We picked the Best Western Montcalm for our stay in paris, the room was clean, fresh and modern but small which is what is expected in Paris. It's in close walking distance to Lidl and 30mins from the Eiffel Tower. Make sure you use UBER as taxi drivers will rip you off here.

The hotel is very small, the rooms are particularly small. The service was friendly and the rooms were clean and tidy. The hotel is close to the exhibition centre and a collection if amazing restaurants. In terms if value it was way overpriced, clearly they are capitalising on

We thank you for your comment. The price of the breakfast is 13€ not 15€, it's the normal price for a three stars hotel. Moreover if you book directly with us, you have a discount of 50% on the price of the breakfast, so 6.50€ instead 13€. We hope to see you again for your next stay in Paris Best regard's The manager

The hotel will direct you to a parking garage that is around the corner from the hotel. Our friends came by car and parked thier car there for the week. Not sure on the pricing but I know they paid the parking garage directly.

We actually booked a private vehicle from Charles De Gaulle Airport to the hotel and the same for the return trip back to the airport. It cost about 55-65 euros and was well worth the cost for myself and my son, as we had never been to Paris before. And yes, we did tip the driver. It is a long distance between the airport and hotel. We booked the private vehicle via email to the hotel, whose staff graciously arranged to have someone meet us at the airport. We simply provided exact information on the airline we were traveling on, the flight number and arrival time. Once we were at the hotel, I simply made a request at the front desk and a driver picked us up at the appointed time and safely delivered us to the airport. Paris is a huge city with very heavy traffic at all hours. We found this to be the best way to get to and from the hotel to the airport.

there are several charming restaurants within two blocks of the hotel, including a charming practically next to the hotel, where we had breakfast three times. The hotel itself has a lovely breakfast buffet, which is great if you have a big appetite, as I think it was about 20 euros. For coffee, juice and fresh rolls, try the lovely cafe on the corner. There is a Starbucks right across the street too. Also just ask the hotel front desk staff and they will be quick to recommend several other restaurants within walking distances, as well as bakeries with an amazing array of melt in your mouth pastries and more. We were looking specifically for French restaurants, and knew enough French to figure out what was on the menus. The wait staff was very kind to answer questions about words I did not understand. We found everyone at the restaurants to be very friendly. If you will just say "bonjour" when you arrive and "merci beaucoup" when your waiter comes to bring whatever to the table, including menus, you will be treated well.

"Calm and nice decorated rooms"
"The double room in the back is a must for families since it's just like a Garden Villa in the middle of Paris. Simply charming."
"For peace and quiet choose 6th floor."
"Try not to get a room next to the lift, as the walls are thin and you can hear it."
"The single rooms downstairs are very good. There is no noise problem in the Montcalme, either A/C or external."
