Cozy little room with Eiffel Tower views. Not much room for suitcase, but nice bathroom/shower. And the bed is good. The staff is nice and welcoming. The breakfast is not much to brag about. I asked for gluten free options before booking, and they said yes. They gave me unprepared bread, and I had to heat it myself in the same toaster as normal bread.. This is not okay at all… Also they were really slow on cooking/offering eggs/coffee so we found that it was not worth the wait most days.. Would not book breakfast.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy access to many of the most notable sites in Paris including the Eiffel Tower, Musee Rodin, Musee D'Orsay and Les Invalides, all of which are in walkable distance. Will definitely be back

Wonderful hospitality, fantastic view on the Eiffel tower. All special requests were accepted. Very close to metro stations, Eiffel tower, Invalides Palace and others. Fantastic brasseries around hotel. I strongly recommend this place.

The Hotel is fantastic and very well located for exploring Paris. However, be prepared for the compact room sizes. The Hotel Saint Dominique, which was once a Convent for Nuns. Pretty quirky but loads of fun. And the staff were wonderful - very warm and friendly. Highly recommended.

I don't know where to start from. We have been living in the hotel for 8 nights and today I lost my patience. 1. Your privacy is not respected here. We have a kid who sleeps in lunch time. We asked to provide room service before or after this time, the response was “yes we will adjust it for you” but in fact they knock at the door (neglecting DND sign), and open it after few attempts of knocking! Another day they called to the room (!) asking if they can provide room service right now or not, needless to say that happened right in the time we asked to not disturb. Guess how many times or room was cleaned? 2 times per 8 days, one of two is when we changed the room and got to the clean one. 2. Starting today the climate control gets mad, it turns on in 90 seconds after I turn it off. I walked downstairs asking for some help, they did something and said “it's turned off from the main control panel, now please check” but nothing changed in a room. I had requested the same twice with no result. Its 1 a.m. and it still works to cool the room at max (Just to remind it's November, the temperature inside must not be as outside). We had an argue and they told me that if it's OK on the main control panel it cannot be different in your room “Why don't you believe me???”. When I said “Why don't you believe me? Go to my room and check - it turns on by itself” they went to my room and checked it and told “I cannot do better”. I don't want my family to get sick, I have no time and another resources to move to another hotel in between of the night, so I turn climate control switch off each 90 seconds so my wife and son could sleep not like on the street. The worst experience I've ever had as a traveler. I believe you may find much better for this price in 500m. Good things: polite ladies at the canteen and reception, great breakfasts, good location.

I was excited to take my wife to Paris - she'd never been to France and had a dream to go. I can say without a doubt that Hotel Saint Dominique made our trip unforgettable, and to use the words of my wife, "a trip of a lifetime". We enjoyed six days in France (mostly in Paris) and this hotel is perfectly situated to see everything this spectacular city has to offer. There is an amazing patisserie (full service bakery really) right down stairs and ~2 more within a 1 min. walk - wonderful location for eating and experiencing all that Paris has to offer. As expected in Europe, the rooms are small and have a minimalistic feel but Hotel Saint Dominique has everything you could possibly need. Great location, great staff, quaint hotel and really modern facilities. From the authentic wooden staircase, to the quintessential courtyard area - this hotel is spot on for a getaway to Paris. My wife and I are foodies and this location has dozens of +4-star restaurants all within a 10 min. walk or quick 5 min scooter ride. When we come back to Paris we will stay here again - for the money there is not much better. Get a street view room - we had a view of the Eiffel Tower out our window!

The front desk was very friendly when checking in but we weren't provided with any information with regard to check-out time and Wifi etc. . The location of the hotel is excellent! Walking distance to the Eiffel tower and various restaurants for breakfast and dinner. The room is relatively small with barely any walking distance around the bed. However, the bed was nice. From the room we were in (#35) we heard people walking up and down the stairs but that wasn't that big of a deal for us. All in all, great place!

The front desk was friendly and helpful. Checkin was easy. The room, while small, was very comfortable and clean, and was made up daily. It was fairly central and within walking distance to many museums and the Eiffel Tower. Our first trip to Paris and we were very pleased with our choice of accommodations.

I am a seasoned and frequent international traveler and lucky to have spent a lot of time in Paris. The Saint Dominque Hotel is not a 4 star property. I paid $470 dollars for a room that was barely 175 square feet including the bathroom. There was no room to walk around the bed. There was barely space enough to open my suitcase. No drawers for clothing storage. The decor was tired and needed updating. The property was otherwise clean. The exterior hallway leading to my room was completely dark and missing light bulbs, I had to use the flashlight on my phone. I was extremely disappointed and my room was not even close to a $470 a night experience. The hotel should be rated 3 stars. My room #6 should be a $225 a night.

My husband and I enjoyed our second stay at Hotel Saint Dominique. Our room was clean and comfortable, the building is charming, and staff are great. The neighbourhood can't be beat for amenities, plus, step out the door and look right to see the most ivonoc building in Paris - maybe in the world. We hope to return for a third stay, someday.
