You get what you pay for, but not more! Small room and exceptionally small bathroom. OK beds. Good working wifi. And the breakfast is outstanding good. Quiet neighboorhood but just 5 minutes to the nearest Metro.

We use to stay in this hotel for more than 15 years at least twice a year. It gives the opportunity of car parking for acceptable price, it is close to metro station line 7, I know some people from reception and I have few friends in bar service :-). This stay I have decided to use offer of package... More

It was a decent budget hotel, its located quite close to metro station say around 400 meters, lot of eating joint near the hotel and you will find small super markets, bakery shops & coffee shop all at a walking distance. View in front of the hotel is good since the canal flows and in the evening you will see... More

The IBIS La Villette Cité de Sciences 19ème Paris is a bit old and run down with very small but functional rooms. My room and bathroom stank of cigarettes, but the main problem was that the air conditioning was not working. One can understand it needs to be inspected and upgraded once in a while but doing so in the... More

Cheap and easy. It's a bit out of the city centre but the subways are very easy to use. The staff are super friendly and the room very clean. We only spent maybe 8 hours in the hotel when we slept so we didn't utilise the facilities but it had a nice restaurant and bar and I'm sure it would've... More

Stayed here with a Cosmos tour & just can't wait to leave! People say Paris hotels are small but this is a joke! I had to have the bathroom door open to actually get in the shower. Can barely walk down the side of the bed & no room to put suitcases out of the way. Not sure how anyone... More

Stayed 2 nights in June 2016. Friendly staff, clean lobby and breakfast area with a good breakfast. Our room was on the 8th floor, needs TLC. Ran out off soap afer 1 day, can not remove the soap dispenser from the wall. No hand towel. Rooms are small for North American standard. No Air Conditioner. 2 windows to open for... More

Stayed here as part of a Cosmos group tour and the company should really rethink on the hotel as part of their tour. The hotel is in quite a shady neighborhood. Coming home late night and walking down from metro station is quite a risk, especially if you have ladies with you. Never felt safe the three nights I was... More

Our room was compact but had a large window in the bedroom and a smaller one in the bathroom which when opened allowed a view of one of the canals of the River Seine. We were on level 4 with a very clean, neat room. Breakfast was really nice and staff couldn't be any friendlier.

All is very small: room, bathroom, closet. Can't control air conditioner . Central ventilation. Room is always hot! People makind drugs around the corner and I have to pass by daily to take the metro. Don't feel safe to walk at night. Towels and bed cover have holes. Bathroom walls are ripped off. Only thing good is breakfast and housekeeper... More

Staying in La Villette

Neighborhood Profile
La Villette
This futuristic landscape has come to define the northeast of Paris. The Saint-Denis canal is framed with luscious lawns and metallic buildings over a wide-open space. Home to Europe's largest science museum, this area rewards daytime and nighttime explorations; there are three concert spaces, plus cinemas and bars, and even open-air cinema in the summer. The surrounding homes are a sharp contrast to the futuristic space. Though on the outskirts of Paris, La Villette is worth the short Metro ride from the center.
