Just stayed 4 nights in this lovely hotel during the Olympics.
The location is excellent with some nice shops and restaurants all nearby as is the metro. Many other main attractions are all walkable. The hotel is lovely its spotlessly clean and well decorated in a modern attractive manner. ALL the team were so helpful and informative. Breakfast is buffet self serve and really nice. There was some confusion over the room I had booked (probably mainly my fault) and it was sorted quickly and quietly and professionally - well done as this could have spoiled the experience. The balcony is a nice place to spend quite time recovering from your walking! So a really pleasant place to stay and highly recomended (and I am a bit picky)!!

A lovely hotel. We booked a larger room 23sqm which is big for Paris. It had a sofa and the bed was sooo comfortable. Plenty of room to put your suitcases away with a walk-in wardrobe. This is a really quiet location despite looking onto a street with cafes and restaurants. The room had a Nespresso machine but no milk frothier so we didn't use it as we like our coffee with hot milk. There is 2 small convenience stores next door to buy extra supplies that are open till late, and the metro station madeleine is a short 5-10 min walk away. The hotel is in such a great location in Opera. The staff are lovely here and really make you feel welcome. Special mention to Farouk and the lovely ladies on the front desk whose names escape me, my husband said the lady who usually worked with Farouk was awesome! as were Joanna and Salima in the breakfast restaurant. Breakfast being your usual Parisian spread with eggs bread cheese fruit coffee and pastries. We were due to move to another hotel however I extended the stay here as I loved it so much. Thank you

Hotel in a central and well-connected area, you can easily reach any part of the city. We had the deluxe room with terrace, the most beautiful in the hotel with a beautiful terrace and for Parisian standards a nice spacious room. Abundant breakfast and good cleanliness. Bed and towels changed every day

Nice, clean hotel but I would not rate it as high as all the other reviews. The rooms are very tiny, the bathroom was very Okayish, but that didn’t bother us much. The location is probably the best part of this hotel; very central, everything is within walking distance. The staff was friendly and courteous, but they wouldn’t deliver anything to your rooms (e.g. we asked for an iron, key to the locker box in the room, and each time, we were asked to come downstairs to the reception to collect it). Probably they are a bit understaffed at the moment. In any case, great location to see all the major sights in Paris and there are some nice cozy boulangeries and cafes around.

I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. It all started before arrival; during booking, the hotel blocked the amount for the stay twice. I wrote them a letter with a complaint, to which the hotel replied that it was done by accident, three weeks later they finally unblocked one of the amounts. Arriving at the hotel at 12 at night, the hotel employee did not even try to hold the door for me, although he saw that I was coming in with two suitcases and there was no way to open the door on my own. Check-in to the hotel went even worse; the hotel employee demanded a credit card, which he wanted to scan, but was categorically refused. I was asked to pay the full cost of my stay for the third time, but he told me if I didn’t allow the card to be scanned, he would refuse me check-in. After painful bickering, I finally received the keys to room 101. The room is located 10 cm from the elevator; I have not seen such an old, dirty, shabby, small, uncomfortable room for a very long time. After taking a shower, all the water was poured into the bathroom. The hotel needs renovation.

PROS
* Good location. Easy access to two metro stations. Can walk to many sites.
* Very good front desk. The young lady and tall bespectacled gentleman concierges were always welcoming and helpful.
* Good breakfast onsite
* Bottle of water provided in room for free
CONS
* No hot water for two days (April 25 & 26)
* Tiny bathroom. Maybe 5 x 5 feet (1.524 x 1.534 meters). Perhaps the tiniest shower stall I’ve ever seen, making it easy to accidentally bump into the water control lever.
* Low wattage light in bathroom - not great for applying makeup or for shaving
* Room was small and not what was pictured on the receipt for a double room classic.
* No CNN or BBC television

I really had a bad experience with this hotel that never happened in any other hotel. The morming of the day of the check out they had a connection problem and they told me they were not able to manage payment. I came back in the afteroon and the problem was still there so they told me that they would take the money from the credit card. i asked for the invoice and they told they were not able to do and that they would send to my mail address. I cleraly told them the credit card where to take the money. After several weeks I asked for the invoice as i didn’t see any payment. They took the money from my collegue and sent me two invoices which didn’t match with our rooms or with our payments. I add to manage with a lot of complexity in my account. I wrote them 5 times asking if they can help to solve the problem and they never reply to me. In addition to that every single evening we add to ask to swith the air con on because from the room didn’t work

Dear Marcello, I'm sorry to hear about the frustrating experience you had with our hotel's payment and invoicing process. It's clear that we fell short of providing the level of service and communication that you rightfully expected. We only stayed at this hotel because we ran into issues with our Airbnb host who was uncontactable, and this hotel thankfully had availability at midnight when we needed last minute accommodations. The room size is small but decent. The guy working at the front desk on the night shift was very friendly and empathetic at check in. Note that the elevator is extremely tiny and slow so if you have a lot of luggage you may need to take multiple trips. Rooms are also jam packed close together but thankfully we did not run into noise issues. Our main complaint is that on the second night the thermostat malfunctioned (red blinking light with a service/maintenance “wrench” icon flashing!) and started blowing incessant hot air all through the night so we had to keep a window open. The minibar fridge also stopped cooling and was warm (probably same electrical issue!) so everything we stored in there had to be discarded. Was disappointed that the hotel management did not offer any remedies or credit back for the poor experience we had on the second night; all they said was they would try and do better next time which is frankly not acceptable. We will not be returning in future.

This is a very nice 3 star hotel with attentive staff that elevate the experience. Very clean, quiet, well stocked (but small!) rooms with AC and blackout curtains. Excellent breakfast spread. Great location as a base to walk around the city and see the sights. We walked to Les Tuileries, Louvre, and the Seine everyday and it was convenient to have the Madeline metro stop around the corner to go up to Montmartre. The hop on/off buses are a couple blocks away too. Highly recommend!
