We stayed there for seven nights, and had a pleasant time. Our room had a partial sight of the Eiffel Tower, it was clean, confortable, and the front desk staff was nice with our requests. It is less than a block from a subway station (Line 12), and I suggest you use it to get to the turistic area. I would reccomend this place to a friend.

The hotel staff were rude and not friendly at all, which is ok however we stayed for a weekend and they did not clean our room, replace towels or even make the bed and when asked about it replied there was an item of clothing on the bed so it was too messy to clean, they then proceeded to charge us £50 because there was make up on a towel.. honesty not a great location and overall experience wouldn’t recommend

Stayed here on a trip to Paris. Staff were very friendly and the rooms clean and tidy. There is a lovely coffee shop on the ground floor and nice restaurants if you decide to stay in for dinner. The roof top bar/restaurant in my opinion was a bit of an anti climax. Service was terribly slow as we waited 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive, that was after I went up to the bar to order and was told that orders are taken at the table. This bar is also ver expensive at 12€ for a pint of beer 7€ for a half pint of beer and 7€ for a glass of coke. Certainly very pricey for a mediocre view of the Eiffel Tour. Would definitely not recommend going to the 7th floor bar. Other than that I can highly recommend the hotel as it is in a great location with some nice restaurants and bakeries in walking distance and the metro station only a 2 minute walk away.

Thank you for your feedback! It was a pleasure serving you and we are happy to see that you had a good time and enjoyed our Coffee shop and our Trattoria downstairs. I am sorry that your experience at our rooftop-bar was not up to your expectations and that the wait was too long. It is definitely something we are going to work on to prevent it from happening ever again. We hope to get the chance to host you again someday. All the best, Andrea - Communication Manager

This afternoon, around 1:30 Pm when I was sitting comfortably at the lounge on the ground floor of the Novotel hotel Vaugirard. A lady from the reception came and told me to leave and go to the cafe area, which I understood and would do as told. However, when she told me to leave, she did not ask the others (who also brought drinks to the hotel's lounge area at the same time as me) so I had to tell her I felt a bit uncomfortable when she treated me like that. Then she asked all of us to leave. I mean, if she had been fair from the beginning, asking if everyone was staying here or not and politely requiring us all to leave, I wouldn’t have felt so disappointed by the service (I thought: Was she judging people by their appearance before asking them to leave?). You know how people feel when they are discriminated and mistreated, right. She did not even say sorry or explained why she did that. I love Novotel anyway except for that experience.

Dear Lucy, I am sorry that you felt that way about the way our Receptionnist spoke to you. I can garantee you that it was in no way spiteful and that she did speak to other people waiting in the lobby, which is made for our hotel guests whilst we have a coffeeshop available for everyone. Rest assured that we will work on our communication so that there is no more misunderstandings in the future. We hope to get the chance to receive you again some other time and show you our savoir-faire. In the name of the team, I beg your pardon. All the best, Andrea - Communication Manager

Great hotel, good location and amazing view of the Eiffle Tower from the roof top bar. Approximately 30 min walk from the tower, 3 mins walk from nearby metro. Comfortable beds, lovely breakfast with a great variety to cater for all. Drinks are pricey on the roof bar, 3 x G&T and an apple juice was €64, but for the view of the sparkly tower at 11pm it was worth it!

Great hotel, in a 2-min walking distance from the metro station coming from the airport great room, breakfast, the staff was very kind! But their Italian restaurant needs to get a better menu, it was my big disappoint. Overall our staying was great!

This was a great hotel to stay in for our 4 nights in Paris. We had a room which was a great size for the two of us plus our 7 year old daughter. All spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and there was a magician entertaining the children on one morning and face painting another (but all done in a very low key way so didn’t disturb those travelling without children at all). Lovely bar area in the main lobby and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The car park was very secure and seemed to have plenty of room. The area of the hotel felt very safe and a short walk to the metro but could also walk to the Eiffel Tower in 30ish minutes. Would highly recommend a stay here.

