Other than the breakfast we loved our stay here and would have come back.
The hotel is extraordinarily beautiful and elegant, the staff is very helpful at the reception as well as at the bar and restaurant.
The cleaning services in the room are very poor; the rooms were not cleaned until this was complained to the reception.
Also no
the daily coffee was refreshed only after complaining about this at the reception. (the appointments on the tablet in the room, where you request everything you want, were made by us according to the instructions at the reception)
The breakfast was very bad, poor and monotonous compared to the level of the hotel.
Every day it was the same (identical) menu, consisting of simple scrambled eggs, coffee, juice, and 4 croissants shared between 2 people. Anything you request to add to the egg preparation costs 5 euros.....there is no such thing
normal. I can't imagine that if I had stayed 7 nights at this hotel, I would have had to eat the same breakfast 7 mornings; anyway, 3 identical breakfasts were more than enough for the next 5 months of life.
The hotel's staff were incredibly attentive and helpful throughout my stay. A special shout-out to Dean, whose enthusiasm and dedication were remarkable. He went above and beyond to ensure that all my needs were met with a smile. His recommendations for local dining and tips for navigating the city during the Olympics were invaluable.
The location of Le Grand Hôtel Cayré is also worth noting. It’s perfectly situated to provide easy access to various the city withe Metro at the door to some of Paris's most iconic attractions. Whether I was headed to a game or exploring the city, everything was conveniently accessible.
The rooms at the hotel provided a luxurious retreat after a day full of activities. Comfortable, beautifully furnished, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for, they offered a true sense of relaxation and privacy.
I highly recommend Le Grand Hôtel Cayré to anyone visiting Paris, especially during large events like the Olympics. They truly understand the essence of 5-star service and make every effort to ensure a memorable stay. Thank you to Dean and the entire team for an unforgettable experience!
The atmosphere is more of a private members club than a hotel, so guests can relax with like-minded locals and guests.
This will become a big hit with discerning Parisians and the restaurant is fast becoming a place to be seen with locals. So that’s always a good sign. Come and experience French flair in a contemporary and classy setting.
