My wife and I came to the Hilton Opera Paris to celebrate our honeymoon. They did absolutely nothing to accommodate our special occasion. I used 320k points for a very small room. I Will be switching to Marriott

Dear John S, I am very sorry and surprised to hear that you had such a disappointing experience at our property. Let me apologize for the service offered during your stay with us. Such service is not common with us and does not reflect our usual guest experience level even more for such a special event. Best regards, Jean-Nicolas

Hotel's Favorite
My wife and I had a brief 3 night stay at the lovely Hilton Paris Opera. The building itself is lovely with a great history. All areas, including the rooms reflect that, and it's nice to see that they chose to preserve this history while modernizing the amenities of the hotel. Le Grand Salon in particular was mesmerizing. We ended up spending quite a bit of time in there, having lunch or drinks in the evening, just because of how amazing the space is. The breakfast was also on point, with all the usual suspects and the quality being there as well. The staff was excellent. Very professional and friendly, a balance which is often difficult to reach, they accommodated our every request. Cleaning was on point, covid safety observed at all times, we felt completely secure during our stay. The location seemed perfect for us to do a bit of casual exploring around the area. Special mention goes to the bed, pillows and linens. Having a good night's sleep (and sometimes an afternoon also) was critical for us to unwind after a busy few months of work, and the bedding worked wonders!

We had a 3 night stay at the Hilton Paris Opera Hotel. We were greeted and assisted immediately upon arrival. The hotel lobby was gorgeous. Check in was quick and easy. After presenting our Covid cards and passports, we were given our room key and informed that we were being upgraded to a suite. I am a Diamond member, so I expected an upgrade. We were given a suite! The room was very large and had a huge bathroom with heated floors. There was a Nespresso coffee maker and robes and slippers. The bed was a little harder than what we liked, but we were so tired at the end of the day did not have any problems sleeping, other than the issue of the time change and jet lag. Breakfast was included with our room rate. Breakfast was a buffet which included a typical English style breakfast but also included fresh breads, cheeses, meats, fruit, spreads, yogurt, cereal. juices and more. An automatic coffee maker provided various coffee drinks. Staff at this hotel were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We asked that the hotel keep our bags for one night while we took the high speed train to Strasbourg, France for the Christmas Markets. We were staying at a Hilton in Strasbourg for one night and did not want to haul our roller bags just for one night. Staff gladly kept our bags safe and secure until our return the following day. We had an issue with the coffee maker in the room on our first night. We called the front desk and received an immediate response from staff who brought another coffee maker with several coffee pods. All in all our stay was great and the hotel was in a great location where we were able to walk to several sites. The subway was a short walk away and the train station is a 15 minute walk away. The hotel was easily accessible from CDG via train and subway. I would definitely stay here again.

It is our second visit to Hilton Opera and we didn't want to book a different hotel since the location is perfect (close walking proximity from a lot of beautiful areas and sites). Last time we had a suite and this time we booked superior room - which is quite small but comfortable. - The hotel bar is outstanding - The rooms are getting old and could use some refreshment - Amenities - POOR. It's not the ice age anymore - nespresso machines are everywhere and I think Hilton can afford to change the cheap nescafe sachets. And if you are a woman, you will be disappointed to find an OLD hairdryer and no cotton buds, etc. - The staff is nice (especially Karim - who helped us before our arrival with information and found/made restaurant reservation, which is currently impossible in Paris since it's packed). However, the reception staff could be more attentive and guest focused (and not stare on their screens without paying attention even when you approach them). Overall, we recommend this hotel as it is conveniently located, has a nice interior and the rooms are comfortable.
