast in the room service, it was humiliating to say the least and not at all fun not to be able to have breakfast together, in 2023 it is not possible for these things to happen in a city like Paris. Whoever received the reservation had to explain the situation, then we would decide whether to book or not.

This hotel is in a great location just next to the Louvre and has a metro station close by, so the city is really accessible. The area also has an abundance of restaurants and cafes. The hotel rooms are large for Paris and spotlessly clean. The beds are very comfortable, along with black-out curtains - we had a good night's sleep. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel, as there are so many eateries close by offering more extensive/cheaper options. The WiFi is intermittent. The reception staff were all fantastic, welcoming and helpful.

We are a family of 4 with two tween kids. We got a room with a queen bed and pull out couch. Excellent location near the Lourve. Friendly service. It’s best feature is the cozy sitting room near the lobby. We spent a lot of evenings there chatting. The breakfast was great for a small hotel. Lots of bread and pastry choices, pancakes, cereals, yogurts, cheeses etc. the hotel also has a cool water dispenser that serves both flat and sparkling water at no charge.

The room, however, was very tight. We got in very late at night only to find that the sofa bed had a dirty sheet on it. We had to ask the desk for clean linens and put a cover on the stained comforter ourselves. Toilet was in a separate room from the sink which may be a European thing but still annoying. Otherwise the hotel had very friendly staff and service.

Good afternoon. Unfortunately I can’t describe the beds any more than I have. We were very comfortable. The pillows were down. But, other than our comfortable sleeping arrangements I can not describe th beds more. On the site you can Make personal requests. We did so when we knew we could require a late checkin. We received a response within 24 hours. Sorry I could not help more.

Yes but you would want a room w two beds. The classic rm was a bit small for two ppl w two suit cases so I definitely recommend a larger rm for 4 ppl. Hotel was very nice (for the price) and staff were great. Good location.
