Upon arrival, Concierge was friendly. Room was clean. Location is great. Close to the Louvre (3-4 blocks) but not in the hustle and bustle of it which can at times get chaotic around there. Little bazaar like… as for the rooms, all themed around famed french people so you got to be into it because “Marie” can be a little bit in your face. Only negative is that the carpet needed to be stretched and the shampoo, body wash and conditioner bottles were reused/refilled incorrectly so at first I was washing my hair with body wash… overall good experience and my favorite thing to do was open the windows, lay in bed and here the little street cafe chatter from the room.
This hotel is everything it's cracked up to be - including very boutique. The rooms are fine (for Paris) and beautifully furnished. But there are only six narrow rooms, stacked atop one another. The staff leaves at 9 PM daily. The older Indian man who is the cleaner proudly told me that I'd be the only guest in the hotel. In fact, I was the only person in the entire building. There are certainly security measures in place. The door was allegedly alarmed. There's a phone I could have used to call for help. But the idea of being alone in a building that I cannot control nor even check the security of was....unsettling. If a fire broke out below me...if someone broke in...I'm all alone in a country whose language I am not overwhelmingly fluent in. So, YES, recommended but NOT for females travelling alone.…
Pretty hotel in a great location, other than that it was awful. The WiFi and tv didn’t work. Their tv can only play from apps which run on WiFi which in turn overloaded/ slowed down their wireless router and their broadband wasn’t strong enough to support all the rooms. We asked for 2 single beds and they gave us one bed. We said it was fine but asked for at least 2 separate blankets. They said they would get it for us but they never did. The bathroom shower door was so hard to open as the floor is slanted so you had to scrape the door across the floor to open it and get in. They are only staffed 7AM-9PM so if you plan on doing late check in there will be no one there to help you be or if there are any issues.
Small quirky hotel near the Louvre so really convenient for Pont Neuf, the Seine , Tuileries etc surrounded by cafes and bars, the rooms are individually themed , one per floor, very clean , very comfortable bed , plenty of space, nice bathroom and the staff were exceptional, so friendly and helpful , the only down side is the closeness of a few bars which can be noisy late evening and we could hear them even with the double glazing and lovely thick curtains but this is the centre of a busy area. We would still be very happy to stay here again, it gives a true flavour of Paris , so much better than the soulless corporate hotels
Stayed six nights and would love to go back, 150% thanks to the service we received. All the people at the front desk were extremely friendly, engaging and helpful. We always felt welcomed - I can't say enough good things about the service we received and how much we liked everyone we met at the hotel. We stayed at the Marie Antoinette room, which was nice and spacious. The facilities weren't the newest, but they were perfectly fine and everything was functional. The hotel is small (only one room per floor) and I was very impressed at how well stocked the hotel was. Great housekeeping everyday too. Bed was comfortable, pillows were fine. Slept very well. Awesome awesome location, in the middle of everything, easy to get to and close to a major metro stop. It felt safe because there was always activity at night thanks to its central location, but it wasn't loud at night, so it's really a good balance. Thanks again for a wonderful stay, hope to be back again soon.…
Amazing experience! Staff was wonderfully friendly, accommodating & professional. Service was bespoke to our needs (we traveled with a baby) Our room was also very clean and quiet. Could not recommend a better place to stay right in the center of Paris!
Paris is a great city, and I had high expectations. The hotel and the fabulous owner lifted my spirit in a manner that only Paris can achieve. A passionate and intimate hotel that feel like a cross between a private apartment and an intimate club I. The heart of one of the best locales in Paris. If your looking for an authentic Paris experience, this is the place. If you want a massive hotel with a mob scene Pass
The manager was absolutely fantastic. Location was right next to the Louvre. I left my jacket in a taxi and the manager went above and beyond trying to help me. Rooms are themed and nice. Wifi worked well, which is important to me since I need access for work. Highly recommend!
I stayed in this hotel for two nights. The location is perfect. It is close to everything. If you are expecting a traditional hotel with a lobby and 100 rooms, this is not a hotel for you. This hotel has only 6 rooms and each room is on one floor. the decoration is unique and the wonders make you feel like a guest at their home. one of a kind experience.
This hotel is simply wonderful. We arrived late due to some transfer issues but this was no problem for the hotel. Location can’t be beat. The staff were very accommodating. Only has 6 rooms but with all the amenities you would expect from a chain hotel. We will return.
