Never in my life was I given a room that was already occupied… and I found out about it when I entered the room in the middle of the night after a late check-in! 330 Euros for a shoebox is excessive! The hotel staff was barely apologetic: I will not stay there again!

After spending 5 nights at this hotel, I can well and truly say we will not be returning! The hotel room is very basic for what you pay, the bathroom smells, not very clean, yellow stains on the mattress! The sheets are not fitted, so you wake up with them all over the place! Carpets are dirty, had to ask reception twice for our rooms to be cleaned and more toilet paper, as this had not been stocked/cleaned for 3 days! One day we decided to have breakfast at our hotel which cost EUR 39, for 2 people, absolutely shocking breakfast, again very minimal, dirty plates, and generally overpriced for what it was! My advice would be to go to the boulangerie up the road, as you will not be disappointed! Personal experience of mine, I suffered severe toothache whilst on holiday, after long consideration and talking to a local pharmacist I decided it was best to go the hospital to try and get some antibiotics! So we went to our hotel reception for advice, the receptionist (his name was Morlam) repeatedly told me not to go to various hospitals/dental clinics as they would be very expensive! Whilst this was helpful I found it quite patronising and quite frankly a bit rude as I just wanted to go to an emergency room! Eventually he referred me to Vaugirard Hospital (AP-HP), so my partner and I headed there after taking his advice. The drive was around 25 minutes from the hotel, when we arrived, the hospital looked very dark and quite haunting with screaming coming from the hospital rooms. My partner and I looked at each other, and knew that it didn’t feel right. We went into the reception and was quickly advised that we were not at the correct place, and that it was a psychiatric hospital!!! How did the hotel receptionist get this so wrong?! This should be part of hotel staff training to advise tourists where an emergency room is, surely!! We were then advised of another hospital, who were also unable to help us but referred us to a dental emergency room, by the time we got there it was around 22:30, and I was seen by a dentist by 22:45, who prescribed me antibiotics and strong painkillers! So thankful to this dentist as it managed to settle the pain for the rest of my stay in Paris! Overall the hotel wasn’t great, and we were very disappointed with our stay!

This hotel is rated as a 4 star but it is absolutely not! They advertise AC, but they do not have AC. In fact, there was a fan in my closet so I know the AC is turned off (not controlled in the room) or has not been working for some time. The fan vents in the bathrooms are filthy and need to be cleaned. The carpets were stained in my room. Possibly dog urine as they are pet friendly. The toilet area (water closet) smells like urine. As I said- not a 4 star!! The Pullman next store which is also owned by Accor looked nice…

This was a very safe, nice place to stay. Our room was really nice with partial view of the Eiffel Tower. Everything worked great , including the AC , the mini fridge and the shower. Great location , minutes from the Eiffel tower, champs de mars and restaurants . The stuff was very friendly, polite and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel !

5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Convenient location to the metro, buses, and markets. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. We didn't spend too much time in the hotel only to rest and sleep. Check in time took longer than I would prefer but were treated with courtesy. Booked 2 rooms both with view of the Eiffel Tower. I called for extra towels and were delivered promptly. The 2nd room ordered towels but it was never delivered so service was inconsistent. Air condition worked well and good WIFI. Overall good experience at the hotel. I would stay here again.

Great location if you want to see the Eiffel Tower while you’re heading in and out! It is steps away. We enjoyed viewing it every time we stepped out of our hotel. It’s beautiful both during the day and night. However, we gave this hotel 3 stars, because of the check in process. We arrived early in the morning and was told that the room would be ready by 3 pm. However, after several attempts to check in, our room was not ready until 5:30 pm! There were about 30 other guests who were also waiting on a late room and the check in line was very long. Each time we had to check to see if our room was ready, we had to wait in a very long line. Very frustrating, especially on your first day with jet lag. We asked if there was another way to check on our room and they said no. Other than this mishap, this hotel was fine!

I've read some of the bad reviews about this hotel, however, for what it is, i.e. somewhere to sleep in Paris, in the midst of your city adventure, then it's absolutely fine. We had come from a relaxing 4 days in the Loire Valley, knowing that Paris would be hot and busy and that the hotel would be functional rather than pretty, and that's exactly what it was. We checked in at 2pm with no trouble, and were lucky enough to secure one of the parking spaces in the small underground car park (28 euros for 24 hours). After an afternoon exploring, we then didn't get back to the hotel till 10.30pm, and had checked out by 9am. (We were able to leave the car till 3pm when we left Paris.) Bed was comfortable, room cool, and bathroom clean and functional (very good shower actually). So all in all, it did exactly what we wanted it to do. I wouldn't stay there for a romantic weekend, but it was perfect for our purposes.

After reading some of the negative reviews of this hotel I almost cancelled my reservation and went with another hotel. I’m so glad I didn’t! I booked a junior suite so we would have 1 double bed for 2 adults and a double bed with pull out couch for my son. Check in went fast, I don’t think it was more than 15 minutes total). No one was rude at the front desk like some posts previously stated. We never waited for elevators and I thought they were very fast. The room was clean and we were never interrupted by housekeeping. The location is very close to Eiffel tower (the pic I included was taken on the hotels front steps). A few restaurants not far and there is even a close market. Taxis line up out front so you never have to wait for one. We had drinks out on the lawn - both Hugo and Alan (I believe that was the gentleman’s name) were both friendly and welcoming. The breakfast had enough to get us fed and out the door. I would definitely stay here again!
