Detailed Reviews
My wife and I had a great experience at this hotel. The rooms were updated with new bathrooms but still old Paris charm in the molding around the ceiling and bed. The bed....was......ridiculously....comfortable. Air conditioning is strong and water pressure on the shower is top notch.
If you see ant negative reviews, ignore them. Those people are just looking for things to complain about.
The owner was the nicest man and the staff we all exceptional. My wife and I will stay here again in the future in a heartbeat. Easy access to the Metro, walkable to the Eiffel Tower and plenty of shops and restaurants around the corner, without getting all the street noise. You will not regret staying here!

This hotel is located at about a distance of one mile from Eiffel Tower, the walk is good through they Paris alleys dotted by nice restaurants and cafes. The owner Enrico, was impeccable with his personalized service, during check in and check out. Despite his age, he literally helped me with my luggage and stuff. Its location is also quite attractive as it is in a quiet lane with not much street noise. Rooms are also quite comfy.

Room was lovely, elegant, relaxing. The bathroom amenities were high quality and spa like. It was tremendously relaxing to return to this room after long days of work. The neighborhood is relaxed, a bit residential. There are numerous reasonably priced and high quality places to eat right around the corner, as well as a market for fresh fruit and snacks. Subway is two blocks away, making this a tremendously convenient neighborhood.

This hotel is in a great location. The rooms are clean and our towels were changed daily even though we didn’t expect it. The reception area is lovely and the staff were really friendly. My husband and I value our sleep and unfortunately 3 families were put in the rooms across the hall, next door and down the hall. They insisted on putting their doors on latch when they got home late every night 11pm onwards. The children and adults would run down to the halls, slam doors and shout loudly until 1am. This made the hall light come on and shine into our room. Even though my husband politely told them to keep the noise down they continued. We found this really disrespectful and to be honest we did not expect this from a hotel that charged us over £200 a night . The pillows were really uncomfortable and felt like they’d been stuffed with cotton wool, so I think this needs to be looked at. I think the hotel needs to consider what guests they are putting in which rooms/parts of the hotel. As much as we enjoyed Paris, we were thankful to be home in our own bed with no interruptions.

Upon arrival my friends and I were able to check into our rooms early. It was me and my 2 kids we had a larger room with king bed sitting area clean linen nice tub heater tower rack with a great view of the Eiffel Tower. My friends room were smaller but great for 2 and standing shower. The breakfast was amazing. It was walking distance from plenty of food restaurants. They were able to get us all transportation to airport on day of departure. The owner was on site and very friendly. Even with COVID still being active they had cleaners cleaning and sanitizing everyday. Would definitely book when in Paris again.

We were immediately surprised by the welcoming energy of the place, the result of an elegant architectural design (without pomp) and a fantastic team.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. As it was our honeymoon, we were given an upgrade to the best room, with a delightful balcony. In all rooms, the quality of the furniture, bed linen, towels and amenities draws attention.
The hotel has a new elevator, bathroom with shower (without those dangerous bathtubs), air conditioning/heating and modern facilities inside, preserving a typical Parisian façade. Rarities in hotels that don't cost a fortune in Paris.
Especially surprising is the location.
The neighborhood is more frequented by locals than tourists, but it is just a few metro stations away from all points of interest in the city.
In fact, the hotel is just 180m from a station, where lines 6, 8 and 10 leave.
We only needed to transfer a few times (it was never necessary to make more than one transfer to get to a location).
Line 6 sails partially on the surface, over a bridge that crosses the Seine. From there, we have a privileged view of the tower.
Surrounding the hotel, there are 2 markets less than 250m away (among them, a huge Monoprix), pharmacies less than 200m away, and spectacular restaurants/cafes (of all prices). There are restaurants, cafes, bars with a typical tourist Paris vibe, but also regular bars that seem to be frequented by university students.
Despite being a very lively neighborhood, with squares, parks, fairs, bars, schools, cafes and restaurants (always busy), the room was very quiet and the bed super comfortable. The hotel is on a street parallel to the
Av. de La Motte-Picquet, preserving the
silence and residential atmosphere.

The Hotel Ares is a very refined Boutique Hotel, located very close to the Eiffel Tower in a quiet area from which any attraction or neighborhood in Paris can be easily reached by taxi or Uber.
The clean and well-kept rooms have very comfortable beds and pillows.
The added value is given by the ownership,
Mr. Enrico and his wife Malikà,
always available, they provided us with very useful advice on where to eat, shop and how to move around Paris easily!

The front desk personnel were very helpful with information on the best local family friendly restaurants, bookstores, shopping centers and even the nearest laundromat. The rooms were neat and clean with modern bathroom fixtures. In these COVID times, it was nice to have clean sheets and towels each day

As newlyweds, we had a wonderful stay with Mr. and Mrs. Cassimirri and their team at Hotel Ares Eiffel in Paris.
The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood only 2 min. walk from the more lively streets, the metro and several supermarkets.
Everyone showed us the outmost hospitality and kindness and the room was cleaned beyond satisfactory every day. All our questions regarding current restrictions were answered as well making traveling during the pandemic much easier.

The hotel and hotel staff were lovely however you go to a hotel to sleep. Not soundproofed as more modern hotels would be so if you value your sleep I would avoid. The walls are paper thin and unfortunately we had a large group of students staying during our short stay. We could hear chairs scraping/talking/slamming doors and the sound of the shower going off late at night. When we told the lady at reception she basically just shrugged and said we should’ve told the night porter. I don’t think this would’ve helped much, only to a certain degree as the building is old. Just people living in their hotel room, which isn’t a problem in most hotels where rooms are soundproofed. We’ve had better/more understanding responses from other hotels and we were disappointed with this response. Btw, we weren’t asked how our stay was during our stay during check out. I value my sleep so therefore would not recommend or come back to this hotel. But if you are after a lovely Parisian hotel it is nice.

No, this is a small hotel. We took a taxi.
Bonjour,
The room that has separate shower and tub is the executive room which can be
for 3 persons with one double bed + 1 fold-out chair bed.
Yes, we have a lift.
There are a lot of restaurants, supermarkets near by the hotel and the undreground
is at 2 minutes away from the hotel.
In warm breakfast we have scrambled eggs, chicken sausage.
Best regards.
Christine
They serve eggs, sausage, lox, cereals, yogurt, fruit, cheeses, breads, pastries, juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and more. Our shower was in the tub, call the hotel to see if they have a soecific room with seperate shower and tub. Yes, yes, and yes. That us why we love staying here. Very clise to 2 metro stations! Near Franorix and Monoprix. Lots of cafes, restaurants and patisseries! The staff can direct you to anything you need. Fir example, there is a discount pharmacie, I was able to buy skincare and cosmetics at great prices all in one stop. Excellent find.
