2022 Travelers' Choice Best of the Best
Located in an exceptional area between the Champs-Elysees and Faubourg St-Honore, discover the charm of a authentic Haussman-style hotel. Surrounded by the portraits of the Bradford family, presented in a universe of soft and warm silks, let yourself be seduced by the refined, bright and delicate interior of Bradford Elysees. All rooms are serviced by a magnificient historical lift. All rooms are air conditioned and decorated in classic, elegant colors. Some of our 50 rooms feature house chimneys, remnants of the Haussmann period, whereas others provide balconies for a true Parisian stay Of course, we do not forget the modern touch: All rooms are well equipped with an iPod docking station, cable TV and a minibar. Delicious, varied, and generous breakfast buffet, served each morning under the sumptuous canopy of the bright dining room. Don't forget that you can also enjoy breakfast in the privacy of your room. Whether travelling with your family or on your own, the charm of our hotel, a safe shelter from the bustle albeit a few steps away from the most beautiful avenue in the world, will no doubt bewitch you.

I found this hotel by reading trip advisor reviews. I was a little skeptical of their high rating because a lot of the reviews seemed to be from people who had only 1 or 2 review contributions, which is generally a sign that the reviews are either fake or solicited. However, there were enough reviews from real people (aka people with more than 1 or 2 contributions) who seemed to have the same things to say in their reviews, so I booked it. I was really happy with my choice. One of the things that stood out to me in previous reviews was that the front desk people spoke English and were helpful to tourists. I don't speak French and had never been to Paris, so this was important to me, and turned out to be accurate. We purchased the standard double room w/included breakfast. The bed was queen sized and didn't feel like 2 twin beds pushed together (though I think it was, based on looking under the bed). The breakfast add-on was worth it to us because when we had to get up early to go to a museum, and didn't have time to go out for breakfast, we were able to get enough to eat at the hotel to hold us over until lunch. They always had eggs and bacon or sausage, some pastries, yogurt, applesauce etc. They served really delicious coffee. And they had pastries and tea out for the rest of the day, which was a nice treat to grab when you come back after a long day of sightseeing. I think there is a charge for the breakfast if you don't book it as part of your stay. The beds were comfortable, kind of on the hard side but not in a bad way. The sheets are a bit low quality, kind of scratchy. But the pillows were sufficient, and I never woke up with a knot in my back. They also give you bathrobes and slippers, which was a really nice touch. There's also a tea kettle in your room, and a refrigerator if you bring home leftovers. The bathrooms are small but nice enough. The showers only had a half-wall of shower glass, which made it so water always ended up on the floor unless you turned the showerhead towards the wall. But the showerhead had lots of water pressure, and the water was always piping hot, which is good, because there's no way to control the heat in your room, so if it's cold outside like it was when we visited, you're gonna need a nice hot shower to warm up. There was a nice deep bathtub too. Water pressure in the toilet was terrible. There's no hooks to hang face rags (in fact they don't even give you face rags, they only give you one body towel per person, and one hand towel per person). We brought our own face rags, as well as 3M hooks to hang the rags and towels, which I recommend doing. There's only a couple inches of counter space in the bathroom, and lighting is terrible. The blow dryer they included was actually not bad, it had a lot of power. Another reason I booked this hotel was because it sounded like it was walking distance to a lot of things, or minimally, close to the metro station. That was also accurate. It was super close to the Champs Elysees (basically a 5 minute, 2 block walk, if that). And the metro station was only a 2 minute walk away. You could technically walk to the Louvre and Eiffel Tower if you felt like it, but google maps told us those walks would take a little over a half hour, so we took an Uber. I think the walk probably would have been more than 30 minutes, given the Uber rides took 10-15 min and were always less than €20. Taxis are more popular here than Uber, but as an English speaking tourist, Uber was a lifesaver. For a taxi, you have to call, which means you need to speak French, and you also need a phone that allows international calling. The one time we tried to take a taxi, we asked the front desk to call for us, and then the taxi never showed up, so we used the Uber app to book an Uber, and did so for the rest of the trip. Uber always showed up within 5 minutes, and you didn't need to speak French to tell them where you were going, because the app already tells them. Highly recommend using Uber here even though Taxi's seem to dominate. We used the metro only 1 time, and that was to get to Versailles (you take the metro to another station, then have to walk across the street to catch the RER-C that gets you to Versailles). That turned out to be super easy, but you should give yourself an extra 15 minutes to figure it out. The front desk at the hotel gave us the directions, and then showed us the app to download that would give us all the metro directions. It's called "Bonjour RATP." That was really helpful. One more thing that I really appreciate about the customer service from this hotel was that when I was in Italy prior to arriving in Paris, my flight was cancelled due to an air traffic control strike. The only way the airline could guarantee I would get to Paris within the week was to go a day earlier than planned. I was able to call the hotel, and they were able to get me into a room for the extra night at the same rate that I had booked the rest of my stay for. Everyone at the front desk was made aware of the early arrival, and the need to change rooms after that first night, and they were very helpful to me with this. I was really relieved because I wasn't sure how I was going to figure out where to go otherwise. The customer service here was really great! I would 100% stay here again if coming to Paris and as an American tourist who unfortunately can't speak any language besides English, I was super thankful to find a place to stay that was able to help me find my way around. It was comfortable and convenient, and it was in an area that I felt safe walking in at night.

The hotel is in a very nice location, not far from the Louvre or the Arc de Triomphe, and just blocks off the Champs Elysees, and close to metro station. Hotel has a nice breakfast and complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the afternoon, and complimentary water and juice and soft drinks in the room. Nice antique elevator, and very helpful and friendly staff. Special thank you to Amin who was very patient and helpful to two first time visitors to Paris. Would stay again

Excellent location and a very nice property. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Just a brief 10 minute walk to the Champs Elysees. Had the triple room with a view to the Eiffel Tower. Very traditional looking property adds to the ambience.

I last visited Hotel Bradford Elysees back in July 2021 for work and they were so incredibly helpful and lovely throughout my time at the hotel, especially during such a sensitive travel time with COVID-19 being very alive and well. In fact, the terms in order to get back into the US changed during my stay and the hotel and their staff were amazingly helpful and accommodating, helping to set up my rapid covid test hours before my flight was to depart and even assisting with my airline booking as well. I don't know what I would've done without them! Regarding the hotel, this is officially my go-to stay in Paris. It's a perfect boutique hotel, situated on a quiet corner yet perfectly located to easily access everything the city of lights has to offer. Extremely clean with beautiful rooms - most of which have a juliette balcony - they also serve a gorgeous breakfast, with many options, in their beautiful dining area and also puts out snacks for late afternoon tea as well. There's also a midnight bar that allows you the perfect nightcap without hesitation. Again, the staff does everything in their power to create a pleasurable and memorable experience for everyone and I can't suggest it enough for a lovely yet affordable stay in Paris!

We stayed at the Hotel Bradford for 5 nights and they’re great! Can’t recommend them enough. They offered a free mini bar in our room that they refill, they had complimentary snacks for guests everyday from 2 pm to 2 am. They have a honesty bar where you go make your drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and you write down what you drink and you’re charged. Very reasonably priced as well. It’s also located right off the champs élysées so it’s easy to get around whether you’re taking a cab, an Uber or the metro! Amin at the front desk is the best and very helpful and accommodating!