We went to Paris to celebrate my 50th, we came last year for my wife's but the hotel we stayed at was 1 hour out from the main centre. We did a lot of research and found this hotel which was less than a couple of miles away from the Eiffel Tower and the main tourist areas. We booked this last year at a very good price for 2 adults and 1 child. We also read up of some rooms with the views of the Eiffel Tower which i immediately requested and paid x amount per night for the privilege. We went over by Eurostar which was so easy and hassle free. We arrived before 2 and check in is 3 p.m so went across to this Italian restaurant across the road for lunch and it was amazing! Great service and very reasonable for a meal for 3 plus a few drinks. Check in was quick and easy, was in our room for 3:05 and quickly unpacked as we had tickets fro the Louvre at 4:30. Room top bar that opens from 5 ish until midnight with astonishing views of the Eiffel Tower, our room was amazing and with a 9 year old boy we knew at some point we wouldn't be out to see the tower light up and sparkle but we did, we was also lucky to have booked on the French National Day! 30 minutes of fireworks all from our room! We did Euro Disney one day, train station is only 2 minutes walk from the hotel! Vaurigard and the Metro system is so easy to use with the Moovit App which tells you the lines to get when you put in to and from destinations! One tip that no one put before, we looked at booking a cab on Bookings.com and price was over 61 euros, Uber wasn't too far off that so we was going to try the Metro but we had too much luggage so we queued for a cab (only 6-7 minutes) and the cab cost 29 Euros plus a small tip so i wouldn't book in advance pointless or us the Metro which would be quicker! and only 2 trains which are 3 minutes roughly if you miss one. The rooms were great, the personnel that works all different shifts were extremely polite and welcoming all the time! They couldn't do enough for you! The hotel is situated directly across from the local police station but we never got woken up by sirens ect and i am a light sleeper. We are now planning on returning next year and this visit will be just the wife and myself as we felt bad dragging our son around places we knew he wasnt interested in, well apart from DinseyLand!! And if you do that trip you can purchase fast track numerous times for the same ride which saves you queuing for 45 plus minutes, you can be on a ride in 5! And the train from our hotel for 3 people return was only 25 euros and took 1 hour 15 mins. If you are thinking about staying get it booked, we didnt have the breakfast we bought our own porridge but the breakfast area was always busy!!! If you can get this at a good price book it you would not be disappointed!! The one thing i forgot was when we first went in to my room we came on Thursday 13th July my 50th was on Sunday 16th and we stayed for 4 nights and there was balloons all over the bed which was a nice touch, thank you to everyone at the Novotel !!! We really enjoyed every minute of our stay!!

I’m on the fence about reviewing this hotel; here’s why: Pros: The hotel is in a great location, right next to a metro station, restaurants around, upscale/safe neighborhood, decent view of the Eiffel Tower from room (if you paid extra), basic amenities & that’s about it! Cons: Breakfast - The breakfast is pricey & mediocre (especially if you are a vegetarian, it’s not worth paying for it), the staff/employees weren’t too friendly or helpful, they stop breakfast at 9:30a on weekdays (we showed up at 9:20 one day & the manager was grumpy!), there are lines for their espresso machines & their mugs are super unclean! Front desk - They don’t have a concierge to help with questions or tours or directions. They don’t have bell staff or anyone to even help you with your bags or get cabs. The staff don’t reply to your emails about questions. They didn’t even provide details of hotel amenities, Wi-Fi, breakfast timing, complementary room amenities (practically 1 bottle of water for the whole stay) at checkin. It’s the most inhospitable staff I’ve seen in a 4-star hotel! Room - For an executive room for 2 adults & a kid, it was tiny. With a queen & a sofa bed, there’s no space to walk around (is it normal for Paris standards?). They do not provide any toiletries. I mentioned a few times that it’s our anniversary visit & they did nothing, not even a wish! How lame could that be! Between the breakfast & the ET view, I paid 40% more (yes, my fault) & the view was good but is obstructed with buildings & chimneys. I’m even a Accor member but unsure if I ever want to go back to another Novotel. I’m appalled that this hotel is rated 4-star in Paris!

Good afternoon, I am truly sorry that you had that kind of experience and that you felt that way about your stay here with us. The quality of customer experience and satisfaction are our top priority by far and that does not reflect our standards nor the way we want to host our guests. First of all I am glad that you enjoyed the location. Regarding the breakfast, we have had a few complaints this summer but I am happy to let you know that there has been some changes and it is now underline as one of the customers highlights! For the Front Desk, I am a bit surprised about what you say because we have a team available 24/7 and eager to help you out with anything, from upwards informations to ongoing stay help and cabs bookings. Could you please email me your booking details so that we can trace what happened (cm.rs.accor@mail.com)? In the end, concerning the Room, it is not huge but it is at the norms of Paris (even a bit higher) and we provide everything upon request (given the ecological issue, we tend to reduce the consumption of single-doses). Should you be back in Paris, do not hesitate to reach out to me directly and I will see if we can make it up to you. Looking forward to hear from you, Sincerely, Andrea - Communication Manager
