Located in the heart of the 8th arrondissement of Paris for more than 25 years, The Hotel Le Friedland reopens its doors to its guests in an exceptional environment, just off the historic Champs-Elysees. Designed as a contemporary bourgeois house which combines the charm of an old Parisian home and the quality of the finest hotels. Its excellent location at the crossroads of the Friedland avenue and the Faubourg Saint-Honoré street makes it the perfect place to fully live your Parisian journey. From the entrance, the traveler is surprised by a big colorful stained-glass window that contrast with the peacefulness and serenity of the hotel. He can enjoy the elegant lounge with its magnificent embellished ceiling of great vaults all day long for his generous breakfast or a drink during the evening. Our rooms with lightly and soft hues, are decorated with refinement and simplicity: polished concrete bathroom, velvet and cane headboards and chairs, solid oak parquet. How this hotel gets such top ratings is beyond me . I have reviewed over 1500 restaurants and hotels on TripAdvisor so I think I have a fair idea of what’s good , bad or ugly . I note that on the first page of this hotels excellent reviews 8 out of the 10 are people who have made only done one review/contribution. It is described as “a contemporary bourgeois house which combines the charm of an old Parisian home and the quality of the finest hotels…” I certainly didn’t find the hotel was as described . Its reception is tiny and underwhelming . I didn’t get the feel of “the finest hotels “. The position is good for those keen to explore the Champs Elysee. “…the elegant lounge with its magnificent embellished ceiling of great vaults all day long for his generous breakfast or a drink during the evening. “ I can’t say I found the lounge described but I will say the breakfast was the hilight . It’s a really good selection of cold meats , cheese, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, etc but a small hit selection . “Our rooms with lightly and soft hues, are decorated with refinement and simplicity: polished concrete bathroom, velvet and cane headboards and chairs, solid oak parquet…” Likewise our bedroom had none of the above other than concrete bathroom - see pics . It was carpeted , no wooden floors; dark green wobbly mini side tables; and fabric headboard and for the rest it was vanilla . We didn’t have a new-reason machine either that I read about . Maybe only certain rooms get that ? It does have lovely bed linen and the bed was comfortable . If a good location and a good breakfast are enough for you then this is your spot but I would not rate it a 4 star . …

The rooms were clean, beds were very comfortable and the service excellent! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious as well. The curtains allowed darkness to be achieved for best sleeping. My only disappointment was the partial shower door in tub shower.

nice view from room, very satified of quality the room cleaning. nice receiptionist I could have good hospitality of her. the hotel was close to main street. breakfast was not very special but good enough for biz trip.

I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, the rooms are beautiful and the staff are so incredibly friendly and accommodating. My sister and I actually ran into abit of an issue at another hotel and demanded and refunded and we booked hotel Le Friedland last minute and we couldn’t be more thankful we did!!! I would recommend this hotel to literally everyone! My sister and I have been travelling all of Europe and we come from Australia and it’s definitely worth the money 🙌🏼 thank you to all the staff who were kind from the very moment we walked in😊

Great location Front desk staff helpful all the time and assisted where necessary. Breakfast was excellent but perhaps the cooked breakfast with an alternative would be nice such as instead of beans or sausage an alternative,Otherwise a lovely stayand room is perfect.

We stayed there for 5 nights in August 2023. This hotel is NOT a 4-star hotel. We (my husband and I) had a room with a double bed facing the Main street. 1. It was way too noisy, traffic, sirens, people taking loudly. 2. The room is ridiculously small, you could not possibly fit a regular size suitcase in the room, only carry-ons would fit (only a maximum of 2). 3. The towels were very old and thinned out. 4. The room was carpeted, old carpets with burn marks or holes on them, yuk. The staff were very nice and the location is convenient. If you are looking for a 4-star hotel this is not it, 3-star is very generous for this place.

Dear 449menhrnazt, I am sorry to read that your stay did not go as you expected. You have booked a standard room and in Paris for a 4-star hotel, we are ok for this surface of standard rooms. Our rooms are equipped with double windows to allow better sound insulation because we are in the heart of Paris. I'm sorry these aren't performing as well as you'd like. Indeed, I checked your bedroom carpet has stains, we left the order for the replacement but the deadlines are imposed on us by our suppliers (mostly in August). I hope you will want to come back next time for a better experience because the staff and the place suited you perfectly. Do not hesitated to contact us directly in this case. Regards Frédéric

I did all the way from Tel Aviv to stay in this hotel for the first time in Paris. Me and my mom had an absolute best vacation ever for her birthday. huge thanks to the best manager & his team. We felt like home. Everything was super good. Definitely coming back! Merci.
