For 12 years we have been staying at the Hotel Ares Paris. This is by far a great hotel to have a Parisian experience. It is a short walk to restaurants, Bistros, and the Tour de Effiel. What makes this hotel special are the owners and the team at the hotel. Each and every individual makes you feel welcome and as if you are the only guest in the hotel there is not just service but true hospitality. We have stayed at hotels from the Ritz Paris to Plaza Athenee and now will only stay at the Ares. If you want to feel like you are home and not a tourist this is the perfect place.

This was my first time staying at the Ares and I was happy with my choice. The hotel has a fantastic location a short walk to the Eiffel Tower, on a lovely street. The rooms were very pretty with a comfy bed and double aspect juliet balconies which I liked. Bathroom was large and all was clean. The room wasn’t huge, but expected in Paris. Would recommend.

Was in Paris on business. The hotel has its limitations but the staff and management do what they can with what they've got. Rooms are small and free space is limited by the size of the bed. I was a single but having another person in he room would have been tight. Elevator small but fairly speedy. Room bathrooms were a decent size and the overhead shower was outstanding. Street noise is minimal. Complimentary fitness center around the corner from the hotel was also quite nice. Breakfast was a disappointment. I was there 4 days and no menu change. Basic stuff. When I come to Paris I always get hot chocolate for breakfast but that was not offered. Plusses - friendly staff, fitness center, shower, quiet. Minuses - breakfast, hot chocolate, room size.

Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your impressions after your stay at the Hotel Ares Eiffel. We are pleased to know that you enjoyed staying at our hotel even if there are small details that you did not appreciate as much, such as the lack of hot chocolate for breakfast: we thank you because with your comments, you help us to improve the service we can give our guests. We also thank you for pointing out the friendliness of the staff, the fitness centre, and the hotel's ideal location. I am surprised by your remark about our rooms, they are decorated in an elegant "chic Parisian" style and have all the modern comforts one would expect for a stay. The surface area of our rooms is well indicated on our booking platforms, sorry if it surprised you. We have designed our rooms to be practical, optimising space and respecting the existing old building.I hope we will be able to welcome you back for another French experience .Kindest Regards, Enrico and his team

The Ares Hotel is the perfect place to stay to enjoy the amazing city of Paris at its fullest. Perfectly located in a nice a quiet area, close to the Eiffel Tower (some of the hotel rooms in the upper floors have a fantastic view of the tower, you can fall asleep and wake up watching her!) and with all the public transport available. The staff of the hotel is welcoming and very nice to their guests, they took care of us and gave us all the comforts. The breakfast is very tasty, rich, and served in a cozy room at the ground floor. Worth to mention, the entire building has been furnished with an amazing taste, resulting in a very elegant, unique and warm environment. The room was super clean and was including all the amenities needed. We are already planning our next trip to Paris and we will choose Ares again! Great place!

This hotel is in a great location. The rooms are clean and our towels were changed daily even though we didn’t expect it. The reception area is lovely and the staff were really friendly. My husband and I value our sleep and unfortunately 3 families were put in the rooms across the hall, next door and down the hall. They insisted on putting their doors on latch when they got home late every night 11pm onwards. The children and adults would run down to the halls, slam doors and shout loudly until 1am. This made the hall light come on and shine into our room. Even though my husband politely told them to keep the noise down they continued. We found this really disrespectful and to be honest we did not expect this from a hotel that charged us over £200 a night . The pillows were really uncomfortable and felt like they’d been stuffed with cotton wool, so I think this needs to be looked at. I think the hotel needs to consider what guests they are putting in which rooms/parts of the hotel. As much as we enjoyed Paris, we were thankful to be home in our own bed with no interruptions.

The hotel and hotel staff were lovely however you go to a hotel to sleep. Not soundproofed as more modern hotels would be so if you value your sleep I would avoid. The walls are paper thin and unfortunately we had a large group of students staying during our short stay. We could hear chairs scraping/talking/slamming doors and the sound of the shower going off late at night. When we told the lady at reception she basically just shrugged and said we should’ve told the night porter. I don’t think this would’ve helped much, only to a certain degree as the building is old. Just people living in their hotel room, which isn’t a problem in most hotels where rooms are soundproofed. We’ve had better/more understanding responses from other hotels and we were disappointed with this response. Btw, we weren’t asked how our stay was during our stay during check out. I value my sleep so therefore would not recommend or come back to this hotel. But if you are after a lovely Parisian hotel it is nice.

My wife and I stayed three nights in early March. Loved the room and it had a balcony. It is a wonderful hotel on a quiet street, but close to the metro, restaurants, bakeries, and about a 12-minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. They have a complimentary Tea Service (with croissants and French Rolls) at 16:30 which was very nice after a day of walking Paris. The staff was very informative and friendly. The Manager, Enrico is fantastic. We will stay there again, and told my daughter she needs to stay there on her next trip.

The hotel is beautiful and ideally located a short walk from the Eiffel Tower. It has great transport links with an amazing selection of restaurants, shops and even a chemist right on it's door step. The staff couldn't do enough to help us and resolve a small problem with our room promptly. The manager of the hotel even gifted me a bottle of perfume by way of apology even though they had already resolved the issue. No request was too much. The staff were amazing! I went with my other half from London for my 40th birthday and was not disappointed. We will be back, and would highly recommend to others.

I did not enjoy my stay, the walls are paper thin which means you could hear the slightest noise from the neighboring room and the hallways. This place is not what it used to be, it's starting to look unkempt and rundown.
