Hotel is in a good place close to Notre dame and in an historical neighborhood that "never sleeps". This is the good part. Now the bad one: bad housekeeping. Common areas are not in good shape nor clean. The view of brown stains in the entrance carpet is not the best thing to welcome a guest. If in addition you... More

Hotel was perfect for a solo traveller I was very impressed it was clean it looked great and had a nice view. Bed was comfortable. Tv was ok to watch but would have been nice to see some English language channels. I was rather amusing watching the nanny tv show in French haha

We got this hotel as part of a vacation package, so we did not choose it specifically, but we really enjoyed it. We were on the top floor (room 61) and had a view of the Pantheon and also the Eiffel Tower!! Teeny tiny room and bathroom, but that is to be expected in this part of Paris. The lift... More

The room was quite small but very modern and tidy. Our room was on top floor with a great view over the roofs of Paris. Great location, lots of restaurants, shops and bars. The staff was friendly, perhaps not very fluent with English.

The hotel was a good value and in a great location. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, a 2-minute walk to a Metro station, and a 15-20 minute walk to the River Seine and Notre Dame. My husband and I stayed 4 nights. We ate dinner 2 nights at the restaurant right under the hotel and 1 dinner we ate... More

The hotel is located excellently near the Place Monge subway stop in the Latin quarter and within walking distance of Notre Dame and the Ile de Cite. The bathrooms were a little too small for comfort. The Latin quarter is simply charming and the streets and restaurants that surround this hotel are ideal for tourists. You must try a Nutella... Very charming welcome, light soundproof room, good bedding, perfectly clean bathroom. The shower cabin is a bit slippery and elevated, which could cause problems do eldery or sglightly disabled persons. Grteat helpful staff, many things in walking distance.

The Qualys Apolonia Mouffetard is a special find, and we're so happy that this was our last stop on a five-city Europe tour. Very minor cons: The rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny. BUT you probably won't spend much time in your room. Some rooms have no air conditioning, and we were initially placed in one of those... More

This hotel is located close to the metro in the Latin Quarter. The rooms and bathroom are a bit small but the bed was very comfortable. It is situated on rue Mouffetard which has a variety of cafes, shops and the best gelato in Paris. The service was excellent, they even booked our taxi to the airport ! I would... More

We were lucky to be greeted and served by the hotel's young manager (owner ?), who kindly upgraded us to the very nice suite on the upper floor. Dream room, bedding, shower, view on Paris' roofline, everything we like. And the said manager really tried his best to make us feel good. I hope he will succeed ! It must... More

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
