This area is characterized by its namesake avenue which extends northwest from the Louvre to the modern business district, punctuated by the iconic Arc de Triomphe. Grand embassies stand among impressive offices and presidential palaces; architecture from 19th century Universal Exhibitions, homes, art galleries, and 19th century streets designed by Baron Haussmann flank haute-couture boutiques. This
neighborhood never rests, buzzing with visitors from around the world at all times of day and night, all within a stone's throw of the Seine.

The Privilege Room is their largest room that isn't the family room. Our room was the Privilege Double and had a king bed (the Privilege Twin has two twin beds together instead of a king). There is a triple that is the king or two twins and then an extra bed. The didn't have the "triple room" but we had a extra twin bed brought it for an additional charge. We had three people total in our room and there was plenty of space. If you go to their website and click on Privilege Double and that looks just like our room. We put the twin bed up against the wall on the left of the large bed. Our room faced the front of the hotel on the Rue Saint Philippe du Roule and had a balcony. I think our room number was 429. Loved this hotel. Can't say enough about the staff and the property. Definitely I will be back.
