I booked this hotel 1 day prior to my trip without much research and my expectations were blown out of the water from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Beautiful vintage interior decor and very high level of cleanliness! (most important factor for me). The hotel is tucked away on a cobbled street off Place Victor Hugo and very close to local supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and Parisian landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysées, Trocadero, etc. My favourite place for breakfast was Place Victor Hugo which almost feels like a quainter Place Charles de Gaulles, which has many cafes and a friendly neighbourhood feel. Do beware of beggars in this area, they are professionals. They will not pose any threat but their game is to send their children to you and get you to buy as many things as you can for them from the supermarket. It's not the worst thing in the world and I certainly didn't mind doing it for the cute little boy I met that day. But they do take advantage so just be cautious. The staff are so friendly and accommodating, they remained patient with me always and spoke perfect English. I was in Paris for my sisters birthday so they upgraded us to a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. (Thank you!!!). Did not get a chance to try the food in the hotel unfortunately. The lifts in the hotel are quite small but will fit at least 3 people and they have two in the lobby. Very quiet ambience and impeccable service. I definitely hope to stay at this hotel again some day :)

What makes this Hotel as amazing as it is is most definitely the amazing staff. Everyone we came in contact with was beyond kind. We where there during the start of the Corona-Virus and at one point everything had to close and even than instead of worrying about themself, everyone helped us as we had to leave the city early. It is not as luxurious as the other Hotels that we usually stay in Paris but it is a gem. The art deco interior makes it feel very elegant and yet ever so cozy. I am super happy that we booked this hotel and we will be back as soon as it is allowed to travel again. Thanks to the amazing team!

Reception: great service. Reserved nearby restaurant prior to our arrival Room. nicely furbished (Art nouveau). Small closet, yo-yo shower (4 possibilities: cold water/slow stream; cold/hard; hot/slow; hot/hard stream), doors poorly adjusted (neighbours closing the door makes you sit upright in bed), rattling vent in the bathroom (made us to to keep it running whole night in order to get an even background sound). Otherwise: ok Elevators. not for BMI>30. Breakfast: for a French hotel, very good. Service: excellent. Breakfast room: too small for the hotel capacity. Bar: attentfull service

Dear Madam, dear Sir, Thank you for taking the time to leave us your comments following your stay at our Victor Hugo Paris Kléber hotel. The hotel team is happy to read that your stay was pleasant. You appreciated the location of our establishment surrounded by many restaurants and shops and allowing you to enjoy the tranquility of our neighborhood after discovering the wonders of our city. Our hotel has been completely renovated in an Art Deco style. In a typical Parisian building from the beginning of the 20th century, the rooms are of different sizes and therefore of different "Classic", "Superior" or "Prestige" categories. Our breakfast buffet offers a wide choice of sweet (pastries, jams, cakes ...), savory (cold cuts, cheeses ...), hot (eggs, beans ...) or cold (fruit salad, jus ...), in order to satisfy all the tastes of our customers. We are fortunate to have 2 elevators which is rather rare in a typically Parisian building, however they are normal size... We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you to the Hotel Victor Hugo Paris Kléber during your next visit and we recommend you to visit our Official Website to take advantage of our Best Seasonal Offers. Kind regards, Maguelone Artières Directrice Commerciale
