I had a room that faces the Opera house and Opera metro. The view was good, the service was good, the hotel was well kept, the room was clean and comfortable, but there were some things that I would not expect from a hotel of this caliber, especially an Intercontinental hotel. The building has 5 floors and is an old...

Our family of five stayed the beginning of January at the IC Paris le Grand. I booked a Deluxe room for our girls and for my husband and I. As a Platinum Ambassador I was upgraded to a junior suite. My husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and the service was wonderful. We had a lovely stay, rooms...

The Le Grand is a grand classy hotel. It was built in 1862 and it still have keep the atmosphere. We got a superior room which was quite small. You could not fit an extra bed. The bathroom was almost as big. The is a couple of stairs to reach the entrance, thus not that convenient if you have children...

Me and my partner went to Le Grand to celebrate our anniversary. Service was wonderful, attention in detail, decor was amazing, not just luxurious but also cultural historical. Location couldn't be better. It is just spectacular!

We stayed 4 nights this time just around the corner from the Executive lounge near the junction with the settee beneath a work of art? Our room had a bathroom with tub and a separate shower per my request at check-in, and everything was clean and well supplied. My only issue with the room was that the TV would not...

Usually I don’t write hotels reviews. I spent too many years in hotels on business all over the world. Review are generally useless. Now, I rate hotels only if they are much better of what I expected or much worse. This is the case. This time I decided to take a few days of vacation with all my family. Having...

I have stayed at the Le Grand many times in the last 12 years since International Hotel Group bought the property. Take a glorious and resonant site, put it in the embrace of a superior hotel company, and prepare to be happy! All the nuances of a luxury hotel chain are there, the location is great (right between the 1st...

Okay so the service received at this site was great as it should be for the price. I was staying here for my friend's birthday and they were sure to get him a nice chocolate cake and a room with a view of the opera. We were promptly upgraded and helped to our room. The hotel is connected to a...

I stayed here for a week in November for work b/c it was close to work and walking distance to the Lourve. The location was great as it's very close to Lourve and right next to the opera building. Staying in Opera / Bourse

Neighborhood Profile
Opera / Bourse
The neighborhood around Opéra and Bourse is a belle époque paradise of grand boulevards, refined arcades, and mass-market art-nouveau entertainment. Here, modern day workers continue to take advantage of the legacy that nobility and finance left in the 19th century. Brightly-lit brasseries, theaters, and cinemas sit side by side with French bistros predominating in one area and Japanese restaurants in another. The area is most famous for the Palais Garnier opera house and glamorous department stores.
