Because of covid 19 France was closed to US residents. However, this hotel would not refund our money. They used this national disaster to make money off US residents. There is a place in hell for the owners of this hotel.
Nice hotel close to train station and walking distance to Eiffel tower. Staff are all very helpful and friendly. Room is a bit dark and small but still good enough for 2 people maybe just more brighter lights.
Even there is no swimming pool, still, my family and I really did enjoy our stay in this hotel for the following reasons: 1. Good customer service especially from Guillaume 2. Good view of the junior suite room 3. Accessible location For detailed review of the hotel, please see below: Room: The room given to us is located on the top floor with a good view of the Eiffel Tower. The junior suite room has two balconies which give different access and different views. In the room, you can find the contemporary Nespresso machine but no complimentary water. The room also has a mini bar but does not contain anything — but probably you can use if you buy some drinks from outside :-) It also has two television — one in the bedroom and one in the living room. Even though in my opinion, that, for a junior suite, the room is a bit smaller — it was compensated by the view and a big King bed that my family love. Toilet/Bathroom: The toilet is quite spacious, and they provided basic amenities and complimentary toiletries. Unlike other hotels which does not have a lotion, this hotel has it. And yes, the toilet has a separate washing bowl. Breakfast: Your typical European breakfast :-| Staffs/Customer Service: The staffs are friendly. I also like the idea of having a little passport for the children which they would stamp with sticker every day. My son at least appreciated this and made an effort to not miss a single ticker. Moreover, I would like to commend Guillaume (William) as he was the one who always there to help us and he really provided a good customer service. Thumbs up to this guy. We also appreciated the effort they made of giving a token (chocolates, cookies and drinks) to expressed that they were sorry about the alarmed that has been triggered one of the nights, which really did not bother us, but I think this is a good move from their end. So, two thumbs up for the customer service. Location/Transportation: The hotel is located in the centre which gives you easy access to Eiffel Tower and Champs-Elysees — no need to take the public transportation as these top tourist destinations are only few steps away from the hotel. Small Hiccups: 1. We got problem in switching on the lights, so we have to figure out which light would open based on the switch combination. 2. We forgot our passports in the vault and we only figured it out when we were about to check in our new hotel near Disneyland. Admittedly, this was our problem as we have forgotten it, but if ever the vault has been checked by the house keeping after we left, this has been found out and handed over to us a bit early as we still stayed and went back in the hotel’s lobby 4 -5 hours after we vacated the room. I should have at least saved 2 hours of travelling :-(…
As a long time B&B owner in the past I myself was very disappointed with this hotel. We stayed here as we were touring visiting my sister who was also at the hotel. The difficulty in booking the room directly was impossible and had to use a 3rd party site, as well as the staff more interested in the money than anything. The high price of the breakfast which was not attended to was not worth it. The location was great however.
Service provided was excellent, and very warm ambiance. Remarkable the professionalism and kindness of the employees. I really felt like at home. They were vigilant to every detail and really concerned with customer experience.
