The front desk personnel were very helpful with information on the best local family friendly restaurants, bookstores, shopping centers and even the nearest laundromat. The rooms were neat and clean with modern bathroom fixtures. In these COVID times, it was nice to have clean sheets and towels each day The hotel is located on a quiet street within 2 blocks of 2 light rail stations, numerous restaurants, pharmacies, banks, antique stores, a laundromat, a grocery store, a playground, and a florist. It's also less than 3/4 mile from the Eiffel Tower and some tour boats on the Seine.
This hotel is lovely, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the balconies are big. the staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly, the owner introduced himself and he was so nice. I would definitely return and would recommend to everyone.
Charming Boutique hotel located in a residential area with friendly, welcoming and accommodating staff. Nice lobby sitting area Which we utilize on the day we checked out, the front desk staff stored our luggage while we went for one last Parisian meal and a stroll, then went back and hang out there until it was time for us to leave. We had Chamber 22 Classic bedroom decor and modern bathroom with rainforest shower. Lots of hot water. Room was a bit tight for 3 Adults and child. A double bed and two arm chairs that covert to twin beds, we didn’t worry about it too much because we were out and about and had a clean comfortable surroundings to return too, if the suite was available I would have booked. Area is close walking distance to Eiffel Tower & Champs de Mars, you can catch the Big bus tour bus there, I highly recommend getting this, the pass lasts for 24 hours you can hop on hop off it takes you to all the sights in Paris. Hotel Ares is close to lots of restaurants on Av de Suffern and Train station also.…
On a quiet street but it's a nice hotel close to the Eiffel Tower and many restaurants. Check-in and checkout fine. Staff are nice. Rooms are a decent size for Paris, clean, nice decor, good size lift. Bathroom fine with all the usual amenities. Water pressure and heat fine. Wifi fine. Typical price. Did not try the breakfast. No problems at all.
I knew we picked the right hotel when, as we arrived, we were greeted by such a friendly, kind, genuine young man at the reception desk. Our rooms were decorated beautifully and were clean, quiet and air conditioned which was just as well as it was a hot weekend! It was five minutes walk from a great selection of cafes and restaurants but also only 10 minutes walk from the Champs de Mars where you can sit on the grass in full view of the Eiffel Tower and watch it’s light show during the evening. We were recommended this hotel by friends and we were very grateful!
The hotel is clean, the management is extremely nice and the location is perfect, close to subway and restaurant. If you are looking for a nice play to stay, for vacation, i guaranteed that it is the best solution. Also the breakfast was great, nice croissants!
Great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was very clean and comfortable. We highly recommended either for family, couple or business trip; for longer or shorter stay. Also they accommodated a gf breakfast for our coeliac daughter, which was really helpful.
Lovely boutique hotel in quiet residential area minutes walk to restaurants, cafes, convenience stores and public transportation. Our room was small but beautifully appointed, very comfortable and clean, and had 3 juliet balconies! We could see St. Leon church and hear the chimes. Our bathroom was huge (major plus). We were in too much of a hurry in the mornings to try the breakfast buffet. Staff were amazing, the housekeepers were efficient and friendly. I loved hearing one of them humming a song while she worked. They seem happy to be there and that's always a good sign of a well run establishment. There's not many amenities but if you're just looking for a comfy home base (who comes to Paris to camp in your room?) in a QUIET well maintained friendly neighborhood I can't recommend Hotel Ares enough. Thank you for a delightful stay.…
