Absolutely charming small hotel on a quiet street convenient to buses, metro, shopping, and the Maubert market. Rooms are small but perfectly adequate and comfortable. Housekeeping do an incredible job. The beds are comfortable. We opted for the breakfast a couple of times and it was very good value for money, but most days we set off and grabbed a croissant or similar nearby. It's notable that Notre Dame and most other major sights are very close by. We had an unexpected issue pop up that required us to extend our stay by a week and the hotel was very kind and accommodating. The staff at the desk were always polite and professional. The honor bar and lounge on the -1 floor were comfortable for relaxing and also for working when needed. Also it's good to know that there is a laundromat literally steps away, around the corner, so you can under-pack. We really enjoyed the service, comfort, and location and we would not hesitate to return.

On the good side this is a well positioned hotel that looks pretty much exactly as the photos. The hot water is great, the lift works, the beds are ok, the room is nicely laid out (we had the slightly bigger one) with modern fittings and the heating was fine. On the downside they strongly prefer that each room is given one access key that you drop off and pick it up from reception when you enter/exit the property. This was ok for the first couple of days but on a longer stay it started to feel weird - note that you can insist on two keys. The biggest issues we had in our room was noise - from the elevator, from the cleaner in the morning banging around the vacuum cleaner that seems to permanently live in the corridor during the day, the 2am linen truck delivery and related use of the lift with clanging and banging or pipes from the upper levels so that we clearly knew when someone flushed a toilet or took a shower. It’s just not a 4 star feeling when you have to step over the vacuum cleaner to open your room door on multiple occasions. The hotel was very full and on two days we were out in the morning and returned around 1.30pm to find the room not done and as soon as we stepped inside, we got the knock offering to clean the room. It started to feel like this was intentional, particularly as they clearly know when the occupants are out because we hand in the key and we were out no later than 9am in the morning. We were perplexed by this hotel - it’s great if you are visiting for a few days and want easy access to key sites. For a longer stay or for those wanting a slightly quieter or less touristic area, maybe this isn’t the best option.

Hotel Jardin de Cluny is a hidden Gem on a quiet side street in the Latin Quarter. There is a small market within 50 meters and the Maubert Metro stop is a 200 meter walk. Number of cafes and bistros close by.
Hotel Jardin offered great value in the Paris Hotel market. Rooms are decent size, modern, well maintained and very clean as is the whole Hotel.
In a city as busy as Paris this Hotel borders on quaint with a small town friendly feel. Staff standout was Andrea at the front desk – more than front desk staff she is a consummate consigliere and transportation coordinator; this woman not only knows the city but understands what works for tourists overwhelmed with endless options.
A pleasant surprise was the Jardin continental breakfast. 15E but well worth it. Good selection of meats and cheeses, some hot entrees, juices and of course endless coffee. What I especially enjoyed about breakfast was it is served in a brick grotto in the base of the hotel. Chief cook, waitress, and dishwasher is Anna, she does it all: was courteous as well as efficient always smiling.
For an American in Paris I thought this Hotel offers a high quality stay at a reasonable price; good bang for the Euro (or buck ($)).

This was a fantastic find. Located in the Latin quarter this hotel is an ideal place to stay for easy access to the sites of Paris. Easy access to multiple metro station, convenience stores, and restaurants. We easily walked to Notre Dame and Louvre.
The staff is superior. We were greeted by Andrea upon arrival, very friendly and accommodating. She's a wealth of knowledge and provided us great recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and just about anything we needed help on.
For an additional 15 Euro, a superb continental breakfast is available each morning.
Anna prepared the daily continental breakfast that included breads, pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, charcuterie, and smoked salmon. Delicious everyday.
The rooms were cozy and very comfortable with the standard amenities you expect at upscale hotels. I would gladly stay here again next time I'm in Paris.

Let’s start with the pros. This was a great location, which made it easy to find the metro and food.

The place is also beautifully decorated, and recently renovated. Most of the staff were also very kind, and charming.

Cons: If you’re not a local, and already programmed on their time zone, it’s hard to get any sleep. The cleaners started pretty early in the morning and the walls are paper thin. We could hear every movement, because the rooms weren’t sound proof. We also heard an argument one morning. It was tough to get sleep here after the first 2 days.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Jardin de Cluny. The decor is so lovely! Rooms were well appointed, small fridge and blower dryer was provided. The location was great, very close to the Latin quarter, Le Marias, subway stop, and a great boulangerie for croissants is right around the corner and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We stayed 4 nights at Hotel Jardin De Cluny and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The hotel is centrally located and a short stroll from the busy Latin Quarter. Our room was decorated so tastefully, we stayed on the 4th floor and every need was catered for. Breakfast was delicious, such a wide and varied choice with so many hot and cold options. But it is the staff at this hotel that make it so special- in particular Andrea at Reception who welcomed us so warmly, gave us great advice and information and even offered us her own umbrella when there was a sudden downpour! A HUGE thank you to Andrea and all the team at Hotel Jardin De Cluny for making our stay in Paris so memorable and so special !

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to everything but very quiet. Staff were friendly , especially Andre who was welcoming and extremely helpful. We arrived very early in the morning but were able to store our luggage until the room was ready. The decor was lovely and our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. There was a very good selection for breakfast. Highly recommended.

Very central area, full of shops, restaurants, metro stops. Close to the Pantheon and Notre Dame. As always in Paris, the room was very small, even though they kindly provided us with a bed a little larger than the usual French bed. Clean, but carpeted floors. We didn't try breakfast. Careless staff who forgot the night before to book us a taxi to the airport. At our request, the kind owner didn't check at first, then, seeing that the taxi wasn't arriving, she tried to fix it, but luckily we were early because the taxi arrived after half an hour.

As a mother-daughter pair traveling to both Europe and Paris for the first time, we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Jardin de Cluny. The hotel is perfectly located centrally in the Latin Quarter, yet tucked away on a very quiet pedestrian-only street. The rooms were beautifully decorated, and a good size for two people traveling together.

However, our favorite part of our stay was the hotel staff. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and the person there almost feels like a “room parent” who collects your key as you come and go. This made us feel incredibly safe as two women traveling, and I (the daughter) would feel very comfortable staying here on a future solo trip to Paris. The staff was so friendly to us as U.S. travelers, and they allowed us to add on the hotel breakfast for our last day, which we can’t recommend enough. If you’re looking for a charming, safe, family-run boutique hotel for a great value, this is the place!
