We reserved a Classic Double room in this hotel (specified as 14 m²) as part of our honeymoon. When we got into it, we measured scarcely 8 m². It was half a meter more or less from the edge of the bed to the wall. There was no space for two people and two suitcases there!! (We took photos of...

Lovely hotel in a great location with very helpful staff. It is away from "touristy" Paris but still close enough to visit all the landmarks with ease. Would recommend to any couple wanting to see the real Paris.

Our hotel room was definitely cozy but the beds were very comfortable and it was clean. The breakfast buffet each morning had a variety of choices and was tasty. You can't beat the location. There are quite a few bakeries and cafes within a block of the hotel. Notre Dame and the Pantheon are a short walk from the hotel....

Good hotel, great location, great service. Carpet in the hall of apartment floor needs to be replaced, but the room is great and well maintained. Breakfast is very good, and staff were all very nice!!

I love the Rue Mouffetard in Paris so was delighted to find this small hotel there. We booked two Superior Double rooms which were on the 5th floor and perfectly quiet and comfortable. Not large rooms, but bigger than some I have stayed in in Paris. The staff were really friendly and nice, the location was perfect and we thoroughly...

Hotel is in a good place close to Notre dame and in an historical neighborhood that "never sleeps". This is the good part. Now the bad one: bad housekeeping. Common areas are not in good shape nor clean. The view of brown stains in the entrance carpet is not the best thing to welcome a guest. If in addition you...

Hotel was perfect for a solo traveller I was very impressed it was clean it looked great and had a nice view. Bed was comfortable. Tv was ok to watch but would have been nice to see some English language channels. I was rather amusing watching the nanny tv show in French haha

We got this hotel as part of a vacation package, so we did not choose it specifically, but we really enjoyed it. We were on the top floor (room 61) and had a view of the Pantheon and also the Eiffel Tower!! Teeny tiny room and bathroom, but that is to be expected in this part of Paris. The lift...

The room was quite small but very modern and tidy. Our room was on top floor with a great view over the roofs of Paris. Great location, lots of restaurants, shops and bars. The staff was friendly, perhaps not very fluent with English.

The hotel was a good value and in a great location. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby, a 2-minute walk to a Metro station, and a 15-20 minute walk to the River Seine and Notre Dame. My husband and I stayed 4 nights. We ate dinner 2 nights at the restaurant right under the hotel and 1 dinner we ate...

Staying in Quartier Latin

Neighborhood Profile
Quartier Latin
The Latin Quarter bursts with intellectual life, architectural splendor and ongoing merriment. The small streets are filled with classical buildings, student bars and lively eateries while the squares are dominated by historic monuments. The area is defined by the 800-year-old Sorbonne University, where Latin once prevailed, and is famous for the Pantheon which celebrates the great men and women of France. During the day students rush from classes to the library and intellectuals people watch from the terraced cafés. As night time falls the surrounding establishments fill up and the merriment really begins. The liveliest parts are around Rue Mouffetard, lined with crêperies and international street food eateries, and Place de la Contrescarpe characterised by terraced brasseries, this neighborhood provides real nourishment for the mind, belly, and soul.
