This hotel is not a 4* hotel . There’s a review in May which I do wish we had read before we stayed here . It’s pretty spot on . No restaurant / no bar facilities (as staff member unwell ). No replenished tea bags Water only free on first evening although we weren’t told this ( maybe this is a Paris thing?) Tried to contact reception and phone wouldn’t work - on going down to reception was told that buttons on phone indicating reception , concierge etc don’t work and that we should be dialling 9 - we were not told any of this at checkin. Shower doesn’t work - only one head from 2 buttons . Ceiling in shower peeling and looks really bad . Furniture and cabinets in room bashed and worn . However it’s not acceptable that we paid premium $ for a shabby hotel that cannot possibly be 4*.

Loved our stay here. The perfect location to see all the sites , the metro is right on the doorstep and it’s in such a lovely place. Maid service was fabulous and the room was immaculate. Paris was everything I imagined it would be ❤️

Not a 4 Star hotel as advertised. Tired and worn. Adequate breakfast buffet. Helpful reception but rooms a really in need of refurbishment. No restaurant and no bar because the barman is sick!!! A bit disappointing. One plus is that the windows open!

We loved our stay in this fabulous hotel! The location was great, we really loved our rooms with a small balcony to enjoy the view and fresh air. The daily breakfast was one of our favorite things, and we looked forward to it every day. The metro stop was right across the street from the hotel so it was very easy to get everywhere. Lots of things were walkable, and there were restaurants nearby, as well as shops and conveniences. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris!

For a big anniversary, we reserved a terrace view with an Eiffel Tower view. Perfection! We spent our first evening on the terrace watching the tower sparkle with a bottle Cabernet franc, Brie and a baguette. Of note, the room is good sized by Parisian standard. By American standards, it’s modest sized. Also, if you have any mobility issues, the bathtub/shower will be a challenge because of a large step down. Also, excellent location in a beautiful neighborhood with good access to all you want to see.

This is a great centrally located hotel. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from museums including the Louvre. There are also many nearby pharmacies, Mon Prixe (market) and restaurants. In fact, I would definitely suggest having at least one meal at the St Germaine restaurant across the street. The “family” room was a descent size for two adults and a teen. However, the bathroom was painfully small. If you have any physical impairments, stepping into and out of the tub will be extremely risky. The hotel also does not provide wash towels, only the large drying towels and hand towels, which was a first in my many world travels. With all that said, the room was very clean and the mattress descent enough. Staff were all English speaking and helpful. We had the breakfast included in our package. It was delicious with a good variety of items. Our room was on the second floor without a view. I imagine a room in a higher floor would be amazing. Bus stops and train are right in front of the hotel as well.

I meant to write this review a lot earlier, but this hotel was wonderful! I visited Paris in April to celebrate my birthday along with my mother. My mother has mobility issues so I picked this hotel because it has an elevator. What a find! Such a delight. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect. Located near the corner of Rue de bac and Saint-Germaine, there is a treasure trove of shops, cafes and pastries near by. The hotel was modern, neat and clean and the view from our hotel window was breathtaking. We utilized Uber during our stay, but if you want to take the bus or train the stops and station are literally right out front of the hotel.

If you're looking for full-service, this hotel is not for you...no bellmen, no room service, no restaurant (other than breakfast buffet), very limited bar service. The rooms are tiny and bathrooms tinier. The closet was so small it's impossible to stow your stuff, so bags end up on the floor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable; the A/C had to be run constantly (and noisily) to keep the room cool enough to sleep The location is fine, tho Rue Raspail is a busy and noisy street. Plenty of other Left Bank options next time

I am shocked at seeing the previous reviews before this one. I can't believe that people think this hotel is so great! Really? I looked at hotels in Paris forever and my main objective was to be in the St Germain-des- Pres area so I could easily visit Cafe Flore and Cafe Maggot. I finally settled on this hotel based on reviews and the pictures. Upon entering the hotel it looked really nice but this is where nice ends. Once we stepped off the elevator, it was very old and dark, with very narrow hallways and low ceilings. When we entered our room, I was shocked at how small it really was. In the pictures, it felt bigger and brighter. They had to have brought in additional lighting for the pictures above. There was just barely enough room to walk on both sides of the bed or in front of it! It felt old and it was! The furniture is all dinged up with scratches and the orange chairs are worn where they have white spots on them where all the upholstery is worn down. It was dreary and depressing! I was not happy and immediately regretted this decision. So we moved to the bigger room where you see the sofa and the desk on one side of the room. All the same issues with being dark and dreary with the same worn furniture. But we kept it just to have a tiny bit more room. The bathroom is absolutely a one person bathroom and to give you an idea of the size, you can literally sit on the toilet and touch the tub, the vanity and the door with ease. And it seems this style shower is pretty common in England and France, it was a chore to use. No washcloths to be found. I think this is another thing that may be the norm in Paris. The bathroom is tiny. The first night we have no air in the room, we thought we were using the AC properly but turns out you have to have the front desk turn it on. We did that and finally we got some air. The pillows are the tiniest I've ever seen in a hotel. So to get a king bed, they use mattress toppers to lay across the twins to make the bed a king. I think that was the case with our king bed because we had a very hard lump in the middle and I do mean hard. I had to stay on the edge of the bed to avoid it! My husband's side of the bed felt higher. It was weird and very uncomfortable. Absolutely miserable sleep and we would have been better off just sleeping in separate twin beds! This was the most we've ever paid for a hotel at close to $600 a night without adding breakfast. I have however stayed in some nice places for a lot less and I would not consider this hotel to be anywhere close to a luxury hotel. We did stay at the Waldorf Astoria in Versailles France, it was probably our first ever 5 star luxury hotel and we did so we would be close to the Palace Versailles. It was a 5 star luxury hotel and we paid about $500 a night! Now you go stay there and then you tell me that this hotel is a luxury hotel! No it's not and it's not even close. It's in Paris and that is what you're paying for, because you're not paying for comfort and amenities here. It was a huge disappointment and I urge you to think hard if aesthetics, comfort and size are something you expect. I realize most rooms in Paris are small but I'm sure there are nicer ones than this. If you found any part of this review helpful, then thank you in advance for your helpful vote.
